The room was a good size and comfortable. The place was very clean, the AC was working really well. Very close to the beach and close to a supermarket. The employees were all very nice and welcoming.

My car was hit while parked in their parking lot and the driver left without leaving a note. There is no camera where the cars are parked so I got a “sorry this happened “ from the management but that was it. I paid for parking so my car will be safe … They should monitor their parking with cameras so this does not happen. The area around the hotel is very quiet with not a lot to do at night or even during the day besides going to the beach and there are very few restaurants close by beside the ones that are by the beach ( mediocre food) and the hotel restaurant that we did not try. The pool is small and there are not a lot of chairs around it so come early in the morning to claim one.

This hotel exceeded all of my expectations despite me being a frequent traveller. The staff is very young and energetic besides being more than willing to go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible. The hotel interiors are fantastic and the overall hotel facilities are spotless and fantastic. Cleanliness and hygiene are top class. The proximity to the beach 🏖️ is very welcoming. The hotel staff went out of their way to keep our luggage for 3 days after we checked out. I shall always be thankful to the hotel. The surrounding are is very quiet and serene. The taxi stand right at the door of the hotel is very helpful. Swimming pool, gym and spa are nice. The bar and restaurant are high quality but surprisingly reasonably priced.

Nothing they are perfect

Christmas visit to explore Barcelona, Montserrat and Blanes. The pleasant hotel had a sauna and steam room which we wanted if the weather was bad but we were blessed with a week of winter sunshine. We stayed in Barcelona for 4 days 3 nights which wasn’t enough time to see all the sights along with visiting numerous flea markets. Plenty of varied eateries nearby however we spent quite a bit of time at the friendly in-house restaurant. Room was slightly on the small size for 3 adults but pleasant. My son had issues with the shower temperature fluctuating. It was nice to have the spa facilities but unisex changing and a little concerned no panic button as it was in a tucked away location.

Firstly, the location. We came for the Primavera Sound festival that takes place in Parc del Forum. There were both buses passing outside of the hotel, and a nearby stop of the L4 metro line that could take us there easily. Also, it was approximately a 30-min walk from the festival which is what we opted for after the festival wrapped up to avoid the hectic buses. In addition, the hotel rooms were super comfortable, much needed after some tiring nights. Finally, the swimming pool was a large perk for a relaxing day in.

Nothing was very negative, but some food for thought - there could be more sunbeds or chairs around the swimming pool to accommodate more people. We never managed to find space around the swimming pool (although the net chairs down the stairs were very comfortable). Finally, a personal sigh was that the cleaning ladies threw away a paper that had our temporary tattoos on that we wanted to apply before the festival. I assume they didn't understand what it was, but they could have been more vigilant about it.

When we arrived, we received a voucher for welcome drinks from reception, which was a nice surprise :) The lobby is nice a spacious with a restaurant and bar in the back, and an outside seating area. The swimming pool is a nice size, but not warm, so if you come between October - March, it will most likely be too chilly to swim in. Towels are available at the pool and inside the gym as well. The hotel room was spacious enough for 3 people (triple room) and very clean. It came with a safe, mini fridge (with 2x bottles of complimentary water) and coffee/tea making facilities. The bathroom was also very clean and comes with a toilet, bidet, bath and shower. Towels are changed when asked, so if you don’t need them changed, put a do not disturb sign outside your door. The restaurant in the hotel does some very good food and there is a large choice of drinks, including cocktails. It was about a 5 minute walk to the beach from the hotel, and there are some nice restaurants there. There are several buses that stop right outside the hotel, going towards the city centre (which takes about 20 minutes), and the closest metro (Bogatell) is about a 10 minute walk away.

Unfortunately, the hot tub next to the pool didn’t work and the door to the gym and sauna/steam rooms took forever to try and open. I suggest a new lock or battery in it, because people had to leave a towel at the bottom to keep the door propped open.

Breakfast buffet price was in line with wide range of choices. Not overpriced than many places. Room and hotel was clean and nice. Even hotel is on quiet neighborhood not on city center there are really good connections by bus and metro. Direct bus route takes to Barceloneta beach or couple stops to metro station. Also nearest beach is only 5 minutes walk away. Staff on reception was helpful when needed some services.

Hotel would need some maintenance. Card locks should be replaces as they seem end of life. Some of those are not working like reliable in elevator and gym access. It seems that room air con was switched off on whole hotel. It wasn't really hot on October, but still room air is getting bad at night without air con.

Great location close to beach in quiet residential area well placed for access to city and local bars and restaraunts. Rooms cleaned daily immaculate on return from sight seeing .Good breakfast ..wide selection and pleasant courteous staff. My room was on 4th floor and the two lifts were very fast and never overcrowded....always available hardly ever had to wait.

My flight arrived early morning so room wasnt ready at 10.00am for an early check in despite a previous request on booking...but staff were very helpful and allowed access to change and freshen up and secured my bad in their luggage room so still had the benefit of the day .Room was ready on my return at 3.00pm.

The public facilities (lobby, dining area, pool etc) look very clean and have a modern aesthetic. The breakfasts were great, with a lot of variety. And, the location provided great access to both the beach and the main sites in the city. Lobby staff were very friendly, helpful and happy to accommodate.

Rooms felt a little dated with clear signs of overuse. Generally felt in need of renovation. However, they were perfectly usable. There was a strange and inconvenient recurring issue where my keycard wouldn’t work and needed to be reset at the front-desk every time after housekeeping had been. It was a little annoying to have to go back and forth between lobby and my room go solve this. But again, staff were happy to help and were apologetic.

We arrived a little bit earlier, were offered either to wait 3-4 hours for the room to be ready or to pay extra (though at a discounted rate) for the room upgrade and immediate move-in. We decided to upgrade the room and move in immediately, as we had some places to visit in the city that day. Overall, the room was good, with a nice view, located not far from the beach and several blocks away from the closest metro station, and with many places to eat nearby.

Although the room had a jacuzzi, the water pressure was so unstable that the use of it seemed questionable. Another thing is the A/C system in the room. It looked like it was set to sustain the constant temperature, which seemed a bit chilly, and adjusting the temperature upwards didn't make any difference. Also, the hotel's restaurant. The menu is basic and overpriced, with the service close to non-existent. It seemed like it was easier to win the lottery than to catch the waiter. A couple of times, I had to stand up and go to the bar stand myself to ask the waiter for a menu, to order something else, or to ask for the bill. Overall, the stay at the hotel was ok, but I think I'll look for another one during my next stay in Barcelona.

The hotel is well placed for the City but is in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle which is nice. If you like walking its easy to walk into the main areas but it takes about 45 minutes. You can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes. The rooms were a good size (not huge) and they were very clean and well looked after. Nice to have a bath and a shower in the room. Really good breakfast with a great choice of food to suit everyone. Nice reception area. Nice terrace, although the bar wasn't in operation when we were there. There is a reasonable size pool with a jacuzzi. Not heated though. The staff did an excellent job when there was a complete power outage across the whole of Spain, but still managed to put breakfast on the next day. Obviously it wasn't the full choice but still really good - WELL DONE!!

Despite having tea and coffee making facilities in the room, no milk is provided. Had we known we would have bought at the supermarket because when I was advised to ask for milk at the restaurant I duly did so and they then charged me 3 euros for a small amount. I queried this but they said that they don't offer free milk ??? Also, the small bottles of water are not replaced each day. I think for the cost of the water this would be a nice touch. These are only small things but they make a difference between good to great. The gym, sauna and steam room has no changing rooms as such and are quite small but at least they have them.
