I like staying here as it was comfortable and there was a separate space to work as well as a kitchen to prepare food. There is a kettle, free filtered water and a fridge to store your food. You can also buy a coffee and a pastry at the reception. The staff are very helpful and polite. The bathrooms were cleaned on regular basis and there was no rubbish lying around like in other hostels (maybe the tourists were more considerate towards others and cleaned after themselves)

The room felt a bit stuffy at times and there was no window to open to ventilate it. There was hardly any daylight in the room as it only had small windows located near the ceiling.

Location is amazing, walking distance to all central districts yet on a quiet street. We had a premium double room ( with full bathroom) and it was just like a hotel room. You didn’t realize it was a hostel until you walked through it and saw all the young people. Very clean and recently renovated, this is a fantastic place where we stayed for four nights. Beds were comfortable, functioning and quiet ac and a room size perfect for 2 people. I had questions before the visit and got really fast and clear answers. A special thanks to Javi for being so service minded. Really a top notch place , hostels did not look like this when we were young!

It was a great hostel, with comfortable beds with curtains, which is almost necessary for me, and really clean. They also offer towels which is a plus! The personnel was very helpful, when needed. I think it is a great option for someone visiting Madrid!

The lockers were big enough but in my case, the locker was blocked by a column so it couldn't be opened completely, which made its use a bit uncomfortable. The automatic procedure of self-check in was not yet totally functional: I received the check in email with my passcode on the last day of my 4-day stay, just an hour before receiving the check out procedure mail. Finally, I was not a fan of the fact that you had to pay for your luggage storage after the stay, a service usually offered, even if it stated beforehand.

Really nice hostel - super clean with great amenities and helpful staff. The pods give privacy in the large rooms and are comfortable with a charger and small shelf. Towel was free which was nice and the staff tried their best to accommodate us when we asked to move beds sue to a very loud snorer. Kitchen and common areas are nice, with fridges and storage for food. Bathrooms were always very clean, hot showers with good water pressure and hair dryers available Good location and great value for money, definitely one of the nicer hostels I've stayed in.

Only downside was no stovetop for cooking which we noticed only after buying pasta. The kitchen is small but does have ovens and microwaves.

This is a really nice hostel with great amenities. There are plenty of common areas. I didn't get an opportunity to use them all, but the ones I did use were good. There were plenty of fridges to store food, a kitchen/food prep area, a dining area, and large bathrooms. There were also coworking spaces, but I didn't end up using those. There was also reasonably-priced laundry available, though I didn't end up needing to use that. The women's bathrooms were a good size, and I never had to wait for a stall or a shower. There was plenty of mirror space as well. The rooms weren't cramped, and the beds were pod-like with curtains. The rooms had lights with timers on them, so the lights turned off fairly soon after they didn't detect any more movement. And it seems like they were programmed to not turn on lights starting at a certain time of night (which was handy). There was some dim floor lighting (like night lights) at night time, so you could still see enough if you needed to get around the room at night.

I didn't like the location as much as I thought I would. The neighborhood was really hilly, and not as close as I would have liked to most of the locations I ended up wanting to visit. It's not far from the Reina Sofía and Atocha, but it just didn't feel as convenient as some other locations I've stayed at in Madrid before. But, I'd recommend this hostel if you're not too concerned about the location and you place a high value on amenities and common areas.

Loved how bright and clean it was, the receptionist was amazing, she gave me a tour of the facilities and explained everything super well. I wish I remembered her name but she had a mullet hair style and looked cool. It was my first time staying in a hostel so this one certainly set a high standard for my future hostel stays! I rented a lock for the draw under my bed and had no problem with that, got the deposit back after no problem too. The bed was comfy, curtain allowed much needed privacy and the little shelf and sockets were very useful. The others there also minded their business and kept to themselves which I liked.

The person above was leaving at 4am during my first nigh which woke me up, which obviously understand and had no problem with, but he lifted up the mattress to check if he left anything and in doing so saw me in the lower bunk which creeped me out a bit.

I really liked the little touches they have thought about at this hostel. There was free flowing sparkling, still or cold water available on tap, the coffee area by the entrance making proper coffee and pastries from the local bakery making for an excellent breakfast at a bargain price! Also I loved the idea of bringing travellers together to hold a sangria workshop daily in the evenings and there was ample comfy spaces within the hostel to work or relax rather than just stay in your room behind your privacy curtains!

I felt the staff weren't that friendly or welcoming towards me, I got that vibe for some reason as it was abit strange

Absolutely EVERYTHING! It was bright and immaculate, the staff was fantastic, there was coffee/tea/beer, as well as vending and laundry machines available, the kitchen was clean, the other guests were friendly, the rooms were quiet and beds were private, bathrooms were separated for male/female, and we had lockable baskets for our baggage. And it was a tad bit pricier than some other hostels, but completely worth it.

It wasn’t in the best area of the city for a female traveler at night, but it was absolutely fine during the day and I had no problems (even at night).

I want to take the time to compliment the staff, they were so lovely. Especially Maaike (I’m not sure if I write it correctly), so worked this Wednesday morning early. She is very kind and knew my name although she welcome so many guests the whole day, it was super busy. Also the cleaning lady’s are very warm and welcoming. Next to that it’s super clean always and everywhere, which is refreshing for a hostel.

I didn’t like how busy it was but that’s a personal preference, it’s not a hostel where you meet a lot of people because its not really a cosy and intimate setting.

The beds are super comfy, enough space and with curtains. Also sockets and individual light. The automatic light in the room is a bit annoying but the curtains block most of the light. The staff is super nice and there's enough space for working (a dedicated space) great for digitalnomading. The location is convenient, though the Lavapiés metro station could get a tiny scketchy at night, but nothing really dangerous. They offer luggage storage which is super convenient.

The kitchen is well equipped though it lacks burners, so you can cook in the oven, they have microwaves and an electric kettle but now scrambled eggs possible. That's the only thing really.
