Modern and updated. Amazing bedding. Comfortable couch. Blinds completely darkened the room. The air conditioner wasn’t over the bed. The layout of the big spacious room. The furniture was modern and I loved how the TV could tilt out to face the bed in 180 degrees. The location of the room at the end of the hall was so quiet too.

No freezer in the fridge. I like individual toiletries better than bottles of toiletries stuck on a wall. The pillows could have been larger for our king size bed. While the facilities and staff were amazing we went on a public holiday and it was fully booked with lots of kids. The breakfast room was so crowded we chose to eat at Tim Hortons for breakfast. We arrived for breakfast at 9 with breakfast over at 10. Suggestion to make breakfast at little later on a morning of a national holiday (Canada Day).

Because we booked with booking . com we ran into a problem with our reservation. My wife and I had come to Kingston to see our parents but decided to stay in a hotel to avoid bothering them. We stayed one night, but the next day, we both came down with a cold. We felt it best not to see our parents and decided to go home. We tried to cancel our reservation with the front desk, and they told us they couldn't do anything as it was done through booking.com. When we called booking.com they told us to go back to the hotel and asked them. Well, that didn't work.

Our room was large, even with a king bed and sofa, the room was a good size. The breakfast had so many options and was hot! Wish they had actual maple syrup instead of table syrup, but it’s a cost thing I know. There were enclosed booths (small table and a bench on three sides, for a more private breakfast if you wanted. The staff were amazing and the entire hotel was clean!

Wish there were trays to help manage breakfast - instead of trying to juggle a plate, cutlery and juice. Wish it was closer to the downtown area…but it was a minor thing.

The property was very clean and well maintained. There was a gym equipped with new machines, an indoor heated pool and hot tub. Breakfast was included which had many breakfast options (hot and cold) to choose from and was delicious! The breakfast staff always made sure that the areas were clean and refilled. The room was spacious and came with amenities. The bed was very comfortable and came with assorted types of pillows. I appreciated that there was no carpet. The reception staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive to our needs. The property is conveniently located. It’s about 10 minutes from downtown Kingston and close to the highway. Parking is free which is always a plus. Overall, Hampton Inn is a definite must stay while in Kingston!

The pool area closes at 9 pm. I would have appreciated it if it closed a little later.

Comfy bed and pillows, large room and large bathroom with nice counter space and good size shower with shampoo and conditioner- body lotion. Plugs, USB ports both sides of bed. Breakfast included

Breakfast items first morning were cold, even though food was in warm plates. Don't appreciate paper plates, plastic glasses and wood utensils. Even in room there were only paper cups, not ideal for a glass of wine. Better quality and bigger bath towels in room would be nice. Soundproofing was not ideal, first evening we could hear very loud music/bass, voices coming from rooms, luckily it stopped early enough.

Everything!! Facilities were clean and the rooms was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was.amazing, so much so, they wrecked it for the rest of the hotels on our Ontario trip. No one else could measure up to the politeness, friendliness, sincerity, kindness and helpfulness of Hampton Inn Kingston. And it wasn't just the front desk employees, it was everyone; maintenance, breakfast buffet staff, and room attendants. Location was great, out of the way but still a short drive to downtown Kingston.Thank you for a very enjoyable 8 days.

The facility was sparkling clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were exceptional. I cannot remember the last time I was greeted by hospitality staff who truly understood the goals of hospitality, were truly sincere in their friendliness, and who went above and beyond to treat their guests. We had forgotten a few items and Pam was eager to get us what we needed. In conversation, it was mentioned that it was our anniversary. Later that evening, we arrived back to the room to find a handwritten card, two cupcakes and anniversary wishes scrolled on the mirror. A lovely and heartfelt surprise. Thank you to the staff for our perfect stay.

Many good and healthy breakfast options. Hot food options were hot and plentiful and varied every day. Plenty of whole grains & fruit available. All in all very, very good. Great coffee and several teas available 24 hours.

The fruit options could be improved at breakfast. Bananas every day would be most appreciated instead of the preserved fruit salad and cantaloupe that comes in a juice full of preservatives. And apples could be better varieties (Macs, Fuji, cortlands) instead of only the offered red delicious.

The hotel is well appointed, modern, and clean. The beds are comfortable and the room is a good size with a sitting area. The pleasant breakfast area offers a variety of hot and cold options with plenty of fruit choices. The front-desk staff are friendly, welcoming and good ambassadors for the hotel brand. The locally-owned Duchess Pub is across the street and has good food choices at decent prices. There are other chain food restaurants within walking distance. We were impressed with the walking trail right outside the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

Newer property with easy access to Hwy 401(2.5 km south of hwy). Good selection of breakfast items and staff operating were very good. The front desk were very helpful and went above and beyond helping us to connect fire stick to tv. The location is 10-15 minutes from either the Kingston Penitentiary or Fort Henry if you plan to visit those popular tourist spots. The room is spacious and comfortable with everything you would expect from this level of hotel chain. We did not use the indoor pool but one was available. Numerous dining options close by.
