Very good morning breakfast after awhile would have liked more variety added to the meal menu but overall a great stay.

Staff at desk couldn’t help with knowledge of surroundings sites like church locations or other directions for locations around hotel. They could not help with finding any information on where famous buildings in the area were located but we still sorted that out.

Very close to subway entrance. Was able to get into the heart of Manhattan within 40 minutes. Decent area. Staff was very friendly, and helpful.

If you park in the lot below, be sure to get your car out before 12pm, otherwise you do not qualify for a discount for staying with the hotel. This was frustrating as it ended up costing me $100CAD for parking for one night. Definitely did not ruin my trip though. The good outweighs that minor detail

Beds were really comfortable, breakfast offerings were great, staff was very friendly and attentive. Loved all the late night food trucks on the block--especially the skewer cart that had a line of locals waiting till late every night! Delish!

Rooms are pretty tiny, but I guess that's to be expected in Bklyn. Street parking is tough around the block and the parking was $40 from 11pm-11am with validation.

Staff was helpful. The room was cleaned, and the view was decent. Loved the showerhead compared to another hotel I stayed at.

The beds were shorter than what I thought it would be. I'm 5'2, and laying on the pillow, my feet were hanging off the bed if my head was not touching the headboard. Good thing I sleep curled up.

I did not partake in the breakfast while there, however the staff was fantastic and the room itself was very clean and comfortable and all of my needs were met including things like extra towels etc in a very timely manner. I also thought that putting the key card in the electricity was a really neat feature.

My husband and I was looking a last minute get away spot and we weren't disappointed. The place was so clean, staff great. We had a little issue with the bathroom but that was resolved quickly. Other than that, the bathroom excellent. Was a bit disappointed with the breakfast but that's ok. Overall we love the place and would recommend it.

Insignia was a nice hotel in front of a HotPot/BBQ all-you-can-eat, and other nearby food spots in the heart of Chinatown Brooklyn. The staff was friendly, and the amenities were pretty good. The power/light fixture took a bit to get used to, needs to input Keycard to access power in the room otherwise it resets/shuts off after 10-15 mins. That being said think it's a good way to save energy, they also offer minor beverages + snacks at reception, if that doesn't satisfy you, I can't stress it enough, go to the HotPot place right across the street; it's the best experience when staying at this hotel.

I wish there were more precise instructions/notices on how to activate the power in the room, it might have been the lack of sleep from my flight, but it took me longer to figure out than expected.

We loved the location in Chinatown. The room was comfortable. Walking distance to everything we needed. Nice little patio out front. Friendly front desk staff. Beds were comfortable but might need replacing in a year or so. Nice little snack store as well. The dumpling place on 60th street, take away only is great.

The cleanliness. It didn't seem as clean as the last time we stayed a few years ago. Many guests did not adhere to the please wear a mask sign, two were obviously ill with upper respiratory symptoms. Breakfast was limited and carb heavy.

Very convenient location, it has a parking lot right next to it (extra cost) but also has free street parking if you can find one. Room is on the small side, but looks clean and relatively quiet.

No toothbrush or toothbrush in the room, but can ask the front desk for it. The shampoo and shower gel doesn’t come in individual bottles, they are attached to the wall and refillable. The shower gel bottle in our room was almost empty.

The room was just as advertised. The bed was comfy and the service/staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a good time.

The area might be a little too busy lol. Extremely crowded streets right in the middle of Chinatown I think. Not a lot of close by variety when it comes to food.
