It's a very picturesque location and it's nice and quiet. Great for getting some peaceful rest. Overall I would recommend staying here. But pick one of the cottages down by the water. It will be worth the extra price. We will explore the property even more next time.

The lights in the hallway outside the room we stayed in are extremely bright at night and illuminate the room through the door and window. It's far too bright for sleeping. Thank goodness we brought a blackout sheet to put over the window. But we still had to use the bed runners for the window on the door. If they were on a motion sensor, it would help a lot.

Restaurant served spectacular meals every dinner we ate there. Once we ate there, we kept eating there as the food was so good. The steak was so good my wife had it twice. The lamb was the best I have ever eaten, so tender that it was served with a bread knife as nothing heavier was necessary. Vegetables cooked with just the right amount tenderness.

When we arrived, the TV in our room was not working. Staff quickly moved us to another room where everything was good. Next day however the second room's TV failed. I believe the network was satellite which can be chronically undependable when snow covers the dishes.

I liked the view of the lake, and you can tell it used to be a very beautiful place. The room was nice, and I didn’t expect it to have two levels, which was a pleasant surprise.

However, the place feels a bit neglected. I booked it expecting the hot tub to be larger and located outside—not in the bathroom—as shown in the photo. The room didn’t look like the one in the pictures. The TVs didn’t work, they couldn’t connect to the internet, and there were no public channels or anything else to watch, just the sea to look at.

It’s the second time we stay for a night, and we love it! Quiet, big room and this time we booked for a king size bed and a jacuzzi and it was perfect! Beautiful view to the sand banks by the beach! If you like stars, it’s comparing to the desert with no light, we never seen a sky with so many stars… Millions and more 😃

Excellent service and food at The Knoll for a family dining time.

First time guest ... dud not realize the distance between activity sites. Very challenging for a pair of 80+ yr Olds with mobility challenges. Reduced participation and needed to drive to and from The Knoll. Maybe an offer of Golf Cart service could be an optional service support.

Beautiful location. I loved sleeping with the windows open in the beach front room and sitting out on the patio watching the lake. Bed was comfortable to sleep in as well. Plenty of space. Front desk staff were welcoming and friendly.

Room needed a little maintenance some things like ceiling fan were a bit worn out.

Location, renovated room in a Lodge, convenience of restaurant and very easy check in. Beach was also lovely.

Property was great. Need more staff in restaurant for breakfast. Only one person on staff beside kitchen and she had to do everything for all customers.

I liked that this property is right on the beach and that there is a restaurant too. It was a good price as well and good location, close to Sandbanks park. Our room was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well as we stayed in hot summer weather.

The beach is not the best but it is good for kids to play on or for people who want to sunbathe. It is very rocky towards the water so bro by your water shoes.

We liked everything: the location, the view of the lake, the quietness of the place, the beautiful grounds and the friendly members of staff.

We did not like the fact that there were no cups, cutlery or glasses provided! There is a fridge and a microwave so the expectation is that guests will bring in food! If the resort cannot provide glasses, caps, plates and cutlery then they should be encouraged to bring their own!

The server at the restaurant wasn't friendly. It was not busy at all, but we had to go inside to request service a few times. This spoiled the otherwise amazing experience
