Fantastic hotel, fab location, super central. Lovely room, stunning view of Chicago buildings. We just loved everything and we will surely be back! Highly recommend this hotel!!

The only thing I did not like is that our TV was acting a bit funny. I could not watch certain channels as the TV would switch off and on again intermittently - annoying because I really wanted to watch one of those channels given I do not live in the US, it was my only chance, but overall negligeable flaw compared to the whole experience.

I loved that everything I needed was in one location. Loved the downstairs bar/lobby, the pantry, tasty drinks and food! I appreciated the daily $25 discounts, as well. It was a great price for such a nice hotel.

Our room was great and the view didn’t disappoint. However, there was a hair clog or something in our bathroom sink…gross. The sink drained super slowly when we noticed it. Maintenance fixed it while we were out, but it’s disappointing to have gross stuff not going down your sink. Housekeeping should’ve noticed and the hotel staff could’ve apologized about it when we checked out. Ohhh , there a 6 elevators, but the wait in the am was loooonnnnnnng. Everyone noticed it and it was a running joke in the packed elevators.

Great location in the fancy part of Chicago (although I did prefer the vibe of staying in the Loop- my previous accommodation in Chicago a bit better). Hotel was extremely nice! Room was very spacious and bed was really comfy. Lighting in the bathroom was great for doing my make up!

The handles on the door to get in the shower were a bit weird. Would have been better if they were inside and outside for both doors. Also the towel hook was above the toilet, would be better on the wall next to the door instead.

I liked the location for walking to restaurants and tourist destinations. I was there for a conference and the conference center was nice. The bed was comfortable. The room was really clean and the housekeeping service was great. I liked that despite the small room size, the space was laid out really well.

My biggest complaint is that the heating/cooling system in the room was extremely loud. The room was a bit too small for two people, so I would have had to pay for a bigger room to bring my spouse. The hotel lobby bar and cafe were extremely expensive for slightly above average food/beverages. Getting around the hotel and conference center was a bit confusing because there were two elevators that stopped at a different set of floors and the conference center escalators skipped floors. I also heard that the food provided at the conference center was terrible.

The bar staff were friendly and most especially Gloria at reception. She made sure that my needs were attended to. She took extra care also to take in our baggage when the bell man was not available. I had vowed never to return to a Marriott, but Gloria was exceptional, and l was pleased.

Location , additionally, the hotel has the best room cleaning staff of all the Marriott Hotels I’ve been in, and believe me I have been using Marriott for More than 12 years. My congratulations 🎉 to the housekeeping room cleaning staff.

Some noise from adjoining room was discomforting, view from window of rooftop astroturf wasn’t great aesthetically, and prices were so expensive that complementary $25 didn’t cover 2 drinks

Great property and location - close to trains and walking distance to restaurants, clothing shops, and supermarkets.

I was surprised for marathon weekend, they didn’t have restaurants opened by 5am. I understand how odd that timing might be but it was surprising nonetheless.
