The staff were really friendly and informative, the rooms were okay. There isnt much you can do about circulation but be strategic with how to open the doors considering they are chained. Also the room scents largely depend on the group in the room as i was there over a few days and sometimes it was good sometimes we needed air. Oh, and if you can, Tuesdays and thursday nights are Paella night, do give it a try. They also do their best to organize daily group activities.

uummm, the limited bathrooms for such a big group. sometimes you'd have to go to another floor in case yours was full or being cleaned or being maintained.

The bed is soft and clean 🤗🤗🤗 Tom and Melony are my top best receptionists. They are so professional and perform their tasks with dignity ✍️

Some guys secretly smoke weed in the room at night so please mention to all guests that this is strictly prohibited. In my room, I saw three guys on the window, hid behind the curtain and were smoking weed around 2:00 AM. This was unpleasant for me at that moment but I was scared to prompt the management about this. Aside this your services are top notch 🙏

My wallet was stolen on the Metro from the airport. I am very grateful that the staff at Safestay did what they could to make my Crisis less problematic. This shows good heart. Thanks. Be warned that pickpocketing in Barcelona is rampant and that they are very skilled at their trade I have travelled the world and BCN was the first place I got mugged, before even the train left the station:)

The location was very impressive and the Hostel was great. Too bad I had to spend all my time finding a way to get Cash after my wallet was stolen on the Subway

Great place to commute from the airport as you can get the airbus from plaça de catalunya, and when very early regular bus also runs from a very close spot to the hostel.

Shower can be a bit tricky to get the right temperature especially because of the time constraint, it also may soak the bathroom wet even when closed, but that is just a detail

It was conveniently located towards the center of Barcelona, which is very nice to traverse the city.

The bar on the roof closed before closing time. I usually like to sit on the rooftop bars and enjoy a frosty adult beverage before I retire for the night. I was abruptly shooshed out. by the attendant in the cafeteria area almost 20 minutes before closing. I understand that people get tired of working, but closing early is not the way when you have travelers that have been traveling all day trying to unwind before they go to sleep after all is service that should be provided, always at least until closing time before.

The property is really in a good location. It is very accessible with almost all tourist attractions. The metro is also nearby the property.

They don't change towels daily. No shampoos, conditioner, shower gel provided. No kettle or even fridge in the room. No complimentary coffee or tea provided. The staffs in level 1 were very loud especially this morning around 9am. My room is nearby the cleaning room/staff room. They were all talking loudly in the morning. Someone keeps trying opening my door in the night. I am unsure who it was. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Excellent location, even Passeigh de gracia is a busy road. The 4 people female dorm was quiet. There was a locker which fitted my bottle bag's. Toilet and shower was clean.

Every room should have a fan at summer heat. Or air-conditioning would be even better. Mattress was plastic which is great for hygiene which I appreciate but it's then even hotter. Fan would help.

It had a lovely view of the city and was within easy walking distance to the train station. There was a 24 hour staff for check in. Quiet rooms.

The bathroom could do with a rug as it was very hard to not get the floors wet when taking a shower in a small cubicle but otherwise all was good!

The common areas in this hostel are absolutely phenomenal. There is a very well set up front desk that made singing in fast and easy, a second floor restaurant / bar and rooftop bar! This provided lots of opportunities to hang out and meet other travelers. There was also a very affordable Paella dish on Thursday night that was nice to have. There is bag storage as well which was very convenient to use. The location is incredible as well, you are staying on one of the nicest streets in the city just a block away from La Casa Batllo and close to many resaurants, bars, and activities. The streets are easily walkable, clean, and safe, and are filled with people while not being crammed. There is also a subway stop just a block from the hostel.

The room itself is not great but serviceable. We stayed in a 4 bed that barely had any floorspace or furniture other than 2 bunk beds and lockers. One of the lockers was filled with bathroom products that were covered in grime and seemed to have been left by a prior guest. The shower is unusual, at least coming from America, as it is designed to save water and does not produce a constant flow. I appreciate the goal here but it was definitely unexpected. A bath mat of sorts would work wonders, nearly everyone in my group slipped in the bathroom once the floor got wet. It would also be nice to have some sort of nightlight in the bathroom, the only light has a switch in the main room, so you have to turn it on in there which can be annoying to people sleeping.
