I went there as I did two years ago: to have a calm and quiet NYs and it was great. They gave me the same room and the view was nice, the staff is friendly, and they allow dogs (I don't have one) which is a nice bonus if you want to avoid fireworks next year. It's close to the city and reachable by public transport, too. :)

The only sad thing was that it took me a while to figure out the bath. But that's fine, I am just a silly guy.

The staff the location breakfast roomservice, great value for you're money. And definitely recommendation to everyone who read this. Im sure that in this month or next year im going to enjoy another stay in this fabulous Hotel Almost a 10 outa 10

I didn't like the single 2 beds and sheets, because as a couple you need the option to slide over and cuddle but with 2 seperate beds its not possible, But nothing bad against this hotel, nine out of 10 Hotel's are using 2 seperate beds instead of 1 double king size bed... So the hotel gets a small 9 rating but if they change some rooms for a single kingsize bed for couples It would be definitely a big 10+!!!

Warm welcome from reception staff during check-in, room and bathroom cleanliness, many parking spots, room 50 is big enough for 3 person

Unclear information in Booking.com whether there is room for 3 person or not. When I reserved using booking.com for 3 person, it was directed to book two rooms. However when I checked in, we found out room 50 has 1 single bed and 1 double bed, which means 3 person could fit into just one room.

Spacious standard room in a very quiet backyard building with small terrace, adjacent to the fields. Shower and toilet in separated areas within the room. Nespresso-style coffee machine. Nice breakfast buffet included. Pleasant restaurant that is very well received by the locals, too.

Rather worn beds (heavily worn headboards) with very soft mattresses. Okay for one night only.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Staff was absolutely friendly and responsive.My first impression was positive as the staff let me check in earlier that what was planned. Lots of parking spaces and easy acces to Gröningen. The bar downstairs was really nice and very fair prices for brand drinks. In the bathroom, there was a jar full of small tubes of shampoo and shower gel. Finally, the breakfast- a buffet with various types of jams, eggs and rolls.. I really recommend this hotel for short stays

The stairs with worn carpet and narrow steps. It would be very difficult for elderly people to walk up- and downstairs

Good secure parking. Easy check in. There was a separate entrance and lift that made it easier to get bags to the room. We had a refrigerator and coffee making facilities in the room which was appreciated. Breakfast was very good including a freshly made omelette. We used the restaurant for our evening meals. They were excellent and good value for money. The hotel was by the main road giving easy access to Groningen but the room was quiet. The staff were good and friendly giving a personal feel to the hotel.

The room was on the small side and the pitched roof was difficult with my height.

Plenty of parking spaces. Informed on arrival that we had been upgraded to Deluxe Twin Room which was amazing (thanks for that). Lovely small patio area overlooking miles of beautiful countryside. Very large room with air con. Very relaxing.

Leaving ! wish we could have stayed longer.

Breakfast was very good, we had a balcony included as well unexpectedly, very big room and friendly staff.

Unfortunately didnt remember to bring soap despite being asked. AC was broken as well and despite asking for this to be fixed they also "forgot" about this.

The staff were very friendly at both the reception and in the restaurant. Very good food both evening and breakfast. Air conditioning in the room was very welcome as it was very hot. There was lots of private parking available with CCTV cameras.

The shower area was incredibly narrow to access even for a smaller person. It was open to the room and water splashed into the room. The toilet again was very small and guests would have difficulty closing the door without banging their knees or feet.

The hotel is nice in every other aspect. Spacious and airy room, hot shower, lovely surroundings, fresh breakfast etc.

Except for the traffic (as our balcony is facing the road) which makes sleeping a bit uneasy at night without closing the windows, and the mattress may be disliked by firm lovers.
