First, this review must be kept in the context of an economy accommodation so it’s not comparing it to a 5 star hotel. The room was, however, as clean as any we’ve ever stayed in. It had an effective black-out curtain option to shade it from the city night lights, easy access off the 401 and ample parking. Our room had a comfortable, king bed and the stay included a basic breakfast with some hot options.

We have stayed here before (many years ago) and I recall, as the property is adjacent to the 401, the traffic can be heard at night. Light sleepers should request the opposite side of the building which, I was informed, are “even” numbered rooms. If you are fussy about coffee and prefer Starbucks, they are only a few minutes drive away. In fairness, marginal coffee is served practically everywhere it’s included with the rate.

- sofa bed mattress is too thin, so my 50kg kid could feel the underlying springs. - for the 2 nights we stayed, breakfast dining area was too small for the amount of guests, not enough chairs, and we had to wait for a while before there was a place for us (split the family).

Fast Check-in. Easy to find.

The furnishings were worn. The carpet had stains in several places. One armchair had unsightly stains. The bathtub also had stains or was repaired very unprofessionally. When there are already free Oropax on the bedside table, you know it's not going to be a quiet night. But the hotel can't do anything about the location.

Very convenient location on the Trans Canadian highway near the Thousand Islands area and a perfect stop on our journey to and from Quebec City. Recently remodelled. Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, and good breakfast which was included.

I woke a bit too late for breakfast, but the breakfast room was large enough to fit in a large number of guests and was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Would definitely stay there again!

The only thing wrong was the work being done outside of the main doors made me feel a little guilty for using them, but the work had to be done and I got over the guilt. The men doing the work were very polite and helpful.

Close to the highway, close to shops and city centre (driving distance). Wheelchair accessible.

The swipe card going to the pool didn’t work for many visitors- so guests had to keep getting out of the pool to let other guests in because the swipe cards wouldn’t work

The location was good and the breakfast was fine. The beds were comfy.

I was not pleased that if I used my CAA discount the price of the room would be higher. I thought the price was over priced to start with. We had problems checking in and when we finally got to our room, someone else was already in there. It took quite some time to get things straightened out and get a room.

Easy access from highway. Clean comfortable and staff was very friendly.

Complicated system for the tv. Never did get it to work. Followed the instructions printed but got stuck in the channel search loop

The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and all of the staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. We were staying for an event (along with several other guests) that required us to be up before usual weekend breakfast time so they altered the start time to be earlier to accommodate us.

Very pleased with the establishment. Good service, nice staff, very clean place and very nice breakfast. I recommend this hôtel, nothing but nice things to say about this place.
