Very clean hotel that came completely as advertised and actually exceeded expectations. In a city like Paris, sometimes hotels can be very hit and miss and be far worse than how they look online. That was not the case here. Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was well-equipped and made great use of limited size. Location was excellent, as well. On Boulevard Voltaire and in the heart of the 11th, was walking distance to Bastille and Republique. And you're close to so many vibrant streets like Rue Roquette and Rue Breguet.

Nothing, it was actually a great stay and incredible value.

Overall, our stay was amazing. The size of the rooms was perfectly adequate, and there were no issues in terms of hygiene; the rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast variety was also satisfying, and the croissants were especially delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel around 1:00 PM, and our room was not ready yet. However, this was not a problem because we already knew the room would be ready at 3:00 PM. Being able to leave our luggage at the reception during this time was very convenient for us. We dropped off our bags and immediately went out to explore the city. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, our room was ready, and we were welcomed with a complimentary treat. This thoughtful gesture made us very happy. It was also a nice touch to have a Nespresso machine in the room, with capsules replenished daily. Additionally, there was water in the minibar, which was also restocked every day. The hotel is not within walking distance of central locations, but it is very close to public transportation. Thanks to this, we could reach everywhere quite easily.

Returning to The Grand Hotel Français is a little like coming home for my husband and I as we have stayed here regularly for close to a decade. We had a very pleasant stay. I stayed for two nights, my husband joined me on the 2nd day having arrived from Australia. He too felt delighted to be back. As always the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom well-appointed. We enjoyed breakfast in the little breakfast room downstairs. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful with all our needs. We look forward to returning in late October.

We loved our stay. It was our anniversary and the hotel provide a little bottle of bubbles and glasses and a very sweet not with it. The room was nice, crisp and clean. The beds were excellent and very comfortable. The shower was nice, hot and powerfull. The location is perfect between the major M lines and busses, but also a lot of sights within walking distance. The staff was freindly and very helpfull. We had a great time.

The TV and entertainment was a bit outdated, no streaming services, only French channels. The elvator was slow and tiny.

The friendliness of the staff really stood out. We were always greeted warmly and had actual human conversations, they were interested in how our days was going and offered assistance of all kinds from restaurant recommendations, to the welcoming glass of wine and charcuterie to storing our luggage so we could have an pleasant afternoon after checking out. Breakfast was quite good with variety and flavor. Our room was well designed with closets adjoining the bed and beside insets for books, water and light switches. Nice soft GHF-monogrammed bath towels too. A genuine unexpected find for us.

A longer stay!

Great hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly. This is my third time I have stayed here. Rooms are modern and well kitted out. Nice little restaurant in the basement which serves a quality breakfast. The location is good and there are two metro stations close by. The 11th district is a peaceful location if you just wanted to chill out for the weekend or if you want more excitement the metro gets you into the busy districts very quickly.

I was told breakfast was included with my latest visit but I was charged in the end. A minor point.

So we booked the hotel a few hours before we come in France, we glad we found available on booking. When I entered the room it smelled so nice it made you so comfortable. The sheets were so clean, the towels were smelling nice, the toilet was a 5 star cleaning! It didnt made me feel uncomfortable at all! I enjoyed very much my bath there was plenty of hot water and because it was SO cleaned it was the first time i didnt check. Everything was perfect, the stuff very friendly there was a very kind man and he referred us to go to eat to a place near and gave us the card of the place. Really it was the best experience I've had with hotels. You have to change the 3 star and put him 4-5 star 🌟 FOR SURE! Thank you very much for accepting us to stay at your hotel 🙏

The proprietor was very kind and welcoming. Special chocolates and wine provided for our long stay in the “Romeo and Juliet Suite”. Very sweet. The room was tasteful, very clean and everything worked like new.

The only thing is that the room is a little small for two people with luggage. Good for Juliet, but maybe not both Romeo and Juliet. But it is a reasonably priced hotel in the middle of Paris, so it was expected, and certainly manageable. No issues.

Rafik and the staff at reception made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived we extended for another 3 days! They are were all so professional and efficient and answered all of our questions. The room was very clean with all the toiletries we needed and the bed was super comfortable. The location is perfect, lots of restaurants nearby and on a really convenient metro and RER line.

The room and bathroom are small but that is Paris!

This is a charming neighborhood hotel, locally owned. This was a last minute booking due to an unanticipated flight cancellation. We arrived after midnight, and the manager received us kindly and offered us a glass of wine as he checked us in. The room was small, it had all the amenities. You would want a small hotel. It is a well-worn facility, with comfortable beds, towels and bathrobes. The hotel is very quiet, and in very quiet neighborhood.
