Location excellent, staff amazing, very good breakfast. Beautifully decorated . Entertainment next to bar was of an excellent standard. A very special hotel. Burladero restaurant was fantastic and at good price

Not a problem for us but Shower was inside bath - had a step to help you get in as quite high. Unable to turn shower on before getting in. Did not fit in with the rest of the high standard of hotel

-Location downtown, walking distance to all major tourist attractions -Staff are very service minded and helpful all over the place -Roomservice and laundry service high standard -Breakfast very good quality of produce -Hotel restaurant burladero is excellent All in all the hotel meets the expectations of a 5 star hotel

-Small desk in room, should be bigger for 5 star - Close to a church (literally same building), be aware that 9 AM these bells will wake you up -Bath tube- to sharp edges that you can easily cut on if you are not careful - A few member of staff need english training (80% was very good, but some missunderstanding at breakfast, minor thing though)

Everything really. Bedroom was really well appointed and comfortable; the bars and restaurant were very well staffed and welcoming with excellent menus; the health suit with small pool, steam and sauna rooms and fitness area were clean and easily accessible; the situation in the old town gave easy access to nearly every top attraction. Staff were all delightful, unobtrusive and yet readily available and helpful so all-in-all about perfect.

Possibly the only slight short coming was the access to our shower was ‘in bath’ and I as an older traveler found that a tad difficult.

It is an excellent hotel, but not anymore with the 5* glory it had in the past. The new sitting area on the ground floor is an improvement. Regretfully the new bar in the hall lacks sitting room.

When we arrived, both a recepcionist and concierge were looking at us hauling suitcases up the stairs. In the past they would have come out to help. The double beds are comfortable, but due to time used, have an inclination to the side. The new scheme of breakfast seems to gave divided the guests in firstclass guests and secondclass guests. The breakfast in the basement restaurant is clearly not as good as in the ground level hall.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Very accommodating. Very nice reception area. Flamenco show at weekends. Great location, very central, within walking distance to most major attractions and areas.

Rooms and bathroom are very old/ outdated worn. Does not really feel like a 5 star hotel room. Shower/ bath in room I stayed in drained very slowly so ended up standing in a pool of water. Breakfast was nice but have to order certain items including eggs/ hot food/ teas and coffees. Staff were lovely but very busy at times meaning had to wait at times to submit order. Would prefer buffet or self service options for hot items.

Gym was out of action - had to take lift to 5th floor and then walk up 2 floors through construction work , with part uplifted carpets etc - better to just cordon off the whole area !

This hotel exceeded all my expectations! Its excellent location within walking distance of major attractions made exploring the area effortless. The breakfast options, including an incredible buffet and à la carte menu, were delightful and catered to all tastes. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were immaculate, well-equipped, and designed for ultimate comfort. From the service to the amenities, every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure a top-tier experience. Truly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at—I can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to others!

Room was beautiful and all the little extra’s (comb, razor, toothbrushes, nail file etc) were very much appreciated. The layout was superb, not only did it flow beautifully but it was well thought out. From the lights in the wardrobe coming on when the doors and draws were open, to the small night light in the bathroom that gave out just enough glow so lights were not needed on any night time trip to the loo. Decent hairdryer, separate loo. Plenty of wardrobe space, lots of lovely hangers. Plenty of nibble and drinks in the mini bar. We could have lived there quite easily!

They had a red service for guests in certain rooms, obviously this was more expensive but I found it uncomfortable. Went for breakfast and found I was in the red area and was told I had to go downstairs to the standard dining.

Beautiful hotel, excellent customer service from the moment you arrive from lovely and attentive staff. A glass of fizz on arrival whilst checking in was a lovely touch! Beautiful decor throughout the hotel and the location is perfect and central for exploring the city. It was my mums 60th birthday whilst we were there and they went above and beyond to bring a bottle of Prosecco and cake to the room which again is a really lovely touch.

Honestly everything was amazing, if I was being really picky I’d say it would be nice to have a bit more variety at breakfast but that’s only me, the breakfast was very nice

Excellent location to walk to various touristic points. The hotel lobby, bar, reception and breakfast area are gorgeous and very well maintained. Breakfast is amazing, plenty of options and high quality. Very attentive staff in all areas. We had a problem in our room on the second day and it was promptly resolved. I loved that we had some treats in the room when arriving very late at night, such a touching gesture. I also had a facial in the SPA and couldn’t recommend highly enough. We ate often at the hotel restaurants and always had a great experience. The flamenco show at the hotel was also brilliant, specially if you are with kids and can’t go for night outs.

The rooftop pool and area is quite small. Not a problem for us, as we were heading to the beach, but something to be considered if spending time at the pool is important for you. The standard family room is small. We got an upgrade to two interconnected rooms and it was a lot more comfortable.
