We arrived to the Hotel around 9:30pm after flying in from the UK. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and very accommodating. I was though a bit put off by the $150.00 security deposit. We are always hesitant now to book a hotel after a bad experience at a hotel in August of 2024. Sometimes what is on a website ie photos is not at all what the hotel looks like. But the hotel has done some nice renovations and the breakfast was delicious.

The next morning, when we were going to have some breakfast I dropped our keys to the front desk but I got the impression the man behind the desk wished he were someplace else.

Good breakfast with hot food items available. (I have to say I am not a fan of wooden cutlery, I would prefer metal). The rooms were well equipped with irons and ironing boards, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, etc. Very conveniently located. Clean and comfortable.

Nothing bad really, the exterior could do with a bit of refreshing, broken handle on the back entrance, nowhere to butt out cigarettes so lots of butts lying around, but there was someone cleaning up those areas regularly. But they are little problems, easily solved and did not affect my stay.

Our stay at the Comfort Inn was simply a place to rest after a wedding . It totally blew me away though - super clean, everything looked brand new . We had a very comfortable king bed and a spacious room with multiple places to sit and rest our things. The room was beautiful with a very cool backsplash. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. We also were so impressed with the breakfast - I expected more of bagels and cereals kind of breakfast, but instead we had excellent eggs, potatoes/sausage, great coffee and juices , yoghurt /oatmeal and saving the best for last - a waffle maker with batter available to make mini waffles - so good ! Thank you for a great stay :)))

I was very impressed from the moment I arrived! The individual working at reception was both pleasant and efficient ... and even offered a cookie! My room was very clean and tidy and even the water pressure in the shower was great. The breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold options, from eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausages to fruit, cereal, yogurt, and pastries. You could even access coffee and chilled lemon water in the lobby throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The breakfast offered a great variety and was enjoyable. The overall cleanliness of the place was good, and the location was excellent. I would recommend it, but just be aware of the cleaning policy! I I had a video of the place, but I couldn't upload it for the review.

I recently stayed at this accommodation and wanted to share my experience. One thing I didn't realize was that I needed to request cleaning for my room; it’s not done daily by default.

Appreciated the hard floor surface instead of icky carpet. Beds are very comfy but pretty high to get into. Good, pet friendly restaurants very close by and within easy walking distance. Very spacious room.

Street noise starts early in the morning and the rooms aren't very sound proof. No hooks or towel bars in the bathroom. Lighting isn't great. No guide for the tv.

You can tell whoever designed this room put care into many of the details. From the wallpaper to the super comfy and ecstatically pleasing lounge chairs. This room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was good. Shower is hot and water pressure is great, which is something you look forward to when you’re staying at a hotel. Beds were so comfortable.

I thought there was a pool, which there was not. This is one thing I would definitely add! It will make people want to continue coming.

Room with king size bed was very clean. Excellent bathroom with good strong shower, also in room fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer and microwave. Friendly front desk staff. Didn't try complimentary breakfast but it was offered at check-in. Quiet, especially considering the location near 400 and Essa Rd. Good value for money.

Parking lot could use some repaving. Starting to look shabby outside.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well equipped with mircowave, fridge, iron and ironing board. The hot breakfast was very nice for the money, with eggs, sausage, potatoes and a good variety of breads.

The outside areas looked a bit uncared for. The hotel is located near a busy highway. You couldn't hear the highway which was very good, but it of course was not a picturesque location of Barrie

First of all, even though we didn't request it, the receptionist took a look at us and made sure we had a room on the first floor. Very much-appreciated. The king room was modern, clean and spacious with wipe-down floors. The fridge kept everything very cold. Good lighting in all areas with nice places to read or work comfortably. TV and internet were actually working. The American breakfast buffet included juicy breakfast sausage, fluffy eggs and hot potatoes. Everything was well-attended, plentiful and fresh. Outstanding value for an included breakfast - the best I've experienced.

The big, firm bed was so beautiful to lie on top of for a while but then became super hot in the night, despite the air conditioning. Perhaps cooler, more breathable bedding and an even firmer mattress would be ideal, but it was still a better hotel bed than the rest I have slept in. I would really appreciate an included hand shower.
