When I checked in I was asked for a credit card to cover incidentals and a damage fee. When I checked out I was told the refund was issued and I should see the refund in my bank account in 7-10 days. It's been 6 weeks and nothing. Every attempt to contact the property leads nowhere. I finally was able to talk to someone in reservations who told me that the refund was never issued. Don't plan to get your refund because you won't. I'm just getting leads that end nowhere. I suppose they think you will eventually give up. Very frustrating. I won't stay there again.

This hotel is in a prime location. 2 blocks from the beach and 1 block from the shops and restaurants. You can enjoy the whole South Beach experience yet return to a fabulous hotel that is quiet allowing a wonderful nights sleep. The rooms are spacious and the bed is so comfortable. The staff are exceptional. Nothing is a problem for them. The staff on reception are always helpful, and with a welcoming smile. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast work really hard. I watched them respond to many guests, some who were less than pleasant yet staff just approached everyone with respect and sorted out every small issue.

I cannot think of one thing we don’t like

The rooms where clean and very spacious. The Hotel was nice and the Staff was great. The location was very good, just 2 blocks from the beach. They gave you towels and chairs on the beach. If you plan to go to the beach, this is the best. The pool was small, but perfect, at least on the dates we went

Our rooms where on a second building in the same complex, with no elevator. Luckily we were on the ground level, but I had a big and heavy luggage. If I have to carry those for stairs, I was not going to be happy

The best thing about this hotel is its location, staff, and cleanliness. We loved walking the 2 blocks to the beach, shops, restaurants etc from this hotel. It is centrally located to everything you need. The staff was amazing, very accommodating and pleasant the entire 4 days that we were there. The rooms and bath are a bit small but kept very clean. Housekeeping came everyday to clean and make the beds. Over all experience in this boutique hotel is 10 out of 10.

Wifi was a little iffy. Kept going off and on, but we managed.

I've stayed on Pestana Portugal prior to my experinece at the one in Miami, if you are looking for boutique hotel, spacious room and excellent treatment, you need to stay there, they also offer voucher to stay at the South Beach area reserved for guest - which it was a plus to me. Shout out to the best team ever: Ricardo, Christian and Tomas really makes the difference and love what they do. Caring and very helpful. I 100% recommend and I am constantly traveling

I wanted to stay longer and just booked one day

I stayed at the Pestana hotel with a friend of mine for 5 days. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. There was a mini fridge in the room and a coffee maker. The toiletries included shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion which was great as these are hard to get through TSA at the airport and buying the travel size is just pricy. Also toothpaste is provided for free but you need ask the front desk. There’s a hair dryer as well. The AC worked fine but it could get kind of cold when it’s set at 24C, and 25C was too hot. The location is great very close to the beach and to the main streets where shops and restaurants are. The pool seemed nice but it seemed as though no other guests really used it, so it was kind of quiet and private.

We were tea drinkers and there was nothing in the room to boil the water with although there were tea bags in the room, we had to ask for a an electric kettle which was given to us. Also there was only one chair in the room whereas it was a two bedroom room for two people, we stayed in for breakfast so one of us had to sit on the bed to eat. And the wifi was really weak in our room but it was ok every where else in the hotel as far as we tried

Location is fantastic - one street behind some great restaurants and walking distance from all the other streets and the beach. (Try Rosetta Bakery for breakfast!) I'm always picky about the bed and pillow but they are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly, goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. A few staff members even remembered my name! Rooms are spacious and two free water bottles are provided daily. Can definitely recommend!

Walls are thin between the rooms and staff/guests can be noisy with closing doors. (I woke up several times at night/in the morning due to that) Can be easily fixed with a soft-close mechanism. Fridge/AC can be noisy at night but luckily they are easy to turn off and control yourself.

The room and bed were small, nothing different than any other Miami hotel. it was a bit expensive but again nothing different than any other Miami hotel. The swimming pool was nice and big with lots of chairs to lie down. The bathroom was small but clean. It is on 18th and Collins so walk to Ocean drive takes about 10 mins then walk to main area with restaurants takes about 20-30 mins.

They greeted us and were very helpful with getting us into and to our room. Helped with bags, had pastries in the room for us, and gave us towels for the beach/pool. We unfortunately didn’t get to use either, but I’ll be back to definitely take advantage of it next time.

Nothing. I loved it all. Location was perfect. Actually— no parking, but there’s a lot across from the hotel that has 24hr parking.

It’s was on a great location. Friendly staff. Good amenities and very nice and comfortable room. Good space and clean, comfortable bed. Great beach access with sunbeds and umbrellas.

First day the room beside us had 2 kids and they were extremely noisy, the staff didn’t do anything.
