This was probably the best accommodation we've booked lately! It was such a nice surprise - even more than we have come to Madrid after Barcelona (which is overpriced and has small and less equipped apartments at higher prices). The terrace was our oasis in the middle of Madrid, we spent there our mornings and nights and it was beautiful. All is sparkling clean, very designish, the bed was comfy and we had wonderful pillows. The kitchen, the bathroom had all that a couple needs. We even received complementary gifts and it was a nice surprise. And we liked that, sometimes, you could find needed stuff in the reception area (like salt, toothbrushes, napkins, vegetables). The 2 guys that run Limehome worldwide deserve our gratitude and we will search accommodation from them in the cities that they operate.

All was perfect.

The instructions to enter the house for the first time and afterwards were very clear and convenient to use. There are plenty of lovely, local restaurants, supermarkets and grocery stores nearby. The kitchen space was new and very spacious to allocate groceries, and equipped with most kitchenware to conveniently eat at home. The three radiators worked wonderfully during our winter stay.

The noise from other guests going up and down the stairs as well as in their apartments was audible inside. There was no indication of any replenishment of toiletries or cleaning of the house. The historical places such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, etc. are still some walking distance away. The Wi-Fi was somewhat slow most of the time due to the poor signal strength.

We absolutely loved how close to everything that apartment was! There is a 24-hour grocery store right down the street, and two metro stations (Lavapiés & Anton Martin) pretty close. We loved walking around and exploring. Tons of good restaurants too... We liked how easy it was to get in the apartment. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio. People were very respectful, it was mostly quiet. We enjoyed the elevator. The bathroom, especially the shower was really nice.

Unfortunately, the couch bed was very uncomfortable... Also, there is a big closet, but no drawers, only one shelf, and no clothes hangers, so that was a little bit annoying. I ended up leaving my things in my suitcase on the bottom of the closet.

Very clean apartment. Relative convenient location, proximal to most popular tourist, destinations; within walking distance. Many local café, grocery stores and close to Metro stations.

Shower spills out of the bathroom onto the floor because the glass screen is only partially covered and the bottom part sealant came off allowing more shower water to leak out onto the floor. I did not notify the management as I don’t want maintenance workers to make a mess of the bathroom since I have already moved in. Most nights are very quiet but the I couldn’t sleep for a few nights because people next door were talking past midnight. I believe it is because the partitions are not thick enough to shield off sounds.

was well equipped. a welcome gift a nice touch. and oil, vinegar and salt there. the small things make a difference. appreciated having an icebox with the full size fridge so I could buy frozen vege and icecream.

not getting the codes till the last minute. without wifi it is tricky when you are travelling from another country. just access to wifi until check in time would have been helpful to communicate with the owners. as an English speaker only it would be helpful to be able to access some English content o tv as I had at another place. I was unable to work the TV at all. just kept saying no signal. might be my ineptitude and I can’t nor do I expect other countries to speak my language. I feel privileged and appreciate that most people including people from this property take the trouble to speak as much of my language as they do when I cannot speak any other.

I enjoyed having the kitchenette and the refrigerator was a good size if you wanted to place things in it. I enjoy using the coffee pot and toaster. There were adequate things to use if you wanted to cook and we did a couple of times because we were there for two weeks. We were able to sweep and mop the floor, wash the sheets, and clean the apartment before we left, leaving adequate supplies for the next people to enjoy.

The couch was not comfortable, No one in person to converse with about the light bulb burning out or instruction about washing machine. Some of the containers in the bathroom had very little liquids in them and the shower had to be positioned awkwardly to take a shower in order for the water not to flow out onto the floor..

The location of the apartment is awesome. All the important sights were within walking distance. This allowed us to discover the beautiful corners and alleyways of Madrid. The nearest metro station was 5 minutes from the accommodation. The apartment is in a lively neighborhood. Many restaurants of all cuisines were to be found. The nearest supermarket was 1min away. The apartment was very large. 2 bedrooms and a living area with kitchen + balcony. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space. The apartment is equipped with all necessary household appliances, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer etc.. The beds were comfortable and big enough for two adults. Communication with the Limehome staff was great. All important information, such as how to get the door code, was sent by email. Any questions during the stay, would be made via Whatsapp. They answered us immediately and helped us further.

Since the apartment is in a busy neighborhood, it is a bit noisy at night. If you like to sleep with the windows open, you probably won't find it so easy to sleep as it will be a bit noisy.

The location is lovely, and easy to access. The building also has an easy access. The home is rather stylish and has all the basic necessary amenities. The whatsapp support was quite responsive, but not always accommodating. However, when boiler leaked it was fixed in a very timely manner. And the staff on the premises is very nice. The little bar downstairs is very cool and offers the real Madrid locals vibe. A lot of great places to eat and have specialty coffee around. Despite being so central it's quiet for a good night rest, if outside gets rowdy, closing windows solves the issue.

We booked for 2 weeks, yet such simple, basic yet crucial things like washing machine and dishwashing capsules and garbage bags were only provided for one time use. I understand that coffee and tea are only offered for the first morning and must be resupplied per your tastes, but it's strange to have to shop for garbage bags on a vacation. The pricing point could've definitely afforded that. Also beware of the shower: because it's the same level as floor the water can escape the bathroom if directed behind you. If you need something from the housekeeping - get it by 3 PM or they leave. The stairs to the upper level are very steep, require a good physical shape. Or at least the knees :)

Location is good. Nice modern apartment, quite well equipped kitchen. I didn't like the idea of digital only access as I thought it could go wrong but all went OK.

No kettle. kitchen is very small so difficult to prepare any food. Sofa bed is not very comfortable. Need WiFi to be able to get access code on the day. This was easy when the UK was part of the EU but since our insane departure travelling in Europe is harder, specifically we now have to pay extra for a data plan which has to be working whilst travelling en route tot he apartment in order to get the access code. It would be far less stressful to issue the access code at time of booking.

Location was great to get every where walking, quiet neighbourhood, kitchen nicely appointed for cooking, washing machine was handy, getting access by digital entry was easy and wasn't pressured to meet someone at certain time. Felt like a home and not a hotel

The bathroom was quite small with limited space to put toiletries. The shower drained slowly causing extra water to run outside of shower. (Us North Americans are not used to showers that are not contained) The suite was just outside what seemed like a bit of a sketchy area. Didn't feel comfortable going there at night
