Love this hotel and the location. I was traveling with my sister and niece, and it's perfect for families who want the extra ability to cook breakfast, eat in, and bring back takeout after busy days of traveling. The hotel location is in the middle of a ton of restaurants of all types, cute shopping locations, and historic sites are walking distance (Note Palace is closed on Tuesday!!). We were able to walk from here to the "hop on hop off" bus ( the easiest place to pick it up is outside the palace gates). Also close to Subway and Trains station for KTX to Busan. There is a Korean BBQ restaurant attached to the hotel on one side and a coffee house on the other back door entrance. The hotel staff are friendly, super helpful, information, speak perfect English and can give you great advice. We got advice on our trips, luggage, and trip to Busan. Rooms are very spacious. All have individual AC, and beds are comfy. We did ask for extra pillows as used to thicker pillows at home. Was no problem. Rooms, towels, sheets are immaculately clean, well serviced rooms with housekeeping changing towels, emptying trash, vacuuming, etc. during our stat. There is a DND button on the door, so if you need a lie in, I recommend you use that. Housekeeping respects it. There are slippers in the cabinet inside the door as well, which is handy. We used the laundry machine with no issues. It is very handy as like to travel light but be able to do laundry, and you can either use the dryer cycle or use the handy hanging rack in the utility area! For convenience, there is a 7/11 across the street, 30 seconds away, so you can get milk, bread, coffee, water, tea, oatmeal, juices, etc. on arrival. The fruit store is up the street 2 mins away and has great fruit supplies, so there are no shortages for breakfast at the hotel if you've slow-moving teenagers!!

Not a major issue as we got extra pillows, but like most foreigners from the EU/USA, the pillows are too thin. It would be great if the hotel put a few spares in the rooms, even if sealed in bags so only used by tjose need them. Most westerners are used to thicker pillows, so having spares readily accessible would help stop comments on the pillow issues as that seems to be the only irk for anyone!!🤭🥰

This is our second time staying at this hotel within a year for a family holiday, and we continue to appreciate its great location. Situated near Anguk (#3 Line) and Jongno 3(sam)-ga (#5 Line) metro stations, it offers easy access to key areas while being in a quieter part of Insadong. The room size is ample for a comfortable stay, and the surrounding area remains pleasantly uncrowded, making it an ideal spot for a more relaxed holiday. Overall, we still had a good stay, but a few improvements would make it even better.

It is starting to show signs of aging and could benefit from some renovations. The amenities are also quite limited, they provided shampoo but no conditioner, and while there was dish washing detergent, there were no hand soap in bathrooms. The bed and pillows could use an upgrade for better comfort.

Located right off the bustling main street in Insadong, the property is clean, well maintained and has all the amenities needed for a family. Kitchen comes with all necessary cooking utensils, toaster, kettle, oven, dishwasher. Double sink toilets with bathtub and shower. Laundry room with a washer/dryer machine and rack for hanging clothes (but not that there is no laundry detergent; you can cross the road and grab a pack from the 7/11 there). Staff are helpful with needs and requests for extra towels etc. Note that there is no housekeeping on weekends, but staff help with new towels and taking out the trash (if needed).

We booked a 2-bedroom apartment thinking that each room would have a queen sized bed. It was a queen in one and a single in the other. It would help if the booking info was clear from the start!

The location is really the key for Orakai. Right in the heart of Insadong, one of the best and most central areas to be if you want a downtown Seoul experience. Walking distance to many of the key tourist sites and areas. Central to many public transport stations. So many food, cafe, shopping, and bar options. The hotel itself is a great value. Good sizes rooms, clean, nice ameneties like gym and pool. Beds are firm are comfortable. The hotel is modern and so isn't cozy feeling like higher end hotels. But we thought it was great.

Our room had some wear and tear to it. Modern hotels tend to show use quicker because of the design. But nothing that was a problem and everything worked well.

Good value for money, at the center of Seoul, it is not easy to find a family apartment incl. cleanning but this place gave me all options that I was looking for. Easy to access to metro, bus and all types of transportation, and access to most of activities. Having two teen-aged children who wish to have their own room during our stay, this place was a good choice.

During the weekend, room cleaning service was not provided, Also breakfast was not optimal (very limited choice of foods). Temporarily, there was a big construction on-going next to the hotel premise, so it was a bit unconvenient.

It was right next to the main street in Insadong and incredibly spacious. The entrance to the hotel is modern and staff were pretty friendly and spoke reasonable English. The 7-Eleven being just across the road was really handy for getting small items as needed.

The rooms are in need of some attention and repairs - for example, there was wallpaper ripped off the walls in several areas. Amenities were not provided for the second bathroom. Pillows were super flat and therefore not very comfortable. Some of the bed linens were reasonably stained, which was a bit offputting.

Love the location, right in the middle of Insadong. So close to all the trendy cafes and restaurants nearby. Also so close to many attractions within walking distances. The space of having an apartment is luxurious compared to staying in a hotel. So handy having a washing machine to wash clothes (it was hot sweaty during July) and cooking facilities for those days you don't feel like eating out.

Very minor things, not deal breakers at all. The cleanliness around the kitchen benches could have been better and the floors felt a bit sticky initially. We had it cleaned one time during the week we were there, and the floors felt so much better! The couches could be more comfortable (a bit hard), maybe a cushion or two, when lounging about but not the end of the world.

Amazing location. Rooms were big and comfortable. My daughter loved the pool. I enjoyed the gym. Coffee shop just outside and seven eleven opposite the entrance. Loads of shops and restaurants within a short walk. Clean and spacious communal areas. Staff very polite and friendly.

Minor issues: We were expected to do our own washing up (no problem at all) but there was no liquid or cloths/sponges provided. Sofa was very hard and no cushions. TV was not smart so very limited English content and nothing for kids. No laundry pods provided so we had to buy some. All very small problems but would have made a big difference.

We stayed in Orakai Insadong Suites at the start and end of our trip in spacious one-bedroom apartments and both were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Although we only had one pillow each, a quick phone call and two more were delivered promptly to our room. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. They were happy for us to leave our luggage after checkout so we could use the day sightseeing. Excellent location, 5–10 minutes' walk from the Incheon airport limousine 6011 bus stop at Anguk Station. Also close to Jongno3 station for Gimpo Airport, Han River and Suseo Station for the SRT trains, with easy transfers to other parts of Seoul. Very close to local attractions e.g. Cheonggyecheon Stream, Changgyeonggung Palace and the handcraft stores/local restaurants in Insadong.

The hotel is excellent, but note that the carpets are not burnt and not good. When I asked to check out, I asked to extend the check-out until 2 o'clock, and he refused to give me only an hour. There is not enough flexibility, but the location is excellent, the cleanliness is excellent, the reception is excellent, and the price is reasonable.
