The hotel is pretty much what you'd expect for a Holiday Inn Express. What really impressed us was the warm, welcoming staff who were incredibly helpful and accommodating of requests (special thanks to the lady who found the extra-soft pillows!). The location was perfect for the activities we wanted to undertake, and once again the staff were helpful with local-knowledge tips and recommendations. We also hadn't realised just how close it was to such a big shopping centre - so many facilities just a short stroll away.

We stayed for two nights. The clean in-between was pretty average - no additional bathroom supplies nor was the tea/coffee restocked in the room.

We were really lucky to get a room at the last minute as we left the Isle of Skye to beat the severe storm that due to hit there the day we were originally going to drive to Inverness. The breakfast for great, good coffee machine with lots of choices and plenty of tables for guests in the main lounge area. They also lest us extend our check out until 1 pm and then we hung out in the lounge for a couple of hours. We could not get into our AIRBNB until 3:30, and with the very high winds and rain that worked really well for

The room was pretty small, and we and there were no luggage racks. Also, we couldn't get the luggage cart padt the bed due to the small rooms tight entry space. We still liked our stay there.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express Inverness! From the moment we arrived, Judith and her team made us feel truly welcome. The service was warm, efficient, and genuinely caring — nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, exactly what you'd hope for after a long day of travel. Breakfast was fresh, well-stocked, and managed with a smile — a great start to each day. Judith leads by example — her professionalism and kindness clearly inspire the whole team. It’s rare to find hospitality this consistently excellent. Thank you for making our visit so memorable.

From the moment we arrived, the front desk manager was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. They assisted with every request promptly, ensuring that all my needs were met and that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Room size is too small for 3 person ( 2 adult and one child)

We had a great stay. Hotel was quiet, clean, nice toiletries, good breakfast. The most impressive thing was the staff. EVERYONE was so welcoming, polite, helpful. I was so impressed! We had our son's birthday during our stay and Beka made sure he would have a wonderful surprise waiting for him. We were so grateful. She asked for his name and he had a lovely birthday card (shop bought which I thought was so thoughtful) with balloons and chocolates. Fantastic customer service, thank you so so much! Judith received us very well at reception, with all information we could need. And the housekeeping lady was also so nice!! During our stay I got the chance to observe the warmth and professionalism of Richard, on the breakfast area. We only interacted on our last day but I had noticed him always taking so good care of the guests, wishing them a wonderful day, helping with any need they may have. He works incredibly well. You are all doing so great over there, thank you so much for a great stay!

Room doesn't have air con. Our stay was in February but I still wish I could have set the temperature so maybe would avoid summer months. And the lift was playing up a little but gave us the chance to use the stairs and there was a lovely smell in the air so I was pleased with it.

Plenty breakfast every morning Friendly and welcoming staff members, especially the lady with red hair who greeted us every morning for our breakfast with a big smile. Richard, Laura and Mary were lovely staff members and an asset to your team! Our hairdryer in the room did not work and reception happily provided and replaced this with a brand new one Cleaning staff were very good and helpful. Lovely warm heater in the room near the sofa which kept us cosy in the evenings Free car park Located in a good area to surrounding amenities Late night food orders from the hotel were very much appreciated, especially as our phone was not working so one of your staff members delivered it to our room on a tray! Snacks too expensive and it wasn’t very clear that hot drinks were available 24/7. No signal in the room unless you were pressed against the window Tv lost signal and a lot of the tv channels did not work due to this No overhead lighting for the room and the bedside lamps are too bright so they dazzle you Towel hooks in bathroom located in a non-functional area as the tissue box is right underneath it so it made them damp No plug socket near the bed Bathroom ideally needed a deep clean.

Our check in was great and the lady (Valentina I think) was warm friendly and really insightful to guide us for our trip to inverness and loch ness. Rooms are really spacious, and amenities are good. Great warming. Free parking too !

We had a staff at the front desk who wasn't very friendly and made faces. I dont remember her name, unfortunately. But it made me refrain from approaching the desk. The location is outside the town, so it's a great place for stopover, but not if you want to explore the town, and will be really difficult to travel if you don't have your own car or mode of transport sorted.

The overall experience in this hotel was excellent. Breakfast was very good, wide choice of both hot and cold dishes, all delicious. Our room was spotless and was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the duvet and pillows were also just the right thickness and softness, I liked the idea of only having the one door in the bathroom! a great idea for saving space but also giving privacy to all areas of the bathroom.

The only complaint my husband had was that the pizza served in the evening was tasteless, my meal was most satisfactory.

Very nice hotel. Good breakfast The staff were very helpful. Gregory was particularly helpful when we arrived. There was a nice atmosphere in the breakfast room when you came back in the evening. Families were sitting around eating, drinking and playing games. Residents can buy food in the evening and drink from the bar. There was a range of restaurants on the retail park which is in walking distance. The Snow Goose pub is right next door and we had a good meal here. The hotel is in a good place to access many attractions in or near Inverness we went to The Loch Ness Centre, Culloden Battlefied, Fort George and walked across the islands in the river Ness.

There wasn’t any jam for breakfast. The room could have brighter lights , it was rather dull.

Very comfortable bed. Good choice at breakfast (but fried egg option was missing?!). Staff welcoming, friendly, and polite. Good and safe location when have a car. This is our regular place to stay when visiting Inverness.

* Lighting in room could be improved (not all automatically came on/off with room keycard), and the radiator could be updated so to make room even warmer. * There should either be a mirror on the desk OR a shelf area (plus an additional plug socket) beside the tall mirror. Either would make more sense for guests to get ready at.
