The location is great, just outside the city centre. It has dedicated parking which always had an empty space for our car and thanks to the location it was really easy to access as a tourist. The staff was always welcoming and helpful with everything. The property had a small gym and a small pool. The gardens were also a nice touch.

The room itself smelled badly, like old and humid furniture. The bathroom had an opaque glass door which was horrible when travelling with a friend. The beds were very cheap for a 5 star hotel, just a bed base (somier) with legs that was sliding on the floor when using the headboard. The services were 5 star, but the room itself not so much.

Great location, the area during the night was so quiet and the sound from the cathedral made the morning very special.

If you get used to a healthy breakfast, the options are limited. I didn’t have the breakfast included in the rate and the lady from the lady from the breakfast area didn’t allow me to charge it to the room and said to pay immediately. I explained that I was going to pack and do a check out within a minute, but i was told to pay. The machine wasn’t working so we had to go to the reception. I spent 10 mins in a queue, instead of packing and almost missed the train. I would advise to let that lady know that if you’re paying €400 for the room, you will highly likely pay €30 for the breakfast as well ;)

I stayed here on numerous occasions and it is always a true pleasure to come back . Karel the night manager is a real gentleman and allocated us also this time in very nice rooms although we checked in well after midnight The rooms are homes away from home and the breakfast is an absolute delight . The staff goes well above and beyond the call of duty and one feels truly valued as a guest.

A slight incident during check out threw a shadow over our stay. The rooms had been paid in advance. Yet my colleague was charged for his room again when he wanted to pay for the extras he used. The young clark at reception refused to look up the original reservation and kept on repeating that everything was alright. Fortunately for us his female supervisor looked into it when she became available and returned the extra payment to my colleague's credit card instantaneously apologizing for the inconvenience and the wait. No harm done

Main entrance was hard to find with mobile map but it’s easy once you know where it is. Breakfast offered a good variety of options but not extravagant. Staffs were very friendly and accommodating on reasonable requests. Room size is big when compared to a European hotel room.

Room was stuffy because HVAC not working. Just fan circulating still air so room was quite warm. No vent in bathroom so steam remained after shower which contributed to an even warmer room. Window does open but insect can fly in because there is no window mesh. However, if all lights are off, window can remain open without attracting flying insects while room cools off since it’s 5C outside at night.

We very much liked this hotel. Our room was big and they provided us a quite room on an upper floor, as per our wish. Super nice receptionists and. I particularly liked the X-Mas decoration, natural material decently placed. We could easily walk to the historic city center (cathedral and the tapas bars etc.). Also a very good starting point to explore Galicia from here. Breakfast was great and varied.

Nothing to complain. We were completely happy with this hotel and would come back anytime. We can only recommend this hotel - try to stay longer than just one or two nights, it is worth it.

Spacious rooms and property. The restaurant and service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff

They played canned American music constantly. Like 1940’s jazz and it took away from the fact that we were in Spain. Some improvements could be more lounges in the garden with cuishons

Everything went wonderfully. My daughter and I were very impressed with the level of the hotel as well as the treatment we received from the extremely attentive staff. Had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and it was the highlight of our stay, definitely beyond what we expected (that in a Country known for its exquisite and varied cuisine).

Room in fairly traditional style - all wooden beams & floors: reds and yellow decor. Comfortable well appointed and reasonably spacious room. All staff exceptionally keen to provide good service. Public areas nice and very well maintained. Good location - 7 mins walk from central square.

Breakfast ok but a little limited. Not the best value. Dinner good value.

All the staff in the hotel across all departments, including in the breakfast room, restaurant, Cocktail lounge were professional, attentive, friendly and helpful. Even a member of staff in the breakfast room sincerely apologise to us for the language of another customer. The front desk staff including the concierge were outstanding in their welcome, willingness to help and to sort out taxis etc for us. We had some unusually requests, them storing large cardboard bike boxes until our return 7 days later, helping us move bikes and bike boxes around the hotel. Staff did not bat and eyelid at these requests and they all supported us with great enthusiasm and positivity. On our second visit, seven days later we were again welcomed with conviviality. The hotel itself is like an oasis with views of the Catedral from its well manicured gardens and within easy walking distance from the old parts of the city. It was our most favourite hotel over our two week trip on the Camino.

Range of meals in the restaurant could be better offering more variety.

Taxi ordered with late notice (on my part) for early morning and hotel relationship with taxi company were able to fulfil my late notice booking. So grateful. The hotel is in a quiet area and with walking shoes a comfortable distance from the main area of town. Wonderful walk options to town around 10-15min walk through large park, to either side of Cathedral. Good location for upscale hotel

Nothing bad to add. We were fine to go to town for breakfast. Coffee available in room. We didn't purchase hotel breakfast during our stay
