It was a beautiful hotel and I loved the small touches like water refill stations, free juice etc! I definitely got a good deal compared to other hotels in the area. The beds and amenities within the room were excellent. It was always fresh and clean after walking around the city all day. I did find it was quite loud in the evenings sometimes with slamming doors, the music next door, stomping around etc. Luckily I had ear plugs which sorted that. I couldn’t hear any noise from outside though which was great considering it was a busy area. Location was a bit daunting as a solo female traveller, waiting for someone to open the door to the lift late at night put me on edge a little. The entrance is off the main street and people would be hanging around near the entrance sometimes. Despite the small things above I would definitely book again 😀

The location was very good for us and literally next to the Gare De L’Est. All the staff were incredibly friendly and pleasant. Our room was quite small but this wasn’t a problem as our stay was only two nights. The bed and pillows were of excellent quality and comfortable. It was also very quiet, even though immediately ext to the train station. We paid€20 per person for breakfast the second day as we had an early train. It was a good buffet sélection but seemed about €5.00 too much.

The windows did not open and even with the heat off it was uncomfortably warm. Quite unpleasant. Apparently there is no way to cool the rooms even in winter.

Our welcome at OKKO hotels Gare de L'Est was warm, friendly and helpful. We were able to choose our room based on preferences, and were advised about all the extra freebies we could help ourselves to in the snack section - which was generous, ample, delicious and 24/7. The room was very clean, modern, well appointed and comfortable, as well as the whole hotel being extremely quiet considering how busy they were, and how close we were to a major train station.

The area around Gare de L'Est and the hotel itself directly isn't the most beautiful, however with a short walk or metro ride you are very close to easy access to the wonderful city of Paris and all it has to offer. However, what you lose in immediate surroundings beauty, you gain in convenience and access, and there were LOADS of great places to eat and drink nearby so it's only a small detail.

The close proximity to both gare de l'est and gare du Nord and metro stations are very convenient. No noise from the trains in my room.

Unexpected position of the hotel results in awkward non traditional approach. The light source in the bathroom had a poor CRI rating. Strange flat colors while you are doing your thing.

Hotel is located next to train station and it's easy to get to public transport. Also - quite a few attractions are within a walking distance (~2-3 km). Hotel room was very clean and tidy, breakfast was good, selection of dishes was sufficient. Hotel service was kind and helpful.

Hotel is located next to railway station, so the view from windows is rather monotonous. Windows are locked shut and A/C was not working very effectively, so it was hot in the room even in April. The room is rather small, but the WC is really tiny and very narrow.

Right on the middle of Gare Nord and L’Est , so , that make’s very practical if you’re have an early train in one of those stations. Staff are very friendly, some free drinks and appetizers are available as well . Room was good enough for 2 , the only downside was the toilet area that was very small , if you’re 1,90m or more you’ll struggle to do your necessities, if you know what I mean , but no big deal . I recommend and will come back .

The facility looks good outside and inside too. Everything was clean, the room was just like the pictures, bed was very comfortable and the whole staff was friendly and professional.

The location is well connected to the city as it is right next to both to Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord train station (which is great), however as the facility is located right behind the station, I felt a bit uncomfortable walking by it especially at night as there were people always around that area that made me feel a bit unsafe as a girl. I probably wouldn’t go back if I was doing a solo trip but if I were with someone else I would definitely go back!

The hotel was very quiet and is extremely convenient for visitors arriving in Gare de l'Est or Gare du Nord. The reception and bar/restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge (club) area is very pleasant, with free hot drinks, water and snacks all day. There is also free water available in the corridors. The hotel is making a good effort to reduce plastic waste.

The bedroom is open plan, so the shower unit and sink are not in a separate room. This may not appeal to everyone! The bedrooms have a Nespresso machine, but no kettle. However, complimentary tea is available in the club.

Location is great - 5 min walk from Gare du Nord, cleanness, room had neither fridge no kettle, but equipped with nespresso coffee machine and a few capsules along with cups/glasses and sugar/sweeteners. It was very quiet, but I had no neighbours from both sides, so hard to tell about the noise cancellation when hotel is full. Perfect feather blankets and pillows and very elegant no-iron cotton bed sheets.

The ventilation/air conditioning didn’t seem to work but I could open the window in my room, so it was ok.

Ideal location right next to major train station and a metro within 2 minutes walk with direct line to the 1st, and easy connects to all other neighbourhoods. Heard no noise at all from neighbouring station, and room was clean and nice. Staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay. Breakfast was excellent, fresh items regularly restocked and a classic continental style relaxed atmosphere - worth your money to add on. Also done small cheese board in the evening where you could also order drinks. Would return if was back in Paris.

Just a little hidden away and did take a while to find initially, but once you know then it’s simple. The room isn’t self like most in Paris is small, the bathroom especially, but clean. We paid through booking.com, note you pay further city tax on arrival, and then additional tax again was added to our final invoice - something to factor in.
