everything the location is the best, close to everything and to main metro&bus lines and it's just in front Antom Martin market, which is a great place to fine all kinds of food and a lot of restaurants and cafes around. also It felt very secure place and area, even at night. the staff are super friendly we could leave our luggage when we come early in the morning before check in time, and at our check out we stored them for several hours until our flight free of charge the room was very clean and it was cleaned every day ( not very common in hostals). we asked for a quite room and they gave us perfect room to the ally and not the main road.. excellent WIFI in the room really a perfect place for people that like to travel but come back "home" at night. I'm waiting for my next time in Madrid - would definitely book there again!

Great location in the historic centre, metro just outside the entrance, many restaurants, bars and shops around. Tiny room with simple furnishings but clean and with a comfortable bed. I only went there for a sleepover so quite adequate.

There was a lot of noise from the next room, especially the sound of the door banging a lot, and the bathroom, which was probably just behind the (probably thin) wall from my bed. But overall the accommodation was ok. I will have no problem staying here again.

Location is very convenient, next to Anton Martin Metro Station, and also bus stops as well. 24h convenience store and many other shops on the same street all within 5 mins walk. Having access codes provided allowed for extremely late night check-ins like mine. Didn't have to meet a single person as everything was done beforehand, making the checking in process very smooth on the day itself without much thought other than bringing your things there safely.

Corridor was a really narrow one with sharp slightly awkward turns. The room felt a little cramped at times, like the cupboard doors could hit the TV screen if not careful. Toilet door also felt too close to the sink. Bathtub felt a little higher than toilet floor, so had to be extra careful when exiting. Just minor things that had to note when using the room. If you have claustrophobia, maybe the corridor could be a problem

The staffs were the best thing here. The private room was fair enough. Actually, I was expecting a worse thing but l was lucky. Most of the sightseeings are close to the property and it saved us good money and time avoiding taxi/bus/metro (and contributes to our health as we walked a lot).

During our last night, some room neighbour was very upset about the noises on the property. The couple knocked on my door and asked to be quiet. It was weird as we were not doing any kind of noise (we are a couple with a 3yo kid). The noise was about my son taking a shower only (shower maybe?). After that, we start to watch TV. After 2h more or less, someone knocked strong on the TV wall. Strong enough to wake up my son that scared and started to cry. A few minutes later, someone from the hostel called and asked me to stop the noise. I said that I was only watching TV but she insisted that then, I volume down it because I was disturbing her client. I asked, am I not your client as well? The volume was not too loud, something like 25 points.

The location, cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff. Room was small and cozy with a sink and separate toilet and shower. It was a short walk to Atocha station as well as plaza mayor. Morning coffee was very close too. The staff helped me get to the room after hours because of a late flight and was helpful in guiding me around Madrid. The bed was comfortable, the room cozy and clean and the air conditioning was highly welcome.

Not much to dislike honestly. After washing my clothes in the sink there were not many places to hang them. Very unique concern I'm sure. I didn't ask, either. The building was under some reconstruction it seems. This didn't bother me but maybe someone else might think it an issue.

The staff are outstanding here! I started my Camino from Madrid and had some stuff I didn't need on the way. The receptionist agreed to keep my bags until I returned. Free of charge! On my departure, I also needed to leave with them a birthday present for my friend who was supposed to come the next day. They did it for me, too. The hostal is centrally located, on the 2nd floor of a typical Spanish building. So, you can enjoy the atmosphere. It's a 10-minute walk to the center and even closer to the Atocha station. You can find many cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood, and the Reina Sofia is a 5-minute walk away.

As in every typical Spanish building, the hostal lacks soundproofing. If you close the window, the outside noise will fade away, but the noise from adjacent rooms is still right with you. You can hear any sound your neighbour makes. The smell of rose petals they had in the entrance hall was too intense and followed me everywhere. It's not a big deal if you are not sensitive to intense odours.

It was a pleasure to stay at this accommodation. It is in the center of the city. Walkable distance to all main attractions for tourists. The check-in went smooth. You are given the access code from the entrance and the room card and that's it. You'll never see someone from the staff again. When you check-out you'll drop the room card in a mail box so you can easily leave as early as you need. The room was clean and the towels too. All in all I am very pleased with my stay at this hostal.

The location is unbeatable. While it's close to public transport, I spent all my time walking around and could easily stop back for an afternoon siesta. It's also walking distance from the Attocha train station, you can get trains from there all over Spain and also get a direct bus from the airport there for 5EUR. (It is, however, a steep walk uphill from the station to the hostal, so if you have a lot of luggage you may prefer another means of transport). Keyless entry worked seamlessly.

While I couldn't head the noise from the street, I did need to wear earplugs because you could easily hear noise in the other rooms, especially when taps were turned on or toilets flushed. The bed was also a little too hard for my liking.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. My way to land to Madrid was nightmare (flight delayed and missed my flight to Madrid, arrived in Madrid one day late, and baggage delayed). I contacted the about these problems and asked adjustments, and they dealt things with smiles. I was disappointed that I needed to change plans, but they made my days in Madrid brighter. Also, the room and other facilities were always super clean (even from the view of Japanese). The location is good for reaching the major Museums on foot. I definitely will stay here when I would visit Madrid. And I totally recommend.

The location is great, everything is in walkable distance! The room is in very bright, happy colors! Easy to check-in and check-out.

The only inconvenience for me was the super tiny bathroom, the toilet was too close to the smallest bathtub I have seen. But all was fully functional and most importantly CLEAn! And you could hear noise from everywhere, street, neighbors, cleaning lady, but for me it was ok I am not a light sleeper.
