No breakfast. Room was not only very close to the pool but much more spacious than most "King" sized rooms I have stayed in. Maids came in every day, cleaned, made the bed and switched out towels. Office staff was inordinately kind and helpful.

Beautiful 55" Samsung TV in room. No instructions on how to use the strange little non-Samsung remote, and when you turned on the TV you only got 5 - 10 minutes of clear picture. After that the picture would pixelate and you'd lose the connection to the internet and you'd have to turn off the tv and start all over again. To watch a movie you'd have to repeat this process at least 12 times and for a TV show or the news you'd repeat the process 6 times. The company providing the internet service did not have a guide channel so, if you wanted to see what was on tv, you had to scan through the entire lineup.

Great value at just under 100 per night. The rooms are immaculately clean (the housekeeping staff is awesome) and the AC units in the rooms BLAST cold air. Don’t even need the fridge in the room, just leave the AC on and you’re good. John at the front desk is the man too! Always in a good mood and knows the area well for pointers on certain places or things to do. I’d stay here again anytime!

The location and staff. We moved at of California, but when we come back, we found it more economical to utilize short term housing and this place makes a great alternative to renting. We all know that if you rent for even 6 months, you still have to surrender a moths rent worth of a deposit, and live the the smell, and the headache of a freshly painted apartment, with none other that the value brand at Lowe's. Oh I know a lot of people that are trying to get out of their leases and go with temporary housing. People have also asked me "why don't I do Airbnb", when we did for a month, out of 31 days, 3 days consisted of no water. There was also no heater and they had a major pest problem at times. We were so pleased to move out of there and into the Travel Lodge here in Costa Mesa The staff is very nice, caring and make checking in and extending easy! They are probably the best staff in the area, they are very helpful and really, we want to have pizzas deliver to them some night for being so awesome. We also want to always tip and give the cleaning staff hostess cupcakes for going above and beyond when they clean. This place literally blow alway extend stay America and Comfort inn and suites COMBINED! This hotel and it's staff truly values your business, and they show that by setting a new standard in service!

The only thing I don'tike are the one direction streets in the area, but nothing in regard to the hotel or it's staff

The location was close enough in walking distance to enough retail food, although we didn't need to use it. The bed was roomy and comfortable with just the right amount of "blanketing". The bathroom was roomy and well laid out - glad you had a fan, since there was no bathroom window. Enough counter space for him and her stuff. The parking was close to our room and the fact that we had a first floor room was extra nice, since we're older and not having to carry goods up the stairs made it much safer for us AND convenient. (I'm not sure, if your receptionist keeps the age of the customers in mind, when making room arrangements - if so, KUDOS!)

The lobby could use some remodeling/sprucing up - maybe new furniture and/or a fresh coat of paint. It seemed dank, when I went in. Otherwise, it was clean and neat!

Very large screen tv in room, coffee maker, refrig, microwave,, pool, hot tub. Nice bath with good water pressure in shower. There is even a small coin laundry on site.

The towels were thin and coarse. . Pump bottles of soap and shampoo mounted on shower wall with no soap on sink.

It was immaculately clean and the rooms smelled nice on arrival and after room service. One of the first things I notice when checking into a hotel

I don’t even think you can mark this as a negative because I wouldn’t expect every place to have this anyway, but you can’t do screen mirroring from your phone on the TVs, first world problems.

Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, it was quiet. Pub up the road had good food, plenty of parking.

In the booking it said that there was a continental breakfast available, but there was no breakfast available, only tea and coffee. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it and the jacuzzi was empty and there was a tape around it stating that it was not operational.

Clean and not too far from the beach. The jacuzzi worked and was clean. The beds were made, and the room was cleaned and organized when we arrived. Don’t let the bad reviews fool you. Oct 14th.

Zero. You get what you pay for usually but this was nice. Staff is nice.

Quiet room, clean and the evening receptionist perfect and welcoming

Hopefully the morning receptionist be better to welcome the guests, I stayed twice but I saw same thing not welcoming morning receptionist and seems that she doesn’t like to help you as Travelodge guest

The gentleman that helped me Bob, was very polite, and professional and went out of his way to make sure that I got into my room right away; and made sure that my wife received her key upon arrival. Debra was very patient and understanding at check out. Kudos to your staff trainers...
