The location is perfect, quiet street and very close to the main attractions and also the metro. The room is spacious and comfortable and the small kitchen very convenient.

The bathroom is small, so for 4 people isn’t comfortable and the sofa bed takes a bit of work to assemble. Also, I arrived earlier and the room was already ready but they didn’t let us in to the room. And they don’t offer storage to leave your luggage at checkout, I had to take my luggage to a place (lockers place) , like 100m away, to keep my luggage and pay for it, and it was 37 degrees outside. If you are with kids or elderly people, it’s inconvenient.

We stayed in the deluxe one bedroom apartment. This is a lovely bright apartment with beautiful artistic touches. It has a spacious living room and bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen area is very restricted so only suitable for preparation of light meals. Although it does have a useful range of kitchen ware. The location is brilliant, very close to the Calle Huertas, a great centre for restaurents and nightlife. Also a stones throw from the fabulous Santa Anna Plaza. The apartment building is on a quiet side street so not noisy at night. Communications in advance were fine and phone contact with the office pre arrival to agree an early check- in was very helpful.

As mentioned the kitchen area is very restricted making it less attractive for longer stays. Also It would have been helpful to provide more coffee pods for the coffee machine, only 4 provided for 2 people for 2 days. There is no front desk or staff on the premises, except cleaning staff in the mornings. Therefore leaving baggage after checkout is not possible. It also creates a very impersonal feeling. While we highlight these issues, overall we enjoyed our stay.

Location. Easy access to restaurants, markets, neighborhoods and sightseeing.

Not enough sound proof, I can even hear the showering sound of the other bathroom, no mention the bathroom inside the bedroom, the noise is huge when someone is using it. Wifi signal is too weak for the bedroom far away from living room. No washing machine at all, but it was mentioned as hotel facility. No reception to store the luggages after checking out.

We got into Madrid at 10:00 am. After receiving an email that we could store our luggage until check in time, it didn’t happen. We had to sit outside in a park for 4 hours with our luggage until we could get into our apartment. WE NEVER SAW ANY STAFF MEMBERS AT ALL DURING OUR ENTIRE STAY!

I absolutely loved my stay at Amor de Dios 17. The apartment is in a charming old building that has been beautifully renovated with great taste, while still keeping its character — and yes, it even has an elevator! The apartment itself is very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning (a real plus in Madrid’s summer). I had just come from staying at the Intercontinental Madrid, but honestly felt even more at home here. The location is fantastic — just a short 10-minute walk to the main market, world-class museums, and Retiro Park. The neighborhood has plenty to see, do, and eat, with countless restaurants and cafés nearby. One thing to note: it’s in a lively central area near the metro, so there can be some crowds and noise at night. I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me, but lighter sleepers may want to keep that in mind. Overall, highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Madrid who wants comfort, style, and convenience all in one.

The sofa bed could be cleaned better (I didn’t use it) with noticeable dark stains. because it’s in a lively central area near the metro, there can be some crowds and noise at night. I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me, but light sleepers may notice.

Quiet and clean place with equipped kitchen. Located in the city center. Good AC, many towels, soft bed. Has entrance to terrace, has furniture and dishes. Quite expensive though

Price is quite high for the room like this.

We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. We travelled with two early teenagers and the two bedroom flat catered us very comfortably. We stayed in the pinkish flat and I have to say it looks way nicer than in the photos. The flat is bright, airy and very comfortable. It is well equipped with kitchen utensils and with Nespresso machine! The building is quiet and private. A lift is available to help access the flats with groceries and luggage. Location is prime, 10 minutes walk to Prado and Reina Sofia Museums.... short stroll to Porta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Mercado San Miguel! Plenty of markets, restaurants and cafés around! Check in and out were hassle free, even though you don't get to see anyone. We loved our stay and we will definitely come back to Madrid and Amor de Dios!

This is my new favourite place to stay in Madrid. I stayed in Apartment 1 which was stylish and the bed extremely comfortable. The shower is EXCELLENT with hot, strong pressure. WIFI was strong and reliable, you could easily work from here. The kitchen had everything I needed and utensils were clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and great to relax in. Even though this flat was on the ground floor, the apartment was quiet and facing a backyard patio. Everything you need is nearby, the metro is just outside as well. Grocery stores in 5min range if you want to do some in house cooking. 
Coffee machine, kettle, toaster, induction stove and micro. oven made this place flexible for anyone. 
The Hair dryer actually does the job well, too. It’s important for me to feel ‘at home’ and this place was great with reading arm chairs and ambient lights.

Some areas of the floor a little dust and the chair fabric could do with some stain removal, but other than that it was spotless. I am quite fussy with cleanliness and the place felt well cleaned overall, in fact I would be back here.

THIS property exceeded our expectations - not only is the location in the heart of Madrid, the accommodations were very comfortable and spacious - it is more like an apartment. The lobby is welcoming and the host made himself very available to us throughout our stay. In fact, he asked us about our plans and provided valuable insights to make our Madrid trip even better! The in room Nespresso and kitchenette helped make each morning start off easily! We feel so lucky to have stayed at Amor de Dios 17 - and hope to return in the future! Gracias James!

We suggest reviewing the slope of the shower floor, and improve the water flow to the drain versus water flowing under the glass shower door into the vanity area. Not a big deal for us - but could function better....

Enjoyed the two bedroom apartment! Comfy rooms each with their separate bathroom and shower. Great location, very close to subway, supermarket and a food court. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby as well. Enjoyed getting a morning croissant and coffee downstairs.

Hot water in one of the showers wasn't working well.
