The Staff was exceptional here. The building is super safe. I went for an event in downtown Clearwater, and I walked everywhere easily. Breakfast was great. The hotel was super clean and well-kept, and our room was wonderful. I did not take my dog, but a lot of other guests had their pets, and it appeared to be super pet friendly. The only thing that makes this a 9 instead of a 10 was the wifi. I had zero signal inside the building, so it was difficult for me to even log in to the free wifi. I like to stay at Residence Inn hotels when I travel due to the consistency of great service, but this wifi was terrible. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay.

everyone was friendly, the breakfast included was very nice addition. we were able to enjoy enough vegetarian options to start our day. My room request was granted, no problem. Loved having a kitchenette. we brought our own drinks put them in the fridge. and we were able to bring back leftover lunch and then heated it up after our event that night on the stove which was really great. We were able to walk to downtown for our event and back. This is probably the first time I feel like I truly got my money's worth in a hotel stay.

in fact the only issue we had was that the fan to the AC unit was extremely loud and located right next to the bed. so we couldn't put it on auto as we woke up every single time it came on or shut off so we kept it on all night. but it was still loud.

My experience at the Residence Inn in Clearwater was a blend of comfort and minor inconveniences. The staff’s behavior varied notably, seemingly influenced by the time of day and the guests’ attire. This inconsistency was surprising, as their service seemed swayed by personal moods and and circumstances. Overall, while the hotel offers the basic comforts expected of a Residence Inn, the overall service and amenities could benefit from improvements for a more consistent and satisfying stay.

An inconsistency in service was evident when I requested toothpaste. Initially, a staff member informed me there was none available, but the next morning, another employee readily provided ample samples. This lack of uniformity in meeting guest needs was puzzling. The room was uncomfortably cold for the season, and despite efforts, adjusting the temperature proved challenging. Additionally, the kettle in the room seemed outdated and in need of replacement. Modern amenities, like simple accessories for charging smartphones, were noticeably absent. Providing these essentials either in the rooms or as available loans would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Centrally located … close proximity to beach, Dunedin. etc. Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job touching up suite.

A few of the electrical outlets in bedrooms were sketchy. When plugging in a device, the outlet was “loose” … plug would dangle a bit. In smaller bedroom … near tv … outlet not completely covered and when I tried to use it, it sparked. Furniture looks a bit worn in livingroom/stains on couch.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The pool was nice, and breakfast was really good. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. They even lit the fire pit at night for us, despite the weather being hot.

The only negative is that it isnt located closer to the beach. That is no fault of the hotel. I didn't know the area when I booked. Only because parking is hard to find when you visit the beach and it would have been nice to be within walking distance. However, the price and accommodations of this hotel definitely make it worth the drive!

Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious.

We did not like being confronted by homeless people in the parking lot asking for handouts, and then seeing those same people sneaking into the breakfast area stealing breakfast and running out the door. We didn’t like that the park like area behind the hotel is where the homeless congregate and sleep by the pond. We also didn’t like that I found a lower price on booking.com for the exact same room/time/location/facility and booking.com wouldn’t honor the price. We sent the requested documents 3-4 times, with screen shots of the lower price, and booking.com continued to send us the same request every time we responded with the requested documents, with verified screen shots of lower pricing.

The location was great! I stayed in the suit on 7th floor, and was very comfortable. It has a full kitchen with appliances, table to sit at, and also a sectional living room with couch and table with tv. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a regular shower and toilet sectioned off from the closet area with sink (amazing full size mirror!) everything included for bathroom utilities:)

The room had a weird smell of seafood…could have been from the people who stayed prior.

Very easy check in process. I liked that I felt safe traveling since I was traveling alone. You have to use your room card for the elevator to take you to your floor which I appreciated. Parking was easy and close to the entrance. The best part was the super soft cozy bed and quiet atmosphere.

I had to leave at 6am but hot breakfast wasn't available until 7am

Our room was very clean, the pool was the cleanest I have ever seen at a hotel property and not crowded at all, the pool chairs were very comfortable,the water pressure was great and water got very hot. Breakfast was exceptionally and the staff were all very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!!!!

Our only complaint is the pillows are not the best but next time we will just bring our own not that big of a deal.
