Large, clean room, quiet despite being on a main street. On site parking was a huge bonus. Easy to get to the airport from the hotel.

It would have been more reassuring if I could have reserved a car parking space in advance. 20 min walk into the old town which was fine but it’s not a very nice walk We had dinner in the restaurant but I’m afraid it wasn’t very good - I expected better given how nice the hotel was

My room was spacious with a wide and comfortable bed. I really liked the swimming pool even though it was small, I still enjoyed it (it has hydrotherapy points). All staff were extremely helpful and friendly, special mention to (Germán and Jesús) but all other reception & bar staff were lovely. I’m happy to have stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again.

It’s a bit of a walk to the nice part of the beach but you can take a taxi (there are also buses but I didn’t stay long enough to figure out bus routes). Housekeeping left my door room open one day, (I got back at 11pm). Luckily I had put my valuables in the safe & nothing was missing. On the plus side, housekeeping ladies were very smiley & nice & always waited for me to leave the room in the afternoon, they were flexible & work around my timings. In general, it’s a nice hotel with pleasant staff.

The rooms were spacious and clean with all required facilities. Linen changed regularly the towels were fine but some more fluffy than others. Gorgeous breakfast room with indoor or outdoor seating. Lots of choice of fresh food for breakfast including hot and cold choices. Although right in front of the port still able to see the nearest beach clearly. 8 minutes walk from train station. Staff friendly yet professional and very helpful. Love location as coming out and walking to the right was local restaurants whilst walking to left was the busy centre with touristy restaurants. Would definitely use again.

Although we had read it didn't feel safe walking from Malaga center to hotel on night we didn't feel unsafe and there were always lots of buses and taxis around. the pool was reasonable size but never enough sun beds.

Absolutely perfect in every way! Hotel Ilunion in Malaga went above and beyond all my expectations. Spotless cleanliness throughout the entire property, with every detail perfectly maintained. The staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and available 24/7 — they truly make you feel like a valued guest. My room was spacious, luxuriously comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. The spa area is pure relaxation heaven, and the breakfast is simply outstanding — abundant, varied, and delicious, with something for everyone. The restaurant and bar serve excellent food and drinks at great prices. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, and if I return to Malaga, I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else!

Our stay was nice and comfortable , the hotel was very clean the beds were comfortable and the staff were very helpful especially the cleaners, the ladies were very kind to us whenever we needed something , the beach was close enough about 10min walk , the swimming pool was nice

We didn't like the fact that the breakfast is not included and we had to pay 15€ each , also the location , there weren't any food shops or places closer and we had to walk quite a bit every time we needed something and it's a bit of a walk to the town centre also other than that the stay in this hotel was brilliant

Stayed at ILUNION Malaga in August. Hotel is clean, and modernly decorated. Staff is friendly and welcoming. There is a bar at hotel with snacks and quick bites. No formal dinning at site however plenty available within few minutes of walking. Hotel has Turkish steam room, Sauna and pool open from 9-9. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served well with plenty of options to choose from. The only thing was it was a bit far from main downtown area, like 25-30 mins walk. Centro historic was ten minutes walk where most of the restaurants are. We enjoyed our visit and will surely return if we visit Malaga again.

The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk from the train station with connections to the airport and various other towns along the Costa del Sol. The historic centre is a 10 minute walk away. The rooms are big and spacious with all the facilities required for a short stay in Malaga. A huge breakfast buffet is available and also the addition of a swimming pool is a bonus.

Ilunion hotel is in a great location, offering beautiful modern rooms with great room and hotel facilities. The pool is great and my husband loved the gym and spa facilities. The breakfast offers every possible choice, amazing tea, coffee and fresh juices available. My husband and our friends all loved it. Ilunion has a great restaurant and bar area where we played card games and ate some of the evenings! I would definitely recommend to family and friends and go back there to stay!!

Could have been more sun loungers but really not important in the grand scheme of things.

Clean, bright and modern, but comfortable too. A little walk from the centre of the old town and marina, but only a 10 to 15 minute stroll; nothing too strenuous. Near to the bus and train station for those who want to travel further afield.

I felt the pictures of the pool facilities were misleading. The pool was on the first floor and was surrounded by the hotel and other high rise buildings so it was shady and only benefited from the sun for approximately 2 hours per day. Also, not many beds available for sun bathing. But it was clean and the gym/spa area was pleasant. Better lighting in the room would have been welcomed but the room was lovely and the bed was fabulously comfy.

Friendly & professional staff, cleanliness, spacious bedroom & bathroom, facilities(gym, sauna, pool), comfortable beds, food ( breakfast) & bar/restaurant, location a few metres from the beach & train station, fridge & kettle in room , huge wardrobes, elegant design & pleasant smell of the foyer, family friendly, secure & safe, good location, lots of seaside restaurants

The harbour view is mostly industrial area, good location but need to know exactly where you want to go as difficult to judge distance by foot so read up before setting out or just request for a cab(reception staff extremely helpful), bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t seem to work? No toilet brush, robes or slippers.
