Everything. Fantastic staff, courteous, great service. fantastic location.excellent place to stay. Will definitely come back as staff was exceptional!!!!

We reached at 12.30, but we couldn't get early check-in. Nothing to complain on this. Staff was kind enough, but the policy to charge extra for couple of hours early check-in is not great though we stayed there for 6 nights. We stayed in Washington Hyatt for 3 nights and they offered us early check-in without any charges & hesitation. As said nothing to complain but if early check-in was provided that would have been icing in the cake. This does not stop us from coming back to this hotel.

Breakfast : Ceferina & Luz were always available to us and kind. Always here to refill all breakfast stuff and they were both helpful. We loved their energy and kindness. One point to the hotel, maybe change the breakfast we stayed 11 days and same breakfast everyday… Lobby : Pamela was so kind and welcoming to us, she dealed our checkin. Room : there is no possibility to open windows means no fresh air. Bed are comfortable, fridge is here and microwave also. TV working and all necessary things are in the room. If needed extra pillow or blankets room service is available 24/7. Accessibility : bus 320 that goes directly to Times Square in 20 min (notice that it’s a New Jersey bus so don’t work with the metro card of NY). There is a Walmart also near at 10 min walking distance where you can find everything ! Parking free in hotel if you have any car.

The room was cleaned and updated, the breakfast selections were good. Close to MetLife stadium and variety of restaurants.

My prepaid reservation through Booking.com was canceled by the hotel because the property did not take cards attached to your Apple wallet due to prior fraudulent transactions within the hotel’s system. The card had to be physically swiped upon arrival, however I used affirm to pay for the reservation on Booking.com. I arrived went to check in and had to end up swiping my personal credit card to pay for the night which I didn’t plan on doing, yet no one sent an email stating that my reservation was cancelled. Just a big misunderstanding due to the hotel’s lack of fraudulent security. $349 for one night.

Welcoming, friendly staff, great buffet breakfast, rooms were comfortable. There are a range of restaurants a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

1. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear people in the adjoining rooms. 2, The booking did state that the hotel ran a free shuttle service within 3miles of the property but this is not the case - the shuttle doesn't exist. 3. This is not really a complaint - but just so people know - they are currently undergoing renovations so there was some construction noise during the day and the lifts weren't properly lined. Honestly, it wasn't that big a deal. They made an effort to keep the noise to a minimum and were very respectful.

The staff was very friendly the hotel new and modern. The rooms were large like a suite and very clean. Perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Beds very comfortable.The breakfast was great. The location was perfect. The bus stop 320 was on the backside of the hotel, very convenient you could get a round trip for $9.80 at the ticket machine. It took about 15 minutes to get to downtown Grand Central bus station at Time square. Parking for free at the hotel. Awesome experience we would definitely come back.

The hotel was very nice and accommodating. The location was great. Breakfast was enjoyable and saved us money every morning. They allowed us to leave our car parked while visiting NYC. The bus stop is very close and affordable. The staff was very helpful and kind. Clean facilities and comfortable beds. A modern hotel. Very close to the American Dream mall, so make sure you stop and visit!!

No microwave in the room, but they do provide one in the downstairs eating area for the guests.

The hotel room felt more like a studio apartment versus a standard room. The room was cozy, warm, and comfortable during my stay at Hyatt Place. The continental breakfast, by far, was exceptional. The hotel was within walking distance of my favorite restaurants, including a Walmart and a Sam’s Club near our hotel, making our stay more comfortable.

The major downside is that the bar only carried shelf liquor and did not include brand liquor. I want to give an example of my Lemomdrop Martini with your hotel bar shelf liquor vodka versus using Smirnoff Vodka, which makes an exceptional drink. However, I ordered two Lemondrop Martini for my wife, the worst Lemomdrop Martini ever. The drink with the cheap bottom-shelf liquor the drink was weak and syrupy, and my wife and I poured our drinks out into the sink in our room. We were very disappointed with the drink and went to Buffalo Wild Wings. Their Lemondrop martini, made with premium Smirnoff liquor, made my drink go from ordinary to extraordinary.

The Bus Connecting New Jersey To New York was really good and location was good The Plaza and Walmart was nearby the hotel and the staff was awesome helped us everytime we asked, everytime we needed extra things they provided us with everything. The beds were also comfortable and the lighting of the room was also good. Good experience in Hyatt Place in 5 days - Thanks for hosting us :)

Breakfast wasn’t that good, not much options and the fruits didn’t taste sweet it was too sour and everything was fine in Hyatt Place :)

The room was quite large and comfortable and a baby bed had been prepared as I had requested. There's a view of the Empire state building. It's easy to go to NYC by bus, it literally took only 20 minutes to go to the Port Authority where there's a subway station closeby (kids travel for free on the bus during the weekends). The breakfast was quite good, we just missed having pancakes or waffles. A big plus for fruit salad! The lady assisting us with the luggage in the morning was very friendly and helpful.

Getting to the hotel late in the evening by public transport from Newark airport would have taken 2 hours, so we took an Uber from the airport. It cost ca 45 euros and my European Uber app worked. At breakfast, it was great that there were proper bowls, mugs and glasses, but I was wondering why the mugs for example were more or less out of sight under the counter? The bath room was a bit dated, but we understood that refurbishment work at the hotel was ongoing. We were not bothered by the construction work that we saw in the elevator for example.

The room felt like an apartment, super clean and in a great location for getting to NY. Staff was so helpful and breakfast was good. It felt very private and the space was very nice. Sofa bed really only good for one person. Dining places are a quick walk away.

Sofa bed could have been bigger. One son had to sleep with cushions on the floor, even though we paid for 4 people. That was our only complaint.
