The place was located where was easy to reach. The room was clean. There were free drinks (water, coffe, tea) available 24 hours which was great; free croissants as well. The staff were quite friendly.

If one pays by cash an amount would be blocked on his/her credit card. This was quite inconvenient for the one whose card does not work at that moment for any reason and has cash with himself. In addition, it is inconvenient for who does not have credit card. In my opinion it is pretty easy for them to buy a scanner device to verify the credibility of the cash. The air conditioner was not that efficient as the temperature during last weekend was around 26 degrees.

Perfect for a short stay in transit, as it's right at the train station and you can even exit directly at the Ibis/Mercure hotels (all together in one spot). Room was more comfortable than expected, bigger than expected, and bed was really great and I slept well! The TV is huge, there's English channels, and the little desk was perfect to do some light work on. The bathroom is fully integrated in the room though, which is fine alone and they provide block out blinds for the window. Sound-proofing was excellent too, I never heard the street outside. Breakfast was simple yet gave me what I needed (fresh pastries, baguette, cheese/meats, yoghurt, fruit, coffee, boiled eggs) but better quality than expected for the price. Staff were helpful with my arrival, tips, and storing luggage securely when I needed it. Overall, I would stay here again when transiting through Lyon!

If you want to do sightseeing, it's a decent walk (though all flat) or expect to take a bus. The best feature of this hotel is its access to the train station for long-distance trains. Also, not a show-stopper but be aware that with ordering an Uber, you have to find a spot somewhere down the street as there's no normal car access to the front of the hotel.

Rooms were clean and functional. Tv was a good size. But the best thing was how it is literally next to the train station. Perfect for us as we went onward to Bourg St. Maurice the next day. Well connected to old town too. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Some shampoo/soap in the shower - although maybe there was some I can’t quite remember Rooms were too warm and the windows should be allowed to open a lot further! A guest needs greater control over their room temperature because it can be hard to sleep in a room that is too stuffy and warm.

Excellent location just next to the Gare Dieu Lyon rail station. Short walk to Westfield to get the Lyon Pass redeemed. The Rhone express Stop to and from Airport only5 mins walk. Bus and tram stops are 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is clean and has a great dining area and lots of complimentary stuff including a great coffee machine and juices as well as Croissants till late morning. Staff are excellent and very helpful, Very good value for money especially when we visited during the high season/ Olympics time

Rooms were small but it is nothing compared to the facilities provided otherwise.

I needed to send the hotel a large package a few day ahead of my arrival. This was no problem at all for the staff who kindly sent me an email to say it had been safely received and stored. A competitor wanted to charge a daily fee of €15 for the same service! I travelled by bikes and the bike storage cage was very secure and thoughtfully the hotel had left a trak pump there for guest use. A track pump is too heavy for cyclists to carry but super necessary to get the right tyre pressure. Every hotel should provide one for cyclists but very few do. Thank you!

Location of the hotel is excellent right on the Part Dieu station. Central street with a lot of food options around. Rooms though tiny, were very clean and comfortable. Wifi could have been better and so I recommend for the breakfast menu. But ideal for travelling to and from Lyon for work or pleasure.

This was a really good place to stay! I expected "budget" accommodations because of the name, but the room was large and clean, with good lighting. The bed was large and comfortable, with big pillows. There were plenty of clean, good-quality towels. I was truly surprised at the quality of the room. And it was only a 2-minute walk from Lyon Part-Dieu Station. I was only there for one night but wished I had been staying longer.

Check-in took a long time because the family ahead of me was making a reservation. But the lovely young woman was friendly and spoke excellent English.

As we were only staying one night with an early train departure next morning, this was the perfectly located hotel. Quiet and effective aircon during the heat wave, very quiet, comfy bed - staff were brilliant. Even though breakfast didn’t officially start until 6.00am there was no problem with having it earlier.

Everything was great, some people might like to have a fridge in the room - but it didn’t matter to us.

Location very near train, metro, buses, carrefour, mall Walkable to Aldi and lidl Staff will lock door - feels more secure they will Buzz u in after u ring the bell- prevents others fm following u in or gg in inappropriately Showers good pressure and warm immediately TV w cable too!

Friendly staff, smooth check in and out, everything is within walking distance or can be reached from the train station easily. Breakfast was good, but more selection would be appreciated. Definitely coming back sometime!

It would be nice to have a hairdryer in every room (right now you need to ask from the reception)
