That was our final stop on the way through Florida, and we were happy with our choice. Overall rating: 4.5/5. The hotel consists of suites only; however, do not expect separate living and bedroom areas—they are all in one relatively spacious room. The hotel is very well maintained and has everything one might need for a short stay. We were lucky to book a room with a view of the bay, which was particularly beautiful thanks to the large windows on two sides. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was okay, though there is definitely room for improvement in the variety of food offered. The breakfast starting time of 6 a.m. (Monday to Friday) was very convenient for us. From this hotel, you can easily reach Clearwater Beach, Honeymoon Island, and Sand Key, all offering beautiful beaches with plenty of space. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable but could be improved. Overall, a clear recommendation for singles, couples, and families!

Among other things, the location! We are Blue Jay fans that wanted to take in a spring training game. We had no idea that TD Ballpark was walkable from the hotel. A gorgeous walk along Edgewater Drive or the Pinellas Trail. Also, those take you to Main St Dunedin which is a must. The lobby always has fresh cold water and yummy chocolate chip cookies for a snack. Breakfast was good! Thanks Brian and staff for a wonderful stay! The Ambrose’s

Our TV didn’t work the 1st night but the manager came from home to try to reset it. They gave us access to another room to watch TV that evening and it was fixed the next morning. They could use a bit of a bigger breakfast area but it was busy so that’s why every table was taken. Otherwise, nothing else to say.

Room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. I did not wake up in time for breakfast, but was told it was very good. I am glad the front desk sold cans of beer, since there are no bars or restaurants within walking distance. Excellent staff. Wendy offered to upgrade my room to an ocean view at check in, but I didn't need it at that time. I don't remember the overnight desk clerk, but she was very helpful as well.

This property has been completely renovated and they did an excellent job. Not only does it look nice, the renovation has been very well thought out. Good lighting where you need it. A place to put your luggage. A very nicely appointed bathroom. You might take these for granted but I’m amazed at how often these important details overlooked. The attention to details makes for a much more comfortable and enjoyable stay. To top it all off the hotel is immaculately clean. A big thumbs up to housekeeping!

Our room was very clean and the housekeeping staff was very efficient and friendly. The breakfast was good and there were several choices. Some days it wasn't ready by the time they were supposed to open.

There were no restaurants within close proximity to the hotel.

I have lived in Pinellas County for over 45 yrs and the Dunedin area for over twenty. This location is on the Dunedin/Clearwater border facing St Joseph Sound (part of the Gulf). It is beautiful!! My room didn’t face the water, but I took several walks daily along the water and through the wonderful neighborhoods that flank the hotel. The staff was wonderful particularly the agent who checked me in. My dog was over their weight limit (I was not aware during my booking that this existed), but she didn’t turn me away. My dog is well behaved (shy) but the staff greeted him and welcomed my cat too. My dog loved his walks. Nice pet fee too—they did not gouge me. The room was large and clean. Very quiet even with construction going on next door.

Breakfast was good. Little more $ per night, but I love this area! You really are paying for the location. Only issue was weak shower spray. Didn’t affect my stay. I would stay again.

The room was incredible. Very clean and modern ... and spacious. Also, the beds were so comfortable. I got a great night sleep. Also, there is a very nice sidewalk across the street, which follows the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico. You can walk down to Dunedin if you want. It was such a beautiful walk. The hotel staff (behind the counter) were incredible. Very nice and helpful. And the breakfast was very good. I think the price is fair for that area.

The worker, who was taking care of breakfast, placed the eating utensils with the eating end outword (in the round utensil containers), which is a hygiene issue, since anyone and everyone, who grabs a fork/knife/spoon is going to touch the other ones. I showed her this, and she got the message and fixed it, despite the language barrier. English was clearly not her first language; she could barely speak English.

The room was very large and included a couch and work station. The location is great as it looks out onto Clearwater Harbor and the Edgewater Drive Park. Breakfast is included with the room and it included make it yourself waffles, eggs, bacon or sausage (varies daily) bagels, cereals, oatmeal, fruit juice, coffee, tea, ect. Would definitely stay here again.

We were allocated one of the recently renovated room was has been completed to a high standard with excellent views across the water. Although there was still renovation working being done this did not impact on us at all and disruption was kept to a minimum. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee available in reception and breakfast had everything we needed. The location is great for touring in the car, if you wanted a drink we recommend using the shore front trolley that that run till late into Dunedin itself. The bike rental store in Dunedin is a great way to get around and the hotel has bike storage if needed.

Great location near Downtown Dunedin, close to Honeymoon Island state park, not far from Tarpon Springs. Clean, friendly & accommodating. Large rooms with hard floors, no icky hotel carpet. We traveled with our extended family (10 people, 3 generations) and even brought our greyhound (a very well behaved retired racer) and everything was great!
