The staff were friendly and helpful and the neighborhood was safe and interesting. There was a market in the square very closeby on the weekend and a subway station nearby so it was easy to get around on public transport.

Lack of parking onsite. I found out after arrival that parking (though paid) had to be reserved in advance as spots are limited. It would have been good to share this information ahead of time.

Hotel was one block away from metro station so very easy to go anywhere. Twin room was clean and new towels provided every day. Room was very quiet, no outside noise so easy to get to and stay asleep. Could not hear other guests. Supermarket right next door to hotel. Clean hotel inside and out. Breakfast was basic but good - pastries, breads, cereals, eggs, bacon, yoghurt and fruits, juice, tea and coffee. Staff were always smiling, happy to help and friendly. Would stay here again as no major issues and can get extra towels (see dislikes) when requested. Bathroom okay and shower was a step up/walk in, water pressure good and temperature was constant.

Very very basic with no luggage rack and given 2 people in twin room with 2 suitcases was a tad squashed as had to use the one provided chair to hold one suitcase and the desk to hold the other suitcase. No hand towel provided and when asked for extra towel were advised we were meant to use the body towel as hand towel too, but we got extra towel when we said we wanted a hand towel separate to body towel. Towels were replaced every day even when hung up and not placed on floor, and we had to ask for another towel for a hand towel every day, which was annoying as room cleaner should have replaced the number of towels they took instead of making us ask every night. Lighting in room not very bright so room a little dark. No tea/coffee facilities, kettle or fridge in room.

Both the hotel and the room met my expectations for the B&B Hotels brand, and at a colder time of the year the room was nice and warm. Although not in the centre, the hotel is just a 5 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station and there are amenities such as supermarkets in the locality (including one right next door, which even opened on a Sunday !)

Nothing really, everything was good.

The location was amazing -close to city center and so close to the metro entrance. Quiet area, supermarket, market, restaurants near the place. The bed was comfy - even though I found somewhat hard mattress, I slept really well. The pillows are comfortable. The staff is polite and the place looks, overall, good. Really clean - each day I found my room to be cleaned.

Room was big enough, the bathroom was nice and clean as well. The location was well connected to public transport and a supermarket was right next to the building. Nice lively district. Overall a pleasant room with lots of plugs.

I missed a blow dryer (even though it wasn't advertised it would be helpful). The WiFi required registration every single time and you had to put in a lot of personal data (even though I already had provided them for the booking).

The hotel was located in a convenient location for the purpose of my stay, but it's slightly outside the main city center area. Nonetheless, the proximity of the subway allows for a short trip into the other areas of the town. The room was clean, with towels provided.

The room was relatively small - a typical budget hotel for a short stay. Hotel facilities are very basic and slightly outdated.

The room was fine, bathroom slightly small but ok. Location is perfect, near buses, metro and trams. Beds are very comfy and staff useful, they let us leave our bags in the hotel for a few hours after check out.

There was no airdryer though but you can probably as reception even though it's not the best solution.

It was perfect for 9ur short stay. The stuff is very friendly and helpful, the room is just enough and very clean. And the location is great, near everything you need

Very convenient location just a few minutes walk from the Monplaisir-Lumiere Metro stop. From there, it’s only a short metro ride to Gare Part-Dieu, changing lines at Saxe-Gambetta. The hotel is also just a block away from the Musee Lumiere and Place Ambroise Courtois (Sunday book and postcard market). Room was clean and had everything you need for a stay in Lyon. Nice big, comfy bed. Standard B&B Hotel fitout – basic but functional. A couple of good supermarkets just next door (Casino Supermarche across the street and a U Express downstairs next door). Nice trompe l’oeil on the wall behind the bed.

I think the lift (elevator) might be due for maintenance. A bit of a bumpy ride!

It's a very basic place. It has everything it promises.

The location was a bit too far for a walking distance to truly call it "Central". Having said that — you certainly can walk to the city center on foot. But the walk to it is quite dead and uneventful. The hood in which the hotel is located is fairly dirty, residential and boring. The hotel carpets were smelling of mold in the corridors, which is this heavy odor that you get when the carpets are not properly taken care of. The room itself was in a very basic condition. The staff was very indifferent, dressed like they were in their living room and on the phone with their friends in between the checkins.
