Excellent location for our needs! Breakfast was consistently adequate with plenty of choices both hot and cold. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was a hotel guest who appeared to be under the influence of (hard) drugs, and perhaps was even dealing drugs from the hotel. The guest was not a problem in any way, but it was not a good look for a hotel with a lot of family and young persons in house. Also, there was a leak in our room over the bedside table during a particularly heavy downpour. I understood that we could not be moved due to a full hotel that evening, but I would have expected some sort of compensation for our trouble.

The breakfast had many options and was well presented. Rooms were clean and quiet. The location is ideal to get around all areas of this side of the state. Easy use of Route 1 and I95 and rural routes. Checkout time of 12 is not early, which is family friendly. On site pool availability.

We left a bag on the table with child's toys in, within the room, which the hotel has no record of. Albeit our mistake for leaving behind, I would expect cleaning staff/ hotel staff to add this to lost & found - i hope this bag is found and reported back to us as requested. The pool was cold and the white paintwork around the poolside was flaking off, sticking to feet and clothing unfortunately.

The breakfast had a great assortment and my family enjoyed the room amenities (kitchenette, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds). The staff were friendly and quick when we requested extra blankets and pillows. The room was clean and perfect for our large family!

Some of the tv channels had no signal or not working. We weren't in our room most of the day so it wasn't a big deal. Also not sure if it was network issues or the hotel's fault. It wasn't bad as we had other options, it was just a mild inconvenience.

Our check in person was extremely helpful. The Hotel has a social salad bar on Wednesday evening for the guest to mingle. We stayed in a King room with our 3 year old he slept in the bed with us and it was nice to put him to bed shut the door and watch tv in the main room. The room was an accessible room and all seemed to be in order as far as meeting the requirements of the Massachusetts Architectural Accessibility Board requirements, this is used in place of ADA Guidelines. The room was clean and the only odor was pleasant from the fabulouso used to clean the room. I will definitely stay here again and the Sonic Nextdoor is a bonus!

When we arrived we were a little concerned that the hotel was closed for renovations. The exterior was getting a facelift and we were not aware of this work it would have been nice had the hotel stated this was going on and despite the windows being masked off and all the equipment at the front of the building they would be open. The construction didn’t bother our stay in the least, the hotel had was perfectly put together on the inside. I didn’t hear any noise or work going on in the evening.

I did not realize my room came with a refrigerator and stove. Although, I didn't use the stove it was nice knowing it was available. The refrigerator was nice to store our expensive dinner leftovers from Boston. HAHA. The beds were very soft and the pillows fluffy. The rooms were clean. I liked having the sleeping area closed off from the living room. I didn't have to worry about sleeping while someone else was watching TV. Staff was very friendly; breakfast was a good variety and plenty to go around. I travel to Boston a few times a year, I will definitely be keeping Homewood suites at the top of my rebooking list. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Property was clean, but showing wear and tear on furniture and finishings, tub, etc. Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet, no noise from other guests, which is a strict hotel policy :), and no noise from the heating/cooling system, which worked very well. All appliances and tv worked well. Lobby was nice.

Slight odor from the refrigerator and breakfast cooking in the hotel kitchen, but the fan eliminated that. Single ply toilet paper not great and toilet handle needed to be held down to completely flush. Bathroom sink faucet was not strong on hot. With some remodeling upgrades, this hotel could be even more competitive with the other nearby hotels.

I have friends in Salem, and have been coming up to visit them pretty regularly for the last ten years. This is the first time I stayed in Homewood Suites, but it won't be the last. My husband and I were talking about never staying anywhere else! It is super close to Salem, but without Salem pricing. As a family of 5, we often have trouble finding places that can accommodate us without getting two rooms. Homewood Suites can, at the price of a single room elsewhere, and with farm more comfort and amenities!

I really have no complaints.

Room was spacious, bathroom was large, plenty of room for a family of 5 especially with the pull out couch in addition to the 2 full beds. Location of hotel was convenient to where we were traveling. Seemed like a safe area. Breakfast was good.

Guests shouldnt have to pay for parking. I picked this hotel room because of the reviews about it being very clean. Although it was mostly clean looking, the room showed a lot of wesr and tear. The floor did not seem like it was cleaned. Couch and other furniture had stains.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially one young lady whose name escapes me now. She was able to get me early check-in and late check out, which was a big help. My sister was flying in, so the 2 of us can go to a show in Lynn that evening. I was able to leave Boston and unwind before picking her up from the airport. Then, a nice late sleep before getting back on the road the next day. We're thankful and grateful for the accommodations. The room, the lobby, and the hotel in general were just lovely.

I can't say there was anything I disliked.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We were here for my son's surgery and a perfect small hotel to meet our needs. Breakfast options were good and varied, especially if you wanted to take back to your room. The kitchenette was a welcomed addition for the room with someone who is going through recovery after surgery, as well as the separate rooms that could be closed off for quiet. Only about 10 mins by Uber to Northshore Mall and Lahey Medical Center. And a special thank you for accommodating our reservation change due to the altered post op surgery needs, we really appreciate you doing this for us. We will certainly be back early next year for round 2.

Bathroom few issues, drain in sink not working and some wear and tear but this is not something that would put us off for a second booking. Did not get to use the facilities, so cannot comment on pool or gym.
