The hotel is small but nice, super clean and the people working there are quite helpfull and friendly. Location was really good if you are travelling for vacations for siteseeing, for work matters was not the best option as it really close to the city center.

It is in a touristic area so there is a lot of noise during the day and night, also breakfast for you need to look somewhere else where to eat. I would recomend to the people of the hotel to think about installing a coffee machine in the room or at least a kettle with some coffee and tea.

The hotel was centrally located and within east walking distance to places such as Prado Museum. The room was clean and nicely presented with a comfortable bed and good shower. No restaurant facilities (I think a review said there were( but that didn’t matter as you were spoilt for choice in the immediate area. Speaking of which, the location is very nice, lots of little grocery stores and such like and a laundromat almost next door with helpful staff. I loved the down to earth feel if the immediate area but don’t miss understand me, it’s was not shabby, just a working neighbourhood. The hotel has a small reception desk which was always manned and the staff were very friendly.

Well, when I arrived, they presented me with a bill which was just a few euro higher than the Booking dit com price but when I challenged them, they happily accepted my booked price. Other than that, no issues

Excellent location within easy hitting distance of the Antón Martín market (proper fish & meat stalls and grocers as well as a few places to have drinks and tapas), good restaurants and shopping. The hotel was very clean and the room overlooking the interior patio was comfortable and clean. Also a short walk to the rastro flea market.

There was only a sliding door screen between the room and the en suite bathroom and toilet so not so good if you are sharing with someone other than your partner.

Really great value for money. For me, breakfast and minibar/fridge is not important, and that’s the only difference. Nice room without carpet which I love, close to everything, also some great cafées etc. very friendly staff. Some of them don’t speak English, but we used google translate if I had questions.

Excellent location, close to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions, very comfortable beds, great shower, surprisingly very quiet despite being close to all the major attractions, had a excellent nights' sleep, highly recommended, great value for money. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing not to like

Comfy beds, and a great location. Having a terrace meant we could have the doors open.

It might just have been our fellow guests, but it was quite noisy when people came back to their rooms at night. I didn't like not having a sink to wash hands in the bathroom. The only sink is in the bedroom. I wasn't a fan of having a sliding door on the bathroom either. There wasn't a view from the terrace, so it seems to have only been used as a smoking area by previous guests.

My recent stay at Hotel Freedom was quite enjoyable. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. We had a large bed and even a sofa, which was a nice bonus. The bed was comfy, and the extra seating came in handy. Cleanliness was on point throughout the room. Everything felt fresh and tidy, which made our stay more enjoyable. The hotel's location was decent. It took us about 10-15 minutes to walk to the nearest metro station. The staff was lovely. They were friendly and always ready to help. Their assistance and recommendations made our stay more pleasant. In summary, Hotel Freedom offered a comfortable room, great cleanliness, a reasonable location, and friendly staff.

Excellent location, next to Metro, half way between plaza mayor and Retiro park. Comfortable beds in triple room. Accommodating staff.

This was our second visit to Hotel freedom, we returned again as it is a lovely hotel, with fantastic warm, welcoming staff. It’s in a wonderful location and a short distance from the metro, buses, restaurants, shops and attractions. Madrid has some incredible buildings to see and this hotel is perfect for visiting them. Be it on foot or transport. The cathedral and palace are a fifteen minute walk away, plaza major, under ten minutes. Some beautiful parks very close by too. The rooms are bright, clean, modern. We choose a room with a terrace which was lovely to sit outside in the evening with a drink. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a lift within the hotel. The perfect base to explore this gorgeous city!

Lovely hotel in a great location close to Anton market. We were only there for one night for a train connection but it suited us perfectly. No frills but very comfortable and very friendly staff at the reception which is staffed 24 hours. Great tapas bars nearby and it’s in a perfect location for all Madrid has to offer. We have stayed in Madrid a number of times and would happily stay here again.
