Convenient location; good value, especially for the area; room surprisingly quiet - no traffic noise; other restaurants close by (we went to Pizza Express); friendly guy on reception; room was cool and the duvet not too heavy for a hot August day/night; we discovered that there is a little playground and a pleasant walk at the back of the hotel

Like most hotels, you can hear when people are leaving their rooms because it is difficult to close the fire doors quietly and in this instance there were quite a lot of guests leaving very early in the morning (3am/4am), presumably because they were off to Heathrow or Gatwick.

Great foyer with lots of facilities and small bar. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was very quiet which we asked for and it was overlooking the pond at the back. It was nice and clean, the temperature was lovely and cool which we appreciated as it was a hot day. With an extensive restaurant of their own as well as the countless options at the Services next door - you're spoilt for choice. Staff on our departure were also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again and happy to recommend to others.

Only having a shower rather than a bath but that is getting to be the common thing nowadays in hotels so I just have to get used to it

Always a pleasure to stay here. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice TV and tea/coffee, ironing board and iron, lovely breakfast and space, friendly staff, pleasant bar in the foyer, great shops (M&S) and restaurants (Nando's) next door, one of very few hotels in the region. Very good value for money, and it was easy to book!

The many fire doors with all our luggage, especially with an elderly person, and long walk to the rooms. It was a freezing night, so I felt a bit cold. If you don't have a car, it can be expensive to travel around in the area with Uber etc. But all in all this is a very nice hotel, highly recommended.

Everything was lovely and clean, and the corridors smelt lovely. The beds are super comfy. The shower is good, although the shower enclosure is a bit small. I travel to Leatherhead periodically, and this is my go-to stay

The food was abysmal. The receptionist was very proud to announce that the new menu had been released the day before. I had the cheeseburger, chips, and salad. I got a couple of sachets of mayo and poured them out, and they were so old that the oil had actually separated; it smelt off, so I couldn't eat the chips or the salad. I tried the burger—the bottom of the bun was raw and doughy. Overall, it was such a disappointment. I also had to wait nearly half an hour to order and an hour for food. To give context, there were nine people in the restaurant!

Most things were perfect and the lady that checked me out on reception on leaving was pretty amazing. I was entirely stressed and she showed compassionate and was outstanding. The customer care she gave was second to none. Please pass on my thanks to her.

The room was a long way from reception, which being Christmas with lots of heavy bags was difficult as there were several doors which had to be pulled open but in normal circumstances would be fine. There was a fan/ventilation system that was rather noisy and this unfortunately did keep me awake for much of the night. I had requested a quiet room. I can't recall the ventilation system being this noisy on my last visit. However this would not deter me from staying again.

Location for where was visiting was very good. Price was good for the area and EV charging was a bonus. Didn't eat or drink there so can't comment, but staff was polite and helpful.

Very rude payment process if you didn't pay immediately, as we paid the next day and got several very blunt and rude emails as a reminder. Lift handrail was broken and my wife is unsteady on her feet so that was an issue. TV remote didn't have batteries in so had to use the button underneath. Pillow was very well used and lumpy. Only 1 pillow person

We absolutely loved the location for visiting Lego land and chessington, free parking and the refurbished family room we had was very comfortable and a great size. Staff were lovely too.

The reception wasn’t very inviting due to being a reception, bar, waiting area all in one and unfortunately the restaurant felt extremely grubby. it had an awful smell of curry and dirt, which was weird at breakfast. Definitely needs a good clean and re fit, it was such a shame as everything else was great.

Room appeared brand new, great amenities including shower room, bed, view was beautiful out to a pound with ducks, with hills and the traction in the background, and the window actually opened fully. Reception team were 5 Stars, super professional, smiley and helpful. Would book again anytime. Stayed in another one of their branch's further south the M25 which was rundown so was pleasantly surprised how great this ones was.

Mayeb windows could have been triple glazed to reduce the sound of teh train a bit more. I guess this would only be an issue for the super light sleepers.

We stopped here overnight to break up a very long journey across the country. The location was perfectly on route and excellent value for money. We ate at the restaurant upstairs and the food was fantastic and the chef was friendly and professional. The staff on reception were also helpful. This was a great little stopover.

The pillows were pretty flat and there was only one spare in the room. But reception were happy to give another. Not much to say as a negative.

Nice size room, bathroom clean and I liked the fact that there were complimentary toiletries, everything I would want for my stay. Despite the constant traffic due to M25/A3 roadworks there was no noise in the room. All staff I met were very friendly and helpful and welcomed my dog. The dog walking facilities were excellent with some nice touches including bins and picnic benches. A good children's playground too. The hotel has it's own restaurant and with all the food outlets normally associated with Motorway services there was no need to venture out of the complex.

Perhaps a few more sachets of tea, coffee and milk for a twin room for a two night stay?
