The hotel is in the center of Downtown Brooklyn, which means it's close to all sorts of local restaurants, food courts, and public transit. The area felt safe, even at night. The flavored water near the lobby entrance was nice, especially if you're settling in or on the go. The Phillips mood-changing light was a nice addition to the room, and helped me fall asleep at night. The bed was large and comfortable. The even rooms in the hotel was very clever.

I understood that I was paying for a standard room. However, the pictures indicated that the standard room has a similar layout as the premium room, including carpet and a city view. Instead, I got a room with hard floors with trash next to the window. It would be much more helpful if they included pictures of the standard room, instead of only the premium rooms. The ice machine in the hallway didn't work, and although they did have an ice machine in the dining area on the first floor, it was difficult to maneuver.

The room was big enough and comfortable, beds were amazing, pillow count and variety was great. That location in Brooklyn is just perfect, close to three metro stations, several stores and even a food market. The staff was always available and helpful. The bathroom amenities were superb.

Housekeeping service was not consistent. Some days it was great, some days we didn’t get it at all (or we get a “quick and incompete” version) so we needed to ask for it at the front desk. We weren’t expecting this at this hotel. The bathroom door didn’t provide any privacy, there is room for improvement there.

Location was perfect and room was clean. Staff pleasant and welcoming. No issues with the humans supporting the facility.

Understand that improvements are always taking place but construction at the entrance of the facility and adjacent sidewalks was something to navigate and lowered first impression of the property.

I was in Brooklyn for one night to see a show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and it was the perfect stay. It's become quite a happening part of town. Walking distance to BAM and all sorts of eateries and coffee shops and lots of public transport options around the corner. The room is small (it's NY!) but comfortable and well designed. The shower's a bit odd - it's a hand held which normally I like but the holder should be adjustable and not just shoot straight out. All the sporting equipment is kind of cool and thoughtful - I would have used if staying longer. I couldn't figure out the purpose of the red light and I couldn't turn it off but who knows - maybe it helped me sleep better. The staff was kind and helpful. Can't beat the rate. Would stay again.

The room was so small, I couldn't sleep on the right side of the bed because I couldn't get around the it... Not enough space for cloth.. The smell in the room when we got into, was horrible, as they cleaned it, but probably with dirty rag... The air condition was always on FAN... no heat / cold states.. When set to automat mode it didn't work over an hour & more. If set it to on, it was very strong... it was noisy AC... I was required to pay for luggage storage in the day of checkout after spending a week in the hotel... 1.80 $ per luggage...

We were in a very centrally located hotel with good facilities and cleanliness. The staff including the cleaning team were very friendly and accommodating. There are various supermarkets and some subway stations a few meters from the hotel. The location is also very quiet as the nearest main street is a bit away. The room has a television, a modern bathroom, hotel safe and a large bed. There is free water at the entrance and fast WiFi everywhere.

The room size could be a bit larger, but that's probably a typical New York City problem.

There were a lot of positives : the location was excellent , the rooms were clean & comfortable, the staff was great - helpful, pleasant. Additionally We booked an accessible room and it had all that we needed. The price for the room was the best we could find in the area. The 24hour marketplace kiosk was convenient for snacks etc and the on site restaurant made delicious burgers which teen daughter & I enjoyed. The courtyard was also a nice feature , used it for some quiet time and even to participate in an online meeting.

Unfortunately for us a wheelchair wasn’t available at the time we requested, perhaps another patron was using it. That would have been great. We traveled to the area for medical treatment and so stayed at the hotel for two weeks. We would have liked a washer/dryer but understand it just may not be appropriate at this hotel.

I really loved the gym here. There were two Peloton bikes. There is a floor for cardio equipment and the lower floor for weights. I loved the concept of the hotel that caters and attracts folks who may want a gym / fitness focus. The rooms do come with a yoga mat, blocks, etc. There’s a channel specifically for workouts. The location is also pretty good. There are lots of different stores and restaurants around. Street parking is also pretty accessible if you don’t want to pay for overnight parking. You just have to move by 7 am.

There’s a reservation / utility fee daily and that was interesting. The rooms are tiny. The pictures definitely makes the room look so much bigger than they are. The full size mirror is right beside the bed so you don’t actually see your full outfit using the mirror.

Our room was decent and front desk at check-in was friendly. The king bed was comfortable and the location is impeccable -- close to multiple trains, Barclays Center, BAM, Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge Park, etc.

Check-out was not as smooth as I would have liked; there was only one front desk attendant at 10:30am. Our toilet seat cover was already broken when we arrived in our room and I could hear the people upstairs stomping/jumping.

I like the rooms, they are comfortable but I think all of the rooms should feel like 909. The shade and the mood lamp should be in every room. I’ve stayed in a few rooms and the that was the best out of all the rooms. The photos are of room 909. I like the fact that this hotel is in a nice area and not too busy.

The fact that EVEN doesn’t have tables and chairs outside is a take back for me. Even a bench would suffice to accommodate their guests. The menu doesn’t have common everyday items that most people want to eat. The bar area is not stocked well. When staying here I go around the corner to have drinks and my food comes from stores nearby as well or doordash.
