We had a pleasant stay at Rate Eastgate Apartment. The location is easy to find and very convenient—just a short walk to a large grocery store and several restaurants, which made everything simple and accessible. The apartment itself is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean, modern, and provides a good base for exploring the area.

A couple of minor downsides: parking is available across the street but it’s paid, and one of the bedrooms has an unusual layout with a set of stairs that lead nowhere and a window without shutters or curtains, which could be improved for light control. Overall, a good choice for a short stay in a very handy location.

The price was exceptional value and so I expected fairly basic accommodation. But the property significantly exceeded my expectations. There was a lot more space than I expected, and the layout worked really well. Despite the apartment being at street level on a fairly busy road, it was very quiet inside. The kitchen was well-equipped, the full bath was a great benefit and the shower was awesome! Location is great: right beside the Eastgate center and comfortable walking distance of the city center - but also with easy travel out of Inverness to the east and the airport. We only stayed for one night, but our family of four would have been perfectly comfortable if this was a much longer stay.

I did find the property to be just a little too warm - and this is the ONLY thing holding me back from giving a 9. I would say that some of this is my preference and also due to the fact that it was particularly warm weather during our stay (probably not normally a problem in Inverness!).

This apartment was the best overall place we stayed during our 8 day road trip in Scotland. Its spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Best part is the location which has a Morrisons directly in front of the apartment, which made shopping for groceries and cooking so easy and convenient. Parking is also allowed at the road in front of the apartment until 8am, so we moved the car to the Morrisons' carpark which allows up to 3 hours parking. We would definitely consider staying here again the next time we are in Inverness!

We struggled a little with the key safe, as that isn't common where we come from. Basically the code opens a safe to the key to the apartment, and that took awhile to figure out.

I stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The apartments were only a couple of minutes walk from the train station and town centre, with a Morrisons store only across the road to pick up anything that we had forgotten. I would definitely recommend!

My only slight criticism would be that we were unable to obtain many channels on the lounge TV, but as we were out and about most of the time, it was not really important to us.

This apartment is much larger than it appears in the listing. It is on a busy street during the day, but at night it seemed plenty quiet. It's right across the street from a large grocery, so supplies were easy to get and it was only a couple of blocks from the heart of downtown. The property was very clean and the furnishings were modern. We didn't cook but it had a full kitchen.

Nice apartment with two bedrooms, nice livingroom with smart tv and really comfy sofa. Fully equipped kitchen, toilet and bathroom with toilet. Nice to have a washing machine for clothes available. Location was good and close to shops

In the bedroom with the skylights the 'curtain' solution is not sufficient to block any light from coming in in the morning.

The location is really good for its price. It’s big and with complete kitchen and bedroom stuff. Our place even have a living room. It’s clean and there are enough warmer. Laura was very kind and very accommodating. She let us dropped our bags as we arrived early in Inverness.

Almost nothing. It’s just that there were two used towels left in one of the bedrooms when we checked in. But the place is very clean.

Clean, very clean. Tons of clean towels on a heated towel rack. Plenty of space. Well maintained. Wash up liquid and clean tea towels available. 2 bedrooms, 2 WC's. Large kitchen. TV with channels. Central location, just 10 minutes walk from the centre of inverness.

Lockbox came right off the wall when i was collecting the key. Slight smell of curry in the kitchen presses and smell of damp inside the front door, but these did not detract at all from my stay and i would stay there again without hesitation, i have already recommended it to friends.

Great location, great facilities, lovely fresh roses throughout the property, nice to find milk, cereal and coffee. Super comfy beds. Easy instructions for key-box and entry. Friendly owner just a message away for any questions. Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property was clean and adequate for our needs. The host was friendly and communicated well.

As mentioned in other reviews, the shower situation is a bit funky. One of the showers is extremely short and claustrophobic.
