The location of the hotel was good, a thirty minute walk into the centre of Torremolinos and just a short ten minute walk to the port at Benalmadena. The pool area was really nice with plenty of sun beds and a nice sea view. We stayed half board, the first time we’ve done this and the quality of the buffet breakfast and dinner was excellent. Our room was on the second floor in the annexe and it was a spacious comfortable place to stay. In particular we were really impressed with the staff at the hotel, the service was excellent and everyone member of staff we engaged with was friendly and helpful. The entertainment on the Saturday evening was an il Divo tribute duet and to be fair they were excellent. This was the first time we’ve stayed half board in a hotel with entertainment, we do like to eat out in the resort and do some self catering as well. However, although we don’t think we’d regularly stay in a half board hotel, after our positive experience, it is something we would now consider on occasions for a few nights in the future and we would certainly stay at the Riu Nautilus again.

We paid a little extra and booked a side sea view. Our room was 224 and to be honest you really couldn’t see other than a glimpse of the sea, due to the view being almost totally blocked by the palm trees. As mentioned earlier there were plenty of sun beds, but not all are in the sun. It was really annoying that people still think it’s okay to put towels down first thing in the morning and then turn up, when they choose to use. One couple put towels down first thing in a prime sunny position, but then didn’t turn up for three hours to use the beds. I really think staff should be removing towels when people do this.

Staff in general were helpful and very friendly. All those I met at reception desk and bar at different times were exceedingly helpful. Cleaning staff were excellent also. Very good selection of food. Large dining area, so very easy to get a table despite the large number of guests. Plenty of staff on duty at mealtimes. Outdoor area is lovely. The snack bar is very nice and the staff there are very pleasant and attentive also. The hotel is in a great location and is spotlessly clean everywhere. My room was thoroughly cleaned and left perfect every day. Really nice bathroom and good shower.

In the evenings my room felt a bit cold and I needed extra covers on my bed. Some of the hot food at breakfast wasn’t very hot. Not a fan of the purple colour scheme and lavender chairs in reception and bar…. but that’s a small detail.

Location. Value for money. Very clean. Good food, Great waiting staff. Good sized room

The room was far too hot, I hadn't been well, so we phoned down at 12 50 am to ask for a fan as we couldn't sleep and was told it's winter in Spain we have no fans, laughed and put phone down, complained in the morning to the manger his customer service skills were none existent, everything else about the hotel I praised, but to have no sleep is a problem, but again was told it is winter in Spain, open the door if your too hot, smiled and walked away, end of. Take your own fan!!!

Great hotel in a beautiful location. Nice and helpful staff, friendly and helpful. Even though it was off season, hotel was full. Breakfast was amazing, rich with a lot of options, fruit, meals for vegetarian, fish and meat. Similarly for the dinner, we enjoyed our experience. We had an issue with noise in neighbour room late at night, hotel staff solved the problem effectively. Thank you, we will keep recommending the hotel to our friends.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent. Nice selection of food, as well as high food quality which is always great aspect of traveling to Spain. The coffee was average which is kinda expected - there are multiple coffee shops around the place for those who wants something better. Since it's an adults only hotel, the place is really calm and quiet except the designated zones like restaurants and bars. Majority of the guests are older people which are usually nice and friendly.

We are very pleased with our stay. Wonderful hotel, with a beautiful view of the beach! Everywhere was clean and well furnished. There were plenty of places to relax both inside and outside. Nice and clean rooms and very friendly staff! The food is awesome, there is everything your heart desires, huge variety of veg, fruit, meat and desserts! The hotel is well located for walking. We would happily recommend a holiday at this hotel!

Excellent breakfat and buffet dinner...Great pool (once you broke the ice off). While I prefer the airport (east) end of Torremolinos as available well ahead of schedule.this hotel is right on the beach with good access to sea, beach and promenade. There was a kettle and coffee/tea in the room but it would have been nice to have real coffee and the milk was powdered.

Nothing was a problem for the staff. We arrived late due to weather and they had food ready as we had missed dinner. Night porter was friendly which was what we needed after being delayed. We used the Spa which was very reasonable. Nice location if you like to go for a walk either to Belamadina port or into Torramilinos for shopping.

Everything i was well looked after and the food was amazing!

Where my room was in the basement I got constant noise from the boiler,or similar machinery.I would book an upper floor room next time to avoid this.The towels supplied were too thin and too small.Not up to four star standards but this could be easily fixed with better towels

The breakfast was very good. The evening meal was average. Loved the pool and the outside cafe/bar. Brilliant location and view. Exceptionally clean. I would absolutely recommend and stay here again

Free drinking water would have been good. The shower pressure was dreadful, just a small trickle
