The location and staff. We moved at of California, but when we come back, we found it more economical to utilize short term housing and this place makes a great alternative to renting. We all know that if you rent for even 6 months, you still have to surrender a moths rent worth of a deposit, and live the the smell, and the headache of a freshly painted apartment, with none other that the value brand at Lowe's. Oh I know a lot of people that are trying to get out of their leases and go with temporary housing. People have also asked me "why don't I do Airbnb", when we did for a month, out of 31 days, 3 days consisted of no water. There was also no heater and they had a major pest problem at times. We were so pleased to move out of there and into the Travel Lodge here in Costa Mesa The staff is very nice, caring and make checking in and extending easy! They are probably the best staff in the area, they are very helpful and really, we want to have pizzas deliver to them some night for being so awesome. We also want to always tip and give the cleaning staff hostess cupcakes for going above and beyond when they clean. This place literally blow alway extend stay America and Comfort inn and suites COMBINED! This hotel and it's staff truly values your business, and they show that by setting a new standard in service!

The only thing I don'tike are the one direction streets in the area, but nothing in regard to the hotel or it's staff

The location was close enough in walking distance to enough retail food, although we didn't need to use it. The bed was roomy and comfortable with just the right amount of "blanketing". The bathroom was roomy and well laid out - glad you had a fan, since there was no bathroom window. Enough counter space for him and her stuff. The parking was close to our room and the fact that we had a first floor room was extra nice, since we're older and not having to carry goods up the stairs made it much safer for us AND convenient. (I'm not sure, if your receptionist keeps the age of the customers in mind, when making room arrangements - if so, KUDOS!)

The lobby could use some remodeling/sprucing up - maybe new furniture and/or a fresh coat of paint. It seemed dank, when I went in. Otherwise, it was clean and neat!

Very large screen tv in room, coffee maker, refrig, microwave,, pool, hot tub. Nice bath with good water pressure in shower. There is even a small coin laundry on site.

The towels were thin and coarse. . Pump bottles of soap and shampoo mounted on shower wall with no soap on sink.

Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, it was quiet. Pub up the road had good food, plenty of parking.

In the booking it said that there was a continental breakfast available, but there was no breakfast available, only tea and coffee. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it and the jacuzzi was empty and there was a tape around it stating that it was not operational.

The gentleman that helped me Bob, was very polite, and professional and went out of his way to make sure that I got into my room right away; and made sure that my wife received her key upon arrival. Debra was very patient and understanding at check out. Kudos to your staff trainers...

No breakfast

Location was good, convinient to walk to restaurants, shopping. Pool was decent and the hot tub.

The room was smelling like somebody used to much lysol or some other cleaning products, it was pretty intense, there are so many odorless cheap cleaning products. Please consider to use them. Not everyone likes the smell of the chemicals.

It's very clean and comfy kinda hotel. The cleaning lady's are very nice and fun to talk to I like that they help you when you need more time to pay or your not home at the moment to pay. Front desk people are very nice and helpful and very respectful to others.

I didn't like that the prices went up And I can't afford the rooms

We have been coming to this place for years we have went to 2 other place but the kids love this place and so do we. Location relaxing great staff

So bring back the breakfast bar not only was it because you got that breakfast but because that's where people associated and we visited other than in the pool and the kids missed it and I missed it bring back the breakfast bar

Website Says it includes breakfast.... they have not had it since covid.... someone needs to update the site. Some of us plan our trip around hotels that serve meals in the morning. Unexpected added expense...in So Cal.. not cheap. Also.. no flavored creamer.

Neat and tidy. The front desk staff, John, is always very nice and helpful. He is very accommodating.

The use of the extraordinarily strong chemicals in cleaning the room. The smell of the room reeks of unbearable chemical odor which is hazardous to the health of seniors especially those with COPD.
