Every staff member here seems to want to be here and are not just here as a job. From check in to restaurant to spa to wine tasting everyone is extremely caring and want to make the stay the best possible Food was delicious and huge portions. Wine is different which makes it a really good experience and not like everywhere else. Spa was brilliant and very relaxing. They are very particular about privacy in the spa so you actually land up getting a very private space for the time booked. Very thoughtful If you are in the area I would highly recommend at least a night stay. You will leave feeling like a princess/ prince when you leave as that's how much effort the staff put in.

Beautiful old property, rooms huge and so clean and comfortable. Wine tasting was an added bonus. Food was excellent, including a number of choices for us as vegetarians. Staff very helpful aha all times.

Nothing except the lack of accessibility via public transport . Taxis to Salamanca are €25 each way so we couldn’t pop back and forth and our hire car was messed up so we were on public transport. This also meant that we couldn’t do the walks we had hoped for as there are only ones along the road from Zorita. The stroll to Valverdon is pleasant however and we discovered a municipal outdoor pool there which was pleasant surprise as it is a tiny village with minimal facilities.

Good lighting and effective Air Con. Tiny safe, minibar, hairdryer. Coffee machine but no kettle

VILLA TERRACE needs an upgrade as although the privacy is great, it’s slightly claustrophobic with the dark panelling. Decking sun beds are uncomfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay! Probably our favourite couples retreat. The wine tasting was great, George our host was so lovely and gave us a great experience. The massage was also great. It’s a shame you don’t get jacuzzi or spa access without paying extra. The grounds on a sunny day, sitting outside with a wine was amazing. The rooms are lovely and the staff are so attentive. Breakfast was great, they even have mimosas. The hot eggs, fruit and yogurts and also gluten free selection was fab. I would highly recommend and we would definitely return.

There was noise throughout the night in the room above, it felt like someone was moving furniture. This of course might not have been anything to do with the hotel. The shower was a little too old school for my liking. Such a stunning authentic room and view but the shower felt way too dated and small and the shower curtain felt like it was touching. The restaurant is gorgeous, but the food really let it down. The steak and the burger wasn’t great, the croquettes were lovely though and the wine and staff. No iron in the rooms, you have to pay for iron service so someone does it for you.

I love this place - it was not the first time I stayed there and I'll definitely come back again. This time we were traveling by car from Madrid to Porto and stayed in Hacienda Zorita, which is somehow in the middle, for a night. We stayed in the main building and it was perfect - over the water, very peaceful. The 1st floor has a lovely lounge area with the fireplace. The breakfast is amazing - with the freshest local food.

I feel the staff could have some additional training in coordination and communication, but otherwise we loved everything!

This was truly a great hotel, food was excellent and great choices on the buffet and menus for dinner. I would have preferred to have a shower only room due to a disability but we managed. your staff were excellent and very, very helpful. My family loved it and my granddaughter and niece who stayed with you previously highly recommended your hotel/resort. We will be back. Thank you, and thanks to your staff.

A shower instead of a bath tub due to a disability

The place looks amazing. So nice to transform the historical building into a luxurious chic Spa hotel but without being too pretentious. Personnel will do their best to make you feel at home. If you look at the old photos of the building before renovation you see how cleverly to transformed the place beautiful. The wines, cheese and condiments they sell are vey nice and we loved the wine tasting. Also the call upfront our stay. Clever.

It is an huge old building and not easy to maintain spotless, so here and there it could have been better cleaned or fixed but it will not take away your feel for the beauty of the place. Shower in a bath with a curtain is not very comfortable, but some might enjoy a bath in the beautiful bathroom. We fully enjoyed our room with terrace at the main building with a nice view.

The staff were delightful and very helpful getting us a taxi into the centre of beautiful Salamanca - which is now our favourite city in Spain. The room (on two levels with two bathrooms) was amazing. We really enjoyed the food and drink (and the wine tasting!), the Spa, and the storks!

We had been caught by the nation-wide power cut when we were in Toledo, so it was a bit worrying to have a local power cut at the hotel! But the staff were very kind so that we were not too affected.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel and felt incredibly special thanks to the attentive and welcoming staff. From the fabulous spa to an unforgettable wine tasting experience, every moment was exceptional. We cherished our time here and only wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast very good choice including freshly cooked eggs of your choice. Lunch was very good. Wine as expected was up to a good standard. Dinner menu good and no complaints about quality. Room was spacious with good privacy even outside. Wine tasting was informative and enjoyable.

Nothing we didn't like - the room could have been slightly more elegant and preference would have been for a shower unit in preference to shower over bath but this is nitpicking in the context of the nature of the property and its tasteful conversion into a hotel.
