The location is first class, about 4 minutes walk from Berlin Hauptbahnof. I arrived 4 hours before check in, and enquired if an early check-in was possible. The receptionist was very accommodating, and arranged an upgrade which allowed me an early check and superiority facilities. Some might say it was upsetting, but it was always my choice, and she was professional at all stages. The room was airy, clean and comfortable. I slept exceptionally well, despite the heat the AC was very quiet. Breakfast was plentiful with a great variety on offer.Check out was fast and efficient

Location is superb as far as access to Berlins main train station but not much in near vicinity at night. 2 coffee shops close by which are excellent and a short stroll across river to Main attraction. Hotel was very clean and staff very pleasant.

Bedroom was very hot when we arrived and no AC but room heater which we had to keep on 0 temp to try cool room down. Not sure how hot this gets in summer as we arrived with only 15-20 degrees , room maybe uncomfortable for some. Website states that rooms have tea coffee facilities but they dont and this was a disapointment but staff easily gave us hot water in cups for free when we needed it . Bar facilities are very good but unreliable closing times , beer prices were very reasonable. Would give hotel 4/5 overall , it was a pleasant stay.

On of the best locations if you are traveling to get to tour around the city. Right next to the main train station (already a landmark to visit) is just 15 minutes walk to the brandburg gate. Hop-On, Hop_off buses all stop in the quarter next to the hotel. Super friendly hotel staff and hotel has very nice lounge areas with a simple but effective bar and snack meal set. Overall cleaning and very comfortable rooms either twin or double.

Breakfast when not included in the base room rate seems a bit to expensive (21€ per person). The buffet is quite good but not to the extent of charging this amount. The air condition control takes a while to understand how it works. A simple leaflet in the room with instructions would help. Room cleaning is only every 3 days. On a daily basis needs to be by request (no extra charge). This was a change from last time I was here (daily cleaning).

At first, I was taken aback when told that our room would not be cleaned while we were resident (3 nights), but I came to see that as a positive. We can make our own bed, and certainly don't need our towels to be changed every day; I would prefer to save the soap, water and electricity. I was also disappointed that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. However, when I asked, the reception staff immediately found a kettle for me and would, I am sure, have also provided mugs if asked. I chose the hotel as it is 5 minutes' walk from Berlin central train station and easily accessible for central Berlin by walking or public transport, and so well situated for easily getting around on Berlin's fabulous and efficient public transport system. Our room was clean, comfortable and very well insulated from external sounds, and we enjoyed our stay there. We would certainly stay again. The breakfasts are wonderful - full buffet, including vegan options (falafel, houmous, papaya and mango dip) - wow! Breakfast is enough to keep you going until the evening and the coffee was excellent. The staff in the reception and dining area were extremely helpful and courteous.

My only question is that hotels often seem to rely on Masdaamer and Gouda in the breakfast buffet - I would so much prefer to have local cheeses!

Super convenient location. Easy to find. Decent sized room and bathroom. Promo breakfast rate which is very good value for money. And decent breakfast spread. There's self check in kiosk - super convenient as the queue was extremely long for check in.

No kettle or cups or complimentary coffee/ tea. A bit strange and I thought these were basic amenities for any average hotel these days. I requested and got rejected for these basic amenities...you need to pay for every cup of coffee/ tea. Bed and pillows were very soft...not sure if this is a german standard and found similar experience with other properties..

Paid €25 to check in 2 hrs early; galling but worth it to dump the bags and plan the day. The room was large, clean, comfortable bed. Just a couple of minutes walk from the station but this meant it was a standard 30-40 mins walk away from key tourist sites however some of the circular bus tours leave in front of the Steinberger hotel which is directly opposite so extremely handy for these. A bonus of being by the station is several places to pick up snacks eat or late and there is a fridge in the room to store things which was convenient plus there is a giant food court also over the road from the Steinberger. I’d be very happy to stay here again as a base for exploring Berlin again.

This hotel was relatively inexpensive compared to others, so I was nervous. But it exceeded my expectations. The room was large, including the bathroom and shower, and was well designed and quiet. The hotel is convenient to the Berlin Hauptbahnhof train station, just a five minute walk away. The staff was friendly and I was surprised on arrival to be given a travel card that allowed me to use public transport for my entire stay. The room was well maintained with more than acceptable daily cleaning. I never had to wait for an elevator.

Like most Americans, I wonder why European hotels don't provide face wash clothes (and the bath towels could have been plusher). The rug could have used a refurbishment.

I loved the fact that it was so close to the train station and lots of eateries around it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I really enjoyed having a nightcap in the hotel bar. The room was very clean and comfortable, the pillows could do with an extra one but I managed. It's also in walking distance to the Brandenburg gate and the Reichstag building, lots of green spaces and of course the river Spee is just at the bottom of the strasse. Will definitely be back. Oh and the train from the airport was super easy to navigate €4.40 for a single ticket. Brilliant service

No tea making facilities in the room, if I'd have upgraded there would have been but I didn't. That's the only thing

Nice hotel, few minutes walk from main train station, past the striking cube and a pleasant stroll over the Spree to the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate. Great traditional inn a few mins walk by the river for good beer and Bavarian food.

Breakfast was nice, but bigger selection of hot food and a toaster for the bread would be perfect. Not a big deal, but having to wait while staff got coffees and the other machine was being cleaned was a bit off. Also couldn't get into Google drive or office account on the business station PC as it only had an old unsupported IE browser.

The location is perfect. The central train station, Berlin Hauptbahnhof is practically outside the door, within 2 minutes of a walk. The facilities were excellent, the room was without fault. The staff were welcoming, prompt, courteous, pleasant to work with and were exceptionally helpful during a medical event. No faults at all.

The only point of note I have is the hotel doesn't have a lunch facility. However beyond that I can find no fault. No issues otherwise.
