Hotel Don Paco was an excellent choice for our holiday in Málaga. Both the old town and the newer parts of the city with their sights were within walking distance. Just a stone’s throw away was a shopping center with an affordable and diverse grocery store, as well as restaurants and various other shops. The area in general had plenty of stores, from tobacco shops to supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping malls. Thanks to the hotel’s great location, we never once needed a taxi, bus, or any other transportation while exploring the center of Málaga. The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful – cheerful, friendly, and very good English speakers. Housekeeping was also very punctual, and it was always nice to return to a clean room. Even though the traffic was sometimes busy at night, we were still able to rest and sleep well in our room. A big extra plus for the very effective and adjustable air conditioning! I have to say that the price and quality really matched in this hotel – we definitely got great value for our money. Thank you, Hotel Don Paco – my spouse and I will definitely stay with you again the next time if we come to Málaga. Or should I say… when we come Malaga again!

The staff was very friendly, they were always kind and helpful. Everyone at the reception desk as well as the ladies at the breakfast and the cleaning staff. The room was a really good size, as well as the bathroom with all you need for a comfortable stay. Double curtains on the windows, so you can sleep better if you wish. The view from my room was of the city so I enjoyed it very much. The air conditioning was operating great. I also loved breakfast, coffee was really good, and there was a good selection of food and drinks for breakfast. A nice and cozy eating area. They even kept my luggage for hours after my check out because I went for another day trip before leaving Malaga. I would definitely come back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which was about 2 or 3 mins walk from the train station. It seemed to be quite new, and was kept exceptionally clean. It also seemed quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were happy with the breakfast selection - breads, cereal, some hot items, a little fruit. We certainly had enough to keep us going for a few hours!

Our room looked over an internal courtyard and was quite dark. There is not much that can be done about that, however! It was just one of those things, and was not a major problem.

Great location, wonderful staff I appreciated the location, as the hotel is within walking distance of the main train terminal in Malaga, bus routes, and the city center. It's also easy getting to/from the airport, as you don't have to deal with traffic in the historic city center area. The staff was fantastic. Jose Luis was so helpful during my check-in. He even helped me park in the underground lot across the street. The value for money is great. You get more than what you pay for. I was thoroughly pleased with my choice to stay at Hotel Don Paco.

The hotel can be a bit noisy, but I had no issues sleeping or focusing. Go in with the right expectations, and you'll have a lovely stay.

Our priority as a hotel with close proximity to the train station and easy access to the airport as we were only staying overnight. It was clean, the room spacious and has good lighting and windows for natural light. We were facing onto the main road of a busy junction but traffic noise for us is not a problem. Not sure if that would be a problem in the height of the summer. We specifically chose it for its location got the train station so were aware of its surroundings. Front of house reception are friendly and welcoming and it feels like a no frills hotel that is well located for travellers.

There is nothing we didn’t like for a very reasonably priced overnight on our way back to the airport. It was a bed night for us and with a cost of €76 for the night without breakfast we were not expecting anything. That said, we were pleasant surprised by what we got as we have paid a lot more on other trips for far inferior rooms and facilities. It might not be suitable for a longer stay however.

Location. New refurbished bedrooms and bathrooms with powerful shower. Spotlessly clean throughout. Well maintained. Small hotel but very efficient. Nice staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was reasonable for 3* and always well stocked up.

Some rooms (not ours) are internal ones with only atrium light. This could be a problem.

We loved everything about this hotel. From the convenient location next to the train station (your trip from/to the airport will only cost a few euros) to the nice clean room, friendliest staff and quite decent breakfast (unlike other hotels in Spain this one serves eggs, sausages, some beans in addition to the regular cold buffet which is not super rich but does the job).

Everything was perfect. Please be prepared that hotel is located on a busy street, so if you are light sleepers you may be better off with interior room. Those rooms do not have windows to the outside though, so we specifically contacted beforehand to ask for exterior room and it was the right choice for us.

Decent sized room for the price and location. Very handy for the train station but also walkable into the centre and the beaches (both around 20 minutes away). Bedroom was modern and comfortable. Staff at reception were helpful.

There were some issues with the water pressure in our bathroom during the stay - at some points the water would completely go off and then burst back on again. Our room was also not reachable using the elevator which was inconvenient with a large case, although it seemed like most of the other rooms were. We didn't really need the AC during our stay, however we noticed it produced a strange chemical smell if you turned it on.

I liked the location being closed to the train station,bus station ,15 minutes to the beach,,20 minutes to the City Center .the modern rooms and design of the hotel .The staff were very nice ,professionist ,kind and always ready to help . The breakfast was good with everything for each needs and it is between 7,30-11 o'clock longer than owther hotels .

The room does not have a balcony .If you come from the beach and you need to dry the swiming suits or to put something to dry it is impossible to do it . It is a must for a fridge in the room.It is a hot town and the liquids needs to stay cold ,plus sometimes maybe we want some cold fruits as well. I prefer a double bed (or a nice topper on the twins) when I am with my partner.When I travel with my best friend the twins are perfect.

From the moment I entered the hotel I liked the smell of cleanliness. The room was spotless and the bed and pillow were extremely comfortable. Staff was great especially David who was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, a good variety of things to eat. There's a very nice lounge area too. Location was perfect, 5 mins walk from train/bus station, Larios shopping mall and reasonable walking distance to a park, port, beach and main centre area. Loved my stay here ☺
