Staff were lovely, the beds were comfortable. Room was very clean. Location was great for walking Victoria.

Only one comfortable chair in room…2 people…could use another comfortable chair. If watching tv it was not central to room…difficult to watch from chair across the room and hard on back to sit in bed and watch. Ice machines only every 2nd floor. You had to be very quick with your room key in elevator before selecting your floor or you would bypass your floor. Would have been nice to have complimentary coffee in lobby.

Location was excellent - close to the harbor and all the central activities; the Royal BC Museum, Beacon Park, Government St with lots of restaurants - just two blocks away so we really enjoyed walking everywhere. The staff at the hotel were amazing - super helpful and friendly and gave us some pointers on where to go / what to do

The gym is pretty small with a just a few cardio machines and some weights; the pool facilities needs updating / cleaning

The location is great -- short walking distance to the Inner Harbour, Royal Museum, Government Street and Chinatown. The room has been renovated and the lighting is excellent and well placed -- bedside lighting perfect for reading; task lighting at desk perfect for doing work at the work station; ambient lighting also great. Beds were comfortable. Lots of natural light. Valet and Check-in staff were very great.

The bathroom lighting could be improved; bathroom fixtures could be updated. My view from the 7th floor looked north and east at other hotels and buildings.

Everything was great - our only concern was a/c blowing on us directly all night - we felt like we weren’t sleeping and so because of this we felt terrible and sleep deprived instead of having a good sleep. It wasn’t until we got to our next hotel in Vancouver the Sutton that we finally realized how much it took out of us and then tried to make it up - but it honestly sucked us right out to the point we thought maybe we were getting a cold but once we got away found we were coming back - stayed 3 nights at Marriott

Room was good, clean and comfortable. We wanted quite room and we did get it. Hotel is in downtown and proximity to lot of restaurants and attractions makes it a great choice. Valet folks were very responding and helpful, never ever saw sign of frustration no matter how many times car was asked to bring or park.

Elevators were taking lot of time, plus it was sometime taking effort to get card scan on it which was needed to go up to your floor. We stayed 2 nights; room service did come but didn't bother to pick towels down on the floor. We had those there for purpose to remove.

Location is great and rooms are spacious and well equipped with all you need. I also liked how spacious the lobby is.

The rooms are ok decorated, they could be better. Floors feel old and I think they should at least add some rugs under the beds to make the rooms more comfortable and cozy.

I was disappointed to find out with the price we paid that there wasn’t even a continental breakfast. Parking was 32.00 extra. Didn’t expect that either.

No breakfast and had to pay for parking. Also the description leads to to believe you are actually in the inner harbour but you don’t even see it.

Friendly staff and location was great.

Wish I would be able to grab my vehicle freely without calling concierge every time I needed it but at least my vehicle was safe inside the garage and Ubering around instead was cheap so in the end it was actually nice not using my own vehicle so it turned out to not be a really negative thing anyways.

Great location and the room was lovely, bright and clean.

One elevator was not working over the Canada Day weekend (which according to other reviews had not been working for a while) which had many guests very frustrated with the long wait. I was charged for 2 nights of valet parking when I only had my car in there for one night. Our bin wasn’t emptied during our 3 night stay and was overflowing by the time we left. We ran out of toilet paper on the last night because they didn’t replace an almost empty roll as it was our last night.

Location walking score is good. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Rooms were very clean.

Long line up at checkout time, could be avoided by having more than 1 employee working the front desk at the busiest time. Beds and pillows were just ok, sheets weren’t very soft. Rooms not soundproof. Construction site right outside our window (we were not aware of at time of booking) was noisy in the morning).
