Breakfast: fresh, rich, varied. Location: loved returning to a lovely neighbourhood outside the touristic center and having dinner at the fantastic Malaysian restaurant or just shopping at small shops, eateries and bakeries. Personnel: attended to every our wish. Thank you, Ms Ana! The things I will say next are just wishes. Overall this is the great hotel and I would stay here again.

I wish the hotel that presented itself as a 4-star had some water facilities, like a sauna or jacuzzi, at least. If not a little swimming pool. Also, a front desk gentleman who greeted us upon arrival in the evening of October 26th should not recommend El Alamo restaurant: we had the worst experience there. Only one such during the whole week long trip. Our second room, 242, was great, but somehow it was not cleaned within 3 nights we stayed there. Contrary to the 4th floor experience.

unlike other hotels, they don’t provide toothpaste and toothbrush. Me and my husband went to the front desk and ask for toothpaste/toothbrush kit, they talked at each other then looked at us, then gave us only ONE dental kit. We paid €330 for one night and yet we feel like we are beggars for how they acted. I usually bring toothpaste but that was our last day of our trip and ran out of it.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and very efficient with check in and check out process. Alberto and Marta at the front desk are excellent. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was also outstanding and a great value. We stayed at the Elba Madrid Alcala both the day we arrived to Madrid and the night before we departed and it was very conveniently located close to the airport. Additionally the 2 o'clock check in time was much appreciated. We were a family of 7 staying in three different rooms and both times we checked in all the rooms were ready! Fantastic!! Additionally the hotel provides coffee service in the rooms which is something often lacking in other hotels we stayed in during our visit to Spain.

The only element that could perhaps be improved on is the heating/cooling controls in the rooms themselves are a bit hard to figure out how to use. The front desk staff were very responsive and came up to our rooms to show us how to adjust the temperature as needed for each room.

I would say that this was the most cost beneficial hotel that I have being so far. Excelent price for a really good Hotel, rooms are really good and clean, spacious, with good amenity for you. Staff always friendly, good breakfast, with restaurant, gym, and the location is close to metro station (8 minutes tops). I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was ready according to my request. A room further from the elevator on the upper floor with a king-size bed. Air condition was working well, there was a special card used for AC working even if I was not in the room. The hotel even the room itself was furnished very well, I liked the interior everywhere very much. The bathroom was big enough, equipped with everything necessary. The shower was spacy but a bit older. The cleaning was perfect. breakfast included a large variety of food, eggs, bacon, lots of bread and sweet pastry, ham, cheese, fruit. The hotel is located 5 min from the metro station. The hotel was very quiet at night, so I could sleep well and long.

Nothing really serious downsides. I would appreciate the bottle of water more often and not only on the first day. On the departure date, there was a long queue for breakfast, I had to wait about 15 minutes in the queue to get breakfast so that I had to eat very quickly to get the bus to the airport.

The room was a good size, comfortable beds and pillows with a kettle and coffee/tea provided. The room had a mini fridge and there was a safe. Close walking distance to the park, restaurants and shops. There is a Supercor supermarket very close to the hotel. We were allowed to check-in earlier which was great, as we on a long 15hour flight to Madrid.

There was construction going on next to the hotel and our room was facing to the construction site. After a very long flight to Madrid, Spain I just wanted some sleep after checking in, but it was very noisy due to the construction. I heard the noise of the trucks even though I had earplugs in. I would have appreciated if I was told about this at check-in and given an option for a quieter room. Note that the construction noise only lasted until about 4pm/5pm, thereafter it was quiet.

I was in Madrid for an Atlético match and was pleasantly surprised that I had a great view of Metropolitano stadium from my room. Good location, 5 min from Metro. Quiet, warm with adjustable heating. Nice staff and very good breakfast. Superb TV and WiFi.

A tiny bit outdated in places and a bit of mould in the shower but overall clean. I also don't like the way the duvet was not in a cover but weirdly folded into sheets (experienced that before in Central America). It's not very hygienic as the duvet gets exposed quickly.

Really helpful and polite staff. Helped us out with an early check in & also with booking taxis etc.

I thought the €15 per person buffet style breakfast could’ve been better. There literally wasn’t a lot of hot food options available, personally I don’t like eggs and if you don’t like eggs then you’re literally left with bread and bacon/sausages as 2 of the big bowls were fried and scrambled eggs. I was expecting maybe baked beans & hash browns. Other than that the fruit was always fresh and lovely.

Location was good as we were attending an event at the Metropolitano. A bit out of the centre but close to a metro stop. Room was very spacious, bed and pillows were very comfy. Decent breakfast selection.

Think there may have been a small leak down the back of the shower as the bathroom floor seemed to be very wet after. Lighting in the bathroom wasn't great - could have done with a better light around or over the mirror.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The value for money was excellent, and the location was ideal, being close to the metro. The area felt safe and lively even after 10 pm, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room’s facilities were fantastic—spacious enough for two people, with a perfect bathroom. The refrigerator and air conditioner were lifesavers, especially for us traveling in the summer. I also appreciated the kettle with complimentary coffee and tea.
