Left Bank location was excellent, a feeling of safety, and very friendly. As well as the intellectual history that attracted me. We don’t speak French but tried and this seemed to be appreciated by all we came in constant with even with our many faux pas. Many lovely locations close at hand, easy transport options and great cafes and restaurants close by for a wide range of food choices. Front of house security and reception were great. Very accomodating if umbrellas were needed and other information.

The standard rooms are fairly small… but as Australians we knew we needed to make allowances for this. A little bit of organisation, and all was well for a 12 night stay … yes it was a long time but very enjoyable. Most rooms seem to be shower over bath and we were happy to be given the option to change rooms after 2 nights to a walk in shower… Just some advice … the stairs are a bit irregular so those with mobility challenges …uneasy on the legs… should take care. And make sure their room is accessible *fully* by lift.

Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing a problem. We love staying in the heart of a city and this spot in St Germain was perfect. Enough hustle and bustle to feel like you were part of things but once you shut the windows it all disappeared. The metro, busses and river bank are only a 2 - 5 min walk away and Notre Dame a leisurely 10 min stroll. Within the street there are numerous restaurants, a small grocery store, a liquor shop and even a Cinema across the road. Our room was also much bigger than most Parisian hotel rooms. Breakfast was simple but filling.

Its not really a criticism but the outside courtyard area could use a facelift. Event though there is frosting on the windows its not great having breakfast looking at it. It could be turned into a lovely outside breakfast area. Apart from that everything else was wonderful.

Excellent location right next to Notre Dame cathedral in a great neighbourhood to start exploring Paris. The staff was great - friendly and helpful. Great communication and advice from all the team members. Special thanks to the breakfast lady who was doing miracles providing freshly-baked breads and croissants and supplying refills while managing to keep the tables clean and in order. Thank you for catering for us. Our room was clean and well-equipped. The reception lady wished us goodbye with a "See you next time" and we will most definitely like to stay at "Eugenie" for our next visit to Paris. And I would without hesitation recommend the place to my friends.

There were less seats available for breakfast than the number of guests. We experienced issues getting seated in "rush" breakfast hours. A bigger dining area would do good to the hotel. Due to the location of the room we were hearing the other people coming down in the morning, so not great isolation of the rooms.

It would have been nice for a *** star hotel to have a little water heater and tea bags/coffee. I was surprised. It is the first *** star hotel in years I have stayed at with no coffee in room. Also, with the number of Americans visiting in Paris and this hotel... why was CNN not available on the TV?? Strange. It is in the perfect location and the person who made up my room everyday did a great job. Nice staff... just the coffeepot thing and CNN really surprised me. The AC was great and needed during these hot days.

Location - Latin Quarter, vibrant neighborhood with many cafes and restaurants, close to Notre Dame / Saint Chapelle; easily accessible by RER train from CDG Airport (and the Paris metro for local travel). The room was comfortable but a bit small. The bathroom and shower were nicely done. The breakfast was very good (no eggs/bacon, but plenty of croissants, yogurts, cheese, and fresh juice and various coffees). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Stairs are narrow and winding but hey, it's Paris and that's very common.

The location is perfect. 5 min walk to Notre Dam and to the RER station which takes you to CDG Airport. There are nice cafes, restaurants and markets nearby. The room was a bit cold when we entered at night, but the AC worked perfectly and heated the room in 5 mins. The staff were really helpful, we stored our luggage after checking out until late evening. We also got a room upgrade when we arrived.

The appliances and the bathroom looks a bit old. The soap dispencer was broken but totally fine.

Excellent location, right next to Notre Dame Cathedral! The neighbourhood has a very nice atmosphere, with many restaurants and bars. The location is unbeatable, with direct acces to RER, metro and buses. The staff is really nice, they had always a smiley for us and gave us all the informations we needed. Although we checked out early în the morning and the breakfast room wasn't open yet, the gentleman from the reception told us we could take away some food and a coffee. The room was quite big for the center of Paris and very clean.

The breakfast was the same every day, it could be a little more diverse.

the location was convenient as i was staying for the Paris Marathon and there were plenty of nearby metro stations and restaurants. the room was lovely and a good size overlooking the street. the breakfast was also very good.

the room got very warm and the Air Conditioning didn't go below 19 degrees meaning we had to open the window, because our room overlooked the street there was a lot of noise meaning it was hard to sleep with the window open if we wanted to be cool.

We had stayed in this hotel before so knew what to expect. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The room was bigger than we remembered. Very clean, comfortable and warm. Option to open the big soundproofed windows was great. Bathroom in our room was slightly more spacious than some hotel bathrooms we’ve had in Paris. The location of this hotel is terrific. Close to sights, restaurants, brasseries and shops.

The location of the lift at the turn of the stairs to the second floor - staircase steps are at an awkward angle. The bath is deep so is a struggle to get in and out of shower. Would be great if tea/coffee making facilities were available in room.
