Great Hostel, staff are super friendly.. the rooms are clean and the bedding. Its an old building but very comfortable and cleaned daily. The people that work there are exceptionally helpful. I had taxi's ordered for me and a lady receptionist even paid a taxi fayre for me as I only had a credit card with me. Very kind, thoughtful and helpful staff, would 100% recomend to anyone on a budget wanting to stay in reasonable and clean accomadation with friendly staff. If you respect these people working hard for you to have a pleasant stay they will ensure your time spent at EHE Hostel is very comfortable indeed. 10/10 from me. Thank you all the staff and the cleaning ladies. You are all amazing. Ian

1. Clean and comfortable. 2. Nice looking bathtub with warm water. 3. Clean toilet with free to use toilet paper. 4. Odorless liquid soap for clean your dirty dishes. also can be use for hand wash and at shower too. NB! Please prove that is really soap, and not special washing liquid as. 5. A lot of kitchenware for cook, prepare you food, and for lunch (eating process) 6. Very beautiful view of sky and rooftops. 7. Strong and secure WiFi internet signal on each floor. 8. 24/7 access to hostel. If closed call the doorbell.

1. Corridor (same on all floors) where all improvised kitchen located as also access to toilet and shower are little bit colder in months between beginning of September upto late April. Wear your warm socks and sweaters. 2. To wash your clothes - pay little price (2 eurs each wash). 3. Bunk beds are clean, but not feeling comfortable if you're big man. Structure of beds doesn't look strong enough, but it's proven pass of weight of 120+ kilos and not bend in half. 4. Floors are cold, especially starting from fall/autumn 🍂 period. Take your slippers with you. X. Not specifically bad, a little bit irritating that automatic lamps might turn off while you sit still at evening time (drinking tea, and chewing sandwiches)

A good place to sleep if you're passing through the city by car or if you need to spend the night before going to the airport because you're finishing (or starting) a road-trip. It's located away from the city center and has a large private parking lot with a secured spot, which makes things much easier on these types of trips or road trips. The lady who helped me at reception when I arrived was very friendly. They gave me a room on the top floor, the fourth. I had a large suitcase and asked for help, as there was no elevator. The receptionist helped me carrying my suitcase upstairs.

The light in the showers wasn't working when I arrived, and I had to shower in semi-darkness. Luckily, it was summer and it gets dark at 11 p.m., so some (but not much) light came in from outside. There's a desk for working in the room, which was a big plus for me. But the electrical plug were far away, and my computer cable didn't reach, so the desk wasn't very useful. The windows have completely transparent curtains that let in ALL the light, and in the summer when there is sunny at 4 a.m., you wake up with the sun shining in your face because no curtain is more opaque. However, I slept wonderfully and didn't notice the light. The bed was very comfortable, and I would have stayed there for several more hours…

All the staff are very nice and helpful, especially the cleaning lady who, despite not really speaking English, would use Google Translate to let me know she was going to clean my room. She is also very nice and gentle. Luckily, during my stay, I was the only guest in this room. The room is quite clean, and everything you need is provided, such as bedding and towels. The kitchen is clean and well-organized.

If you wanna do laundry, they are going to charge 7 €, which is a bit expensive. Also, I can hear people cooking or walking in the corridor due to the thin walls. However, the guests and staff are quite respectful, so it doesn't bother me too much.

Their staff is exceptional- I hope they get sleep sometime. The building looks like an old school somehow, and it's very basic but- once you know the particularities- it's quite OK. Especially, if you book 2 or 3 bed rooms, it's very good value for money. There is free tea, coffee costs 2 Euro, and the kitchen has all you need to cook.

The plugs. They looked broken to me so I charged in the kitchen. after a few tries the ones in the room also worked. Also, the kitchen on my floor only had one hot plate- not enough for groups of people who want to cook.

Roomy and clean with sparkling white bed linen. 24 hour receptionist downstairs was a huge plus. Spacious eating hall/kitchen. Lockers with key in rooms for your personal items. The cleaning lady did a good job of keeping everything very tidy. Quiet location in the suburbs. This is a large hostel reminiscent of a hotel on 4 floors. Very good value.

They charge more for women's dorm than men's dorm and there is no cheaper mixed room option to stay if you are a woman. The price difference isn't huge but its still bothersome because the accommodations are described as the same. The location is a bit out of the way but you can take the trolley (about 3 blocks away) and it goes directly to Old Town.

what could be added to the price ~ expectation trade-off... yes, there is the smell of cleaning chemicals in the staircase, but it's fine, some guys tried to fry fish on the 4th floor for real, but all this is fine, in my room there was no smell, and there are windows to open one thing became obvious... the distance from the city center and maybe cultural things like being russian-speaking, but the main guests in my feeling were not tourism travelers, but men 45+, who have some business in Tallinn. All was good, nobody was drunk in my room on Saturday night and all were at their place already at midnight. It depends on you, but if you visit Tallinn for tourism, I suggest staying in the city center and not saving a little money. As a male, I felt safe and sound, but I can imagine my wife would not love this stay. And I like the tramway toward this place, and the closeness to the beach, ~20-minute walk, even though the water is deadly cold and very shallow for ~150 meters :)

there are for real quite thin walls, I was getting asleep at midnight and waking up in the morning by noises of people trying to have (doing?) sex, I was surprised by their endurance all windows go to the parking lot with a smoking place, even though it's quite far, some people had rather loud chatting outside till 1.30 am, so one might be ready to go down and ask to be quieter. I don't have problems with city noise, but this district is very calm, so any noise is sensitive. while sleeping with closed windows could be hard in such small rooms And yes, that quite hard to sleep in Tallinn near midsummer without proper curtains, it was a bit dark at 12, and already very bright from 4 am

20 minutes from the ferry port, clean rooms and toilets. I usually avoid hostels, but I wanted to be as close to the port as possible. They have private parking and offered me to store my laguage in the administrators room, wery kind personal..

The room was a bit to worm for my liking, but I like it when it is cold..

Very clean. 24h reception. No-nonsence/thrills. Spacious.

Lack of shelving//hooks/plugsat each bed(some did have), no cups. 1 night lamp would work wonders as the big light was bit much for nighttime. Perhaps provide cups in room, as communal kitchens had none left and I really fancied a coffee at that moment 😁

The best way to stay in this city.l, your are very close. The bedroom is clean, very big and the bed is so comfortable. You have two kitchens on every floor, very clean, lots of stuff to cook. Thanks for this stay ☺️
