Comfortable beds and good sized room. The breakfast was coffee/juice/cake/bagel/muffin/fruit type of fare. Plentiful and fresh. The toasters were a little on the slow side but there was 2 of them. Our room was in a separate block very close to the main building and was quiet despite being close to the pool (indoor). They did not do a daily room clean, only if asked. The staff were ever ready to help. We needed our boarding passes printed which they did happily.

We had a few series of steps to tackle to get to our room. These were quite steep but manageable for us, maybe not for others.

Peaceful idyllic location, walking distance to bearskin neck. The place has a community feel because of how the rooms are laid out (like a motel). Even though the room door leads straight outside, it was still safe and quiet at night. People love the mornings here, as they chat on outdoor benches and let their kids play on the property, so my sleep was slightly disrupted. The pool was super pleasant and had a deep end, which is nice in case you want space from the parents with children. The staff were super kind and helpful, allowing us to a later check out on our last morning and bringing plastic cutlery to our room for our late night meal.

It would’ve been nice to get a more unique continental breakfast spread for the $ that folks pay for the summer time here. Less processed junk breakfast, more fruit (there was only bananas and apples) and better quality oatmeal and yogurt.

Nice area close to tourist areas (within driving, not walking) but off the beaten path, lovely landscaping, room was clean, property seems to have been remodeled not too long ago, free breakfast, adequate & clean fitness room. Outdoor seating/areas, gas grill for guest use. Did not use the pool. Close to supermarket and gas. The property is family-run and everybody seems nice.

Things that would not prevent me from staying again...maybe some umbrellas in the firepit area for daytime shade. Bring breakfast back from strictly continental to include some hot and more protein items (I would pay a reasonable fee for that) - or offer two breakfast types.

The Rockport Inn is a motel (with parking in front of your room) - but a very good motel. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The self-service breakfast was good- and included in the room price. The indoor swimming pool looked well-maintained and inviting (with an outdoor terrace) - but we did not have the time to use it. The Inn is suitably located on the road into Rockport from Gloucester. It exceeded my expectations.

I have no complaints.

The location was excellent! You are very close to Rockport downtown (5 mins by car, 20 mins walking) and 10 minutes driving to the Good Harbor beach! We also loved that it was a family friendly place, we went with two little ones and we all were very confortable. Finally the pool is a win! It is indoors which makes it easier to enjoy no matter what the weather conditions are. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable as well.

Rooms are a bit outdated, but it has all what you need.

Rockport Inn & Suites was exceptional! Our room was immaculate, the grounds were beautiful, the pool was very enjoyable, the outdoor seating in the firepit area was very relaxing, continental breakfast was great, a good variety of foods & a nice room to sit & eat. The two gentlemen at the desk were very pleasant and helpful. There is a trolly that runs every 20 minutes into the center of Rockport that is by the hotel. My husband & I will be back for sure. Our stay here was very relaxing and enjoyable!

I loved everything about this place: the room was well appointed; the bathroom was clean and new; the bed was comfortable; the room and entire facility were exceptionally clean; the AC was quiet and worked well; the decor of the common spaces was nautical and cute; the coffee tasted good; the breakfast treats were yummy; parking was easy; and the staff and patrons were friendly. Also, it was an easy walk to Bearskin Neck.

I do not have a single complaint.

The breakfast was plentiful with lots of fresh fruit, muffins, and bagels. My niece and I only stayed one night so we didn't take advantage of the pool but there were people in the pool and a nice patio area outside the pool room where guests were hanging out. Our room opened to the outside and was easy to get to even though we had a small flight of stairs to climb. There was enough parking close to each room, so we didn't have to search or walk far. The inner corridor between the pool and breakfast area was a little musty so I'm glad to have had the outdoor room. It was very clean with a little area for "cooking" - small fridge and microwave oven. There was an iron and hairdryer in the room and a small sitting area with two very nice comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The front desk staff were polite when we checked in. I would stay again.

We didn't have a problem with anything.

My daughter and I were visiting other members of our family in Gloucester. I had stayed at the Rockport Inn previously with my husband prior to 2017 and enjoyed the stay. He passed on Jan. 27ty, 2022 and this was my first return to Cape Ann sine 2016 because of his iloness. I was born in Gloucester and my uncle Tony was the Rockport Harbormaster and a lobsterman or many years . Staying in Rockport helped us to be able to enjoy both Rockort's Bearskin Neck and places in Gloucesteer with other visiting family members stay8ing n Gloucester. We could only stay one night this time, but would consider staying hear again if we are able to come again because the location is central to the whole off Cape Ann.

Nothing, it was a great experience.

The entire property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained! The staff were very nice and super helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean (and that means a lot coming from me, I’m a clean freak.) I stayed for one overnight to go to the beach with my teenage daughters and 2 of her friends, and even the teen girls were raving about how adorable this place is! It’s amazingly close to beaches, grocery stores, and shopping. We wished we had booked a second night!

The only soft complaint I have is the breakfast. There was a great spread of cold items. However the only warm food was bagels and oatmeal packets. What was there was good, I just wish there was something warm for breakfast other than carbs.
