Breakfast was plentiful with good selection of choices - however,as English people, the hotel version of "toast" was more like dry stale bread (than grilled fresh bread) and the tea bags supplied produced a tea that was too weak.

Apart from the minor quibble of lack of fresh bread/toast, the absence of a heated swimming pool in basement was a bit disappointing. But these were minor points: the hotel was very comfortable, accommodating, and stylish.

The entire experience was beyond exceptional - from the stunning design to the outstanding service, the spacious room, the attentive staff and concierge, and the prime location.

The hotel gave an amazing feeling. The vide was very relaxing and pampering, the facilities were everything we could wish for. The staff even brought colouring book , colours and the Teddy bear for our kid, and set up a tipi for her. The best thing was B&O speaker, adding to the overall comfort. We loved everything! A special note about the breakfast: it's served in the patio, and is overall very good for 25 euro pp. You can order any number of plates you want (that includes fruits, jamon, baked goods, yogurt and eggs). We found it it tasty and satisfying. The area around was very safe, and it was a 5-10 min walking to almost everything

Stayed in a suite and the size of the room far exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was super generously sized, especially the shower - it had 2 shower heads with the best pressure I’ve ever had. Was hard to get out! The sitting area was nice and included a couch and mini bar. The bedroom was also great, the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel was very conveniently located and we ended up walking everywhere. Would highly recommend Mercado Del San Miguel - it was amazing!! The staff were especially helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area. The pool area was a great place to come back at the end of the night and relax. Would stay again!

Hard to identify anything we “didn’t” like. I will say, the 2nd night we were there, they did not come to clean the room until 5pm. We notified the front desk that we’d like them to come earlier and it was handled from then on!

My daughter and I spent a week in Spain (Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid) and this was our favorite hotel. It is beautiful!!!! The staff were so helpful - they gave us a map of the city and pointed out sites of interest, they provided water and delicious sweets at check-in, a handwritten note and chocolates in the room, and we even scored a free upgrade. The location was wonderful - easy to walk to most of the sites but also a bit quieter of an area than the typical tourist spots. I love that they provided not only a hair dryer but a top of the line flat iron! We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly!!!!!!!!!

It was perfect!!!

I recently stayed at CoolRooms in Madrid, and I must say it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the elegance and charm of the hotel. The attention to detail in the room's decor was remarkable, making it a perfect blend of style and comfort. The service at CoolRooms was outstanding. The staff was always friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was pleasant. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant staff, everyone made me feel welcome and valued. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Madrid. It is situated in a vibrant area with easy access to major attractions, shopping districts, and public transportation. I found it convenient to walk to many popular sites and enjoyed the lively neighborhood.

The location was very good. Just next to central. Atocha is a very cool neighbourhood with lots of eateries. Open through Easter. The bed was supremely comfortable and we loved the high ceiling and great air conditioning.

The bathroom was rather cold during this cool spring. Would appreciate a second luggage rack ( but this applies everywhere). A towel heater rack would be nice.

The location is cool and central close to las Letras where you find great cafes ansld restaurants. Also, Walking distance to museums. Rooms are very big! Building has a lot of potential but poorly decorated especially at entrance. They have great amenities quality.

The lighting of the whole hotel is terrible! Light bulbs with filaments in your eyes. Direction of lighting poor all over the room. Room is huge yet you can’t find an armchair to sit on! Desk has no electricity socket underneath. Noway to put makeup neither in bathroom nor bedroom! Ac can only be turned on when the hotel decides to make it function.

This hotel is a hidden gem - it was the highlight of our trip to Madrid. Unfortunately the name CoolRooms makes it sound like a budget apartment chain to the English-speaking ear, but it’s really a luxury boutique hotel. The huge rooms were finished to a very high standard, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, the toiletries and hairdryer etc in the room were some of the best I’ve seen (nicer even than at big 5* resorts) and the bar/restaurant/pool were lovely to have too. We thought it was extremely good value for money.

Excellent service from all the staff in particular Sonia Yague the Guest Experience Manager . The room was cleaned and refreshed to a 5* plus standard. The location is excellent particularly for the museums although not the best for shopping. We ate in the Resturant on Valentine’s Day, a 5 course menu. Food very good and, again excellent service. The restaurant area ( off season) overlooks the pool and garden and is very pleasant.

We had a Junior suite. Very large and beautifully decorated but did not have a seating area. When asked two comfortable chairs and a small table were installed immediately and wine and champagne delivered free of charge. Very fair indeed but if you are thinking of a suite do inquire as to furniture!
