We loved everything. Both the philosophy of the hotel and its design, as well as the fact that every detail in the room has been thought out, despite the fact that the room for imagination is so narrow :) but everything is possible here! When we come back to Tallinn, we will definitely stay only in this hotel. We recommend it from the bottom of our hearts!

Comfortable bed, nice room. Very quiet and relaxing. I liked the old factory building (it is beautiful) and the way the spaces inside are arranged, the containers are surprisingly beautiful too. A cool place and I love the idea on building a hotel like this! The location is perfect, very close to the old town and in the middle of the new, vibrant, "young" area, close to all type of public transport and small bars, cafés and food market. I would definitely stay here again.
Not a big issue, but I would have appreciated more hangers for clothes and a wider choice for breakfast. I wouldn't mind an upgrade on soap and shower gel either, it felt very low budget (better bring your own).

A quirky hotel in an excellent location. The beds were comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and regularly topped up. We would highly recommend.
The kitchen was fantastic, but our only niggle was that it was often taken over by people who we assume were long term guests. We wanted to make ourselves a cup of tea several times a day and these people always seemed to be in there, cooking complicated meals, using all the work tops, cooking utensils and fridges and seemed annoyed by us popping in to boil a kettle.

Good hotel. As the name suggests, you live in a container inside of which there are a bed, a bathroom and the necessary stuff. It’s clean and modern. Breakfast is outstanding, don’t even remember when I had such a good breakfast in a hotel the last time. I asked for the charger as my phone was out of charge and after some searching was provided one.
You still hear the noise from the club space next to the building. Didn’t bother me but some more sensitive to the noise may find it more challenging. The personal gets the job done but without enthusiasm (= doesn’t feel friendly), the receptionist when I called her for the charger (and there is the self-service check-in starting from the evening), was trying to talk to me with the very loud music in her background which obviously you can not.

The room is not too cramped, it's clean, comfy bed and nice shower. Nice working spaces and big kitchen. Convenient self check-in. I love the Telliskivi area and everything it has to offer, and it is also close to the train station and a tram stop, so the location is great!
I would have liked a little fridge in the room, especially in summer. If you are staying here, take into account that most containers (facing the lounge) do not let in sunlight and the windows cannot open, therefore you are a bit removed from the outside world. Also note that there is not much, or even no staff around outside of working hours.

The Hektor Container Hotel is one of the coolest properties I've ever stayed in. It is fantastic value, really comfortable and an ingenious concept. It feels somehow like staying in a forest - the self-contained pods feel really private and cozy, but at the same time spacious and comfortable. I was particularly impressed with how large the shower and bathroom were, given it's all in one container. The staff were super friendly and the whole property is really stylish and aesthetic. It is in a really fun part of town, within easy walking distance of the main sights and surrounded by an arty, interesting neighborhood. I could not recommend it more.

Superb location in trendy district on the other side of the railroad terminus and market from the Old Town. Spotless clean, FREE parking (for the first 4 guests). Cool common areas (kitchen etc). They encourage sustainability (limited hot water in the shower).
Very weird AC system - cold air is blown around the bed (who wants a stiff neck?), heater in the middle of the room. No actual parking reservation (contrary to the description), first come first serve, we were lucky to be at low time. Bed by the window on the street and corridor level = difficult choice between blocking the only window in the room and feeling exposed to the passersby. Confusing check in/out electronic system (you'll have to type all the information booking.com has once again and I'm not even sure I managed to actually check out).

This hotel absolutely surpassed our expectations. Location is great (it is located in a hip artsy neighbourhood, with a lot of cool food spots and vintage shops). The rooms despite small size were very functional and absolutely spotless. Small size of the rooms is compensated by abundance of communal areas and coworking space. Beds were very comfy, we all had a great sleep. The breakfast was delicious (we had to get seconds of all 3 types of hummus they had!). Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our doggo felt welcome as well :) Concept is amazing - the rooms are built from repurposed shipping containers, and it is clear that the hotel was built with sustainability in mind. Would absolutely stay again.

It was great for the price I got and for what it is. It looks very cool and rooms are comfortable and clean. The check-in/out process was super easy. Loved the fact that you can just do everything online and use a code to access all areas. The whole process was very convenient. Coffee was great!
I got the room for much cheaper than it would normally go for, and that price was great. Looking at the full price..you could get a room in a 4star hotel for the same price. The floor was a bit cold, might be a good idea to give guests a warning to bring slippers or warm socks. On the other hand the bathroom floor was very warm, so I guess that balanced out.

The location - Hektor hotel is in Telliskivi quarter which has a very rich nightlife, good set of different restaurants, bars, live music, Forografiska and many more places to go. The old town is 15 minutes on foot when taken a lazy stroll or a zip by e-scooter. The concept - I was truly positively surprised by the concept of building a container room inside an old train depo. It’s well designed, considerate of the users and well signposted to find your container/room. The facilities and ambience - communal areas like lounge, kitchen, cafe. Working spaces. The colour scheme is black and white with some other tones thrown in to highlight the detail. I did not use the communal kitchen nor the cafe, so need to try them out the next time. The room - your room is a container that has been built into a room to include everything you’d find in a hotel room. Mine had a window to the internal courtyard and was so quiet that I slept in… nearly missed my flight. The neighbours- very quiet crowd sans one drunken/angry chap whose rant lasted about a minute and who was then brought to his senses.
