I loved the staff and how everything was carefully organized and clean. I liked the open space of the kitchen where everybody could come together to enjoy breakfast or read a book. You can also cook your own meal if you want to. It feels little bit like you are staying at a friend´s house. :-)

My first night at the hostel there was a group of men that decided to drink and be very loud late in the evening when everybody was trying to sleep. I had to step outside twice and ask them to keep it quiet. They didn't listen at all and kept on going. This was really too bad since I really was happy with so many other things at the hotel. I think there has to be someone present at the place at least until midnight so this doesn't happen again.

The price and location are great, the room is small but more than enough for me and my friend & it was clean and comfortable. We had a late check-in & a late check-out but the staff arranged everything for us and everything was easy and efficient! It was very nice to find a cheaper option for a private room, only the kitchen was in a shared area but we did not have any issues with it. The biggest drawback is the Wi-Fi, for some reason it only seemed to work in the bathroom? And it was a weak connection to boot, I would come back here for the convenience but I strongly suggest for the hotel to improve its Wi-Fi if possible. Something else for travelers to keep in mind is that there is no elevator for the 2nd floor, where the private rooms are located so it may be difficult to get around with a lot of luggage or an impairment.

I had a great stay here, when travelling through Tampere. The room was decorated with a nice, simple, modern but comfortable touch. It had everything I needed and a shoe horn too!!! I really like this hostel/hotel fusion. I used to travel in hostels a lot but as getting older I've started to appreciate a bit more privacy, but I don't need all the hotel pampering (always) either. It was nice that there was a kitchen station on the floor, I used it only to make cups of tea and to fill in a water bottle but enjoyed having the facilities. The staff at the reception were very friendly. Lastly, the location is great, close to city centre but also some of the all-time best bars Telakka and Klubi are just around the corner. I went to close by Tammelan Tori Market Square for breakfast in the morning, also recommend. :)

The general vibe of the hotel was very cozy with the cute kitchen/common area, the little "swings" and the book swap concept. The location was perfect for our needs, close to the train station and the Nokia arena. The room was clean and the reception staff was super friendly!

The room was quite small, which wasn't a big problem because we mainly just slept there, but we missed having a little table or something. The beds also felt slightly "tilted" even though they were otherwise comfortable. The elevator wasn't working while we were there, which wasn't a problem for us, but other travellers with more luggage were struggling a bit.

Nice rooms and good location near the stations. The staff is very friendly and flexible: I could arrive before check-in time and store my luggage, and also come back after reception closed (17 on Sundays) and get in my room, where my luggage awaited me, using instructions sent by email. Very convenient. Nice breakfast, although not a whole lot for vegans (vegan yogurt, bread spread, oat milk and the usual vegetables and jams), but still alright. Overall a great stay.

The bathroom is a bit small but manageable.

1. Very great location, near department stores, university, and just a few walks to a train station, which is close to a shopping shops and restaurants. 2.Very clean bathroom and comsy bed. 3. Very safe place for staying over nights as there are 3 doors outside protecting residents from unexpected/stranger.

All are really good. No desk/table and the light a little bit limited in the room. However, there is a dinning and relaxing area outside the room which is good for making new friends. Still recommend for your great stay(s).

I really liked the location, close to everything, bus stops, train station, supermarkets. The staff were lovely, I felt particularly happy to see there were francophones among the staff.

I didn't like the size of the bed, I was almost falling off the bed during the night. The soaps in the bathroom weren't filled and water temperature can be regulated, but it doesn't stay the same if you put in another temperature.

Would highly recommend this hostel and hotel in Tampere for everyone visiting, the hotel is located upstairs and my room was so quiet, bed was huge and super comfortable and the WIFI was excellent too. The lovely lady at the reception helped answearing all my questions, was very approachable and friendly. Also they have a massive common area and facilities to prepare tea, coffee and even a small light meal. It is also located a few min walk from the train station, and also city center with all the attractions.

Location is superb. Kitchen was great, I loved the opportunity to store food into fridge and heat it in the kitchen. Free tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Bed was comfy. Curtains which were large enough to cover the window and lights at night. Friendly staff and good service. I arrived late, but key and entry were arranged. Thank you.

In shower stalls, they could add some hooks to keep one's stuff and clothes while showering. Too often this is forgotten, same happened here.

Not bad , fairly cheap , clean and everything there needed. It was a bed for the night and then I was off. Tea / coffee is available and you have the possibility to cook yourself , ( or microwave something) fridge there to store the needed. Please be aware : Breakfast is way too expensive for what is on offer.

To be fair - the reception could cheer up a little ( jeepers she seemed to be in a bad mood), quite off putting to new guests. But that is a staffing issue , not really a hostel issue - although that does drag the experience down.
