Clean and spacious room, with plenty of parking spots.

During check-in, the lady at reception informed us that a $150 authorization would be placed on our card in case of any damages, and that the amount would be released back to our account immediately the next morning. However, the lady at check-out the very next day told us it could take up to five days to receive the money. While this wasn’t an issue for us personally, I find this kind of communication highly unprofessional and misleading. What if we had needed access to those funds during that time?

Location was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Staff were courteous and professional.

Food Options were limited because of multiple wedding parties. Staffing did not match demand so service was very slow. Not the staffs fault but definitely a management issue. Food was slow to arrive — we were close to walking out— and the food itself was hit and miss. Was expecting better. Oh, and their single elevator is the slowest I have ever experienced.

lack of breakfast options Christmas sale of items in the gift shop supposedly good through 12/31 but sign was not there and desk could not honor the discount. So no sale. I tried to book my accommodations on the Delavan/Salvatores Hospitality website. But No Availability for Dec. 31 When I found a room on another booking site, I reserved. This however, did not ggive me any amenities offered at the hotel site.

The staff was very helpful, sincere and kind! Sonny was the first person we saw, and his charisma, smile and style really brightened our day. The bed was very comfortable, but it was a little bit noisy even just laying down. The room was very quiet and private. The room itself was immaculate, and that is coming from a past executive housekeeper! Staff does an excellent job!

Our only complaint is the lack of an adequate breakfast. While we were in town to try out some Buffalo staples, we would have enjoyed a quality/included breakfast for what we paid! This was our only complaint, truly!

my stay at the Delavan was wonderful... from the moment I was greeted by Sonny at reception... to check out with Joanne... everyone was very kind, professional... Tom even assisted me with my morning tea... the room was spacious and very clean... the pillows were fabulous... the walk-in shower was appreciated... no safety concerns with the location of the Delavan... the parking area was well lighted...

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Large bathrooms with toilet separate from rest of bathroom which was convenient. I enjoyed the breakfast, although some of my party might have preferred a smaller item than the breakfast sandwiches that were available. Friendly staff at front desk.

Minor issue with the TV controller that was fixed quickly by the staff. The bathroom floor didn't look very clean, although it was not actually dirty. The hallway carpet tiles need replacing, they are lifting up from the underfloor.

Everything was PERFECT.

The person/ young adult who checked us in had a very bad attitude. He was not welcoming and therefore made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. We checked in late and left very early in the morning. Everything else was PERFECT, and I really appreciated the Suttle Service to airport and back to get our car. Allowing us to park at your hotel until we returned was also appreciated. Thanks so much. Rooms were very clean.

The Room was updated and visually pleasing. Mini fridge in the room which was convenient! The bathroom was beautiful! The room was clean. It was a bit too warm for us but we were able to turn on the AC to cool the room down. Over all, great room!

The bed was springy and not as comfortable as I had hoped. There was no duvet cover. Only a white sheet over the top of the bed which is pretty cheap for an expensive room! The bedding should be much better! Although the bathroom was beautiful, the lighting was NOT very good for getting ready (makeup, hair, etc.). A wall mounted makeup mirror would be an amazing addition that every woman would be thankful for!

The breakfast sandwiches, assortment pastries, dry cereal and coffee were delicious. The bathroom tile grout needs to be clean. The air vents need to be vacuumed and cleaned. The carpet tiles in the hallways need to be replaced.

The staff was wonderful. Always willing to help! My request were met promptly! The seafood bistro was fantastic! The overall atmosphere was conducive to rest and relaxation.

Third time here and it was still a fantastic stay. Front desk staff very polite and helpful. Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. The facility is still very well maintained. I love the fact that the restaurants on site provide dining variety and are not too pricey.

Breakfast model has changed - not much of a fan of the new model where a voucher is provided to augment what you buy to eat. I would rather pay for breakfast upfront and enjoy it.
