Great location within easy walking distance everywhere. Many bars and tapas around. Friendly staff, Carla makes the best sangria!! Excellent breakfat!! Worth pay it!

The location was perfect!! Right in the heart of the city. All transportation was 2 minutes away.

The room was okay, but not great. The curtains were ripped in many places..It was clean but not super clean (there were some hair on the toilet/bathroom area, etc). Also, something that I just really found "cheap". When we arrived, we paid the taxes. It was 66€. Turns out it was 66,88€. It's okay, I found the 80 cents but couldn't find the other 8 cents. The rest of the group was searching for a bit in their wallets, and the receptionist was ... waiting (!!!). I don't know, I just thought that this was sooo cheap, it didn't sit right with me. And to make things worse, we finally gave her 10 cents, and she ASKED IF we wanted the 2 cents back....Of course we said no, we were so embarrassed on her behalf. This is no proper behavior for a hotel.

The location was ideal, within walking distance of a number of significant areas. The staff member on check in was great, and the bar staff were lovely (the sangria was delicious.) The room was basic but provided all we needed. It was all clean, quiet and towels replenished when needed. There was a small fridge in the room which was ideal given it being summer and the room being warm.

The only real negative was the room temperature and lack of cooling. We did give feedback on the temperature of the room early in our stay - despite reducing the temperature on the system on the wall, we could not get the room to cool. We did ask at reception for someone to take a look, and the gentleman on the desk said he would get that arranged, but we heard nothing back. Unfortunately this led to a a few uncomfortable nights sleep. We were also on level 5, which meant a lift to level 2, climbing about 6-8 steps, then getting a second lift up to level 5. Whilst not far, it isn't ideal when you have heavy suitcases to carry.

Staff were great, breakfast was fantastic and location excellent.

Hotel seems to be 2 premises knocked into one so needed 2 separate lifts and some steps to get to the room we had, which could be an issue for less mobile people. Room was a bit smaller than expected with constant 24C and air con wasn’t working. Reported but not fixed during our stay.

The staff were very kind to let me check in earlier since the room was available. Breakfast was delicious as per usual and the TV offered quite a few channels, something I wasn't expecting to use but ended up having to.

I had a technical issue with my room in specific. The power outlet under the table wasn't working and the one beside the bed only worked if the reading lights were on. Something to do with the wiring, I guess. The bed foot was also made of a sharp metal and it hurt quite a lot whenever I accidentally hit it with my foot.

It was located within a 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas, along the walk you pass many shops; Stradivarius, Pandora, Zara. There are mini marts within minutes. It is 10 minutes walk to the main square which is also surrounded by the main shops, hop on hop off bus; Primark, Department store. Metro within 2 minutes. The room was basic, reasonably spacious, clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. There is a room safe, a desk, TV, no tea and coffee facilities. The lift requires a swipe card to get to each level which adds some security. The hotel will happily hold luggage upon check out if you are waiting to transfer. Reception staff spoke English and were helpful.

Would have liked tea and coffee facilities included.

Great location. Friendly staffs. Room was ready 3 hours earlier than check in time. Could leave our bags at the reception on the check out day.

Only one thing..more of an advice to the future visitor, if you get a room that starts with 6..it is on the 6th floor which is actually in another building. The receptionist on the day that we arrived, she did try to explain to us but it wasn’t really clear. She did say we had to take the second lift but what confusing was when I asked her if the room was on the 2nd floor, she said yes. Anyway, after asking the 2 nice cleaning ladies we saw on the way, they explained that the room is actually in another building but can get there by taking the second lift to the 6th floor. It was a bit exhausting and confusing trying to find the room. Other than that all was good.

Our room in particular was very spacious which was lovely. We were comfortable and the balcony was a great addition to the room, though it could have used some lights or plants to spruce it up a bit. The breakfast everyday was also really great, was always happy with the selection.

It is a very old building and clearly some maintenance is needed. While our room was clean it severely needed a deep clean as there was a thick layer of dust on the bed frame and in the door leading to the balcony (as shown in pictures).

For a 3 star hotel it really offers good service. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast has a good spread and the bedrooms are clean and are equipped with a fridge and safe. All and all therefore better than I expected. In addition, the location is great and has a metro station around the corner. Would recommend this hotel.

Possibly the fact that the airconditioning seems to be limited to not go below around 24 degrees, which is pretty normal for Spain however too warm to sleep for most Northern Europeans. If it could be even a few degrees less, that would help.

The location was just perfect. 2 minutes away from the bus station (A1 from airport). and 2 minutes from everywhere else in town. The breakfast was perfect (I will definitely go back for it). staff were friendly and the room was very quiet given the hotel is located in city centre. there was an Aldi store nearby and lots of restaurants and bars. again, I can't emphasize enough on the breakfast.

the room was very small. I also didn't like the bathroom. the bed was a little bit uncomfortable for first night but I got used to it. there was only one plug in my room and made it hard to charge everything. Given the reasonable price I paid, I think it was worth it.
