The Hotel is in a good location and in a quiet area. From arrival all the staff we encountered were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and functional. It was cleaned the next day too as we stayed two nights. We stayed DB&B and the meals offered good value and were delicious. This was both dinner and breakfast. The portion sizes were big and lots of choice at breakfast. Drinks are reasonably priced too. The pool is warm and was a nice extra as well as the whirlpool bath. What really made our stay overall great though were the staff who were super friendly and made it feel that nothing was an issue. This provided a wonderful atmosphere throughout the hotel. Will definitely return here again. Thank you.

The room was ample size, and spotless, tea and coffee facilities in the room as well as a hairdryer. The beds were very comfortable. Had an evening meal and breakfast, both were very tasty. The breakfast was self serve with lots of different choices. On both occasions the staff asked straight away on entering the dining room if anyone had a dietary restriction, this did not affect us but was nice to know for other family members who were not with us on this occasion Also noticed at breakfast there was a table in another part of the dining room that was a ‘ Gluten Free’ area. Although we did not have time to use the pool area, jacuzzi and other facilities, they looked clean and the people in there seemed to be enjoying them.

A very warm welcome as we arrived and the man working the desk made sure we were 100% happy with our room and the services available. We were in a family room which was very comfortable and good space considering we had a baby and a dog with us. Breakfast and the staff running the service were fantastic.

The hotel isnt by any means 5 star, however considering the price its great value for money. Some areas including the room could do with some tlc. I didn't notice any obvious parent and child spaces near the entrance and the baby changing facilities weren't fantastic but still workable.

The bar and restaurant were fresh and welcoming, food was very nice, although a little disorganised in the execution, pool and additional facilities were lovely, staff all friendly and welcoming. The room, albeit a little tired, along with the corridor leading to it which all need a little freshening up, was tidy, clean and exactly what you would expect. We were comfortable, everything you needed to know was clearly laid out in the room, plenty of cupboard space, only issue we had, which is a personal issue was the TV, would be nice to be able to have the option to watch a streaming service as the channels have little on. However, that said we would happily stay here again.

Nice large rooms, clean facilities. very accomdating for food allergies. very friendly and helpful staff. Nice food with good options for children. loved the fact they had a play area for kids. overall very pleasant stay. gym and swim an added bonus.

beds a little uncomfortable, could do with investing in new mattresses and there was no heated towel rail. ok for one day but for more than one day with swimming alittle more inconvenient although the spinner provided helped with the excess water. corridors could do with a touch up with decorations.

We really enjoyed our stay, your staff are an absolute credit as everyone we met was just absolutely brilliant. We knew we could have asked for our bed to be changed to a twin, but we were fine and there really wasn’t anything you could have done about the children running the corridors at gone 10. But you were fabulous. The pool was amazing after the long drive and the food (both dinner and breakfast) was brilliant too.

Honestly, I think the only things I could put here are tiny. With two guests staying in the room, two packets of biscuits would have been nice, and a hot chocolate in the drinks tray… but that’s it. Thank you!

Just off motorway but quiet area with enough parking which is free . Rooms clean and ok for short stay. Breakfast lots of choice and my children liked they were able to use the pool facilities. All staff friendly and helpful from the main desk , bar and food area. This was our 2nd stay .

The sofa bed my boys slept on was extremely uncomfortable and I could feel the strings coming though . They had to sleep on top of the duvet and use bottom sheet as cover . Whilst packing car up nxt morning the door locks after 11 which was slightly annoying as only left just minutes passed

From arrival to departure it was such a lovely stay. Dylan who checked us in made us feel welcome. Jake who was also there for anything we needed, once again treated us so well. The bar staff , restaurant staff, room service again just so pleasant and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless everything we needed. We chose half board and the food was lovely. I would like all the staff who looked after us during our stay from 19th to 21st to be praised for how they made us feel. I will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Comfortable with a good night's sleep and choices for breakfast including fruit. Staff all very friendly and welcomed our dog. I like the location away from busy roads and surrounded by trees.

Admittedly it was a busy Saturday. Someone responded immediately to my request for poached eggs (as per notice on counter) but they never materialised. So I missed out on some breakfast whilst pointlessly waiting for them to be delivered. (I had been looking for some hot food which was not fried). The toaster was also a bit challenging and didn't brown the toast.

It was clean , shower gels and shampoo provided were both good and it within walking distance to Haydock Park . it was very busy at breakfast as they seemed short staffed on the Saturday but once we got a table and the breakfast had been topped up it was very good

Breakfast was a little chaotic on the Saturday but on the Sunday it was totally different. It would be good if there were more cups available . Booking . Com also states no pets but it turned out you could take dogs or cats
