I really liked the area/district/environment the Hostel is in, I really liked that the rooms are actually really soundproof on one hand regarding street noise and on the other hand regarding noise from the bar in the evening. The rooftop Terrasse is a great feature!! The service was super good. :) I think it's def. worth it, just for me it is still expensive, but I think that's just because I'm cheap 😂

The room was really small but actually well designed to even fit 8 beds & lockers in there! Quite impressive tbh. I just think if it was fully booked it would have been packed!! Lucky for me it wasn't. :)

The breakfast! Yum. The beds were comfy. Nice common area to sit in.

Pretty expensive, the doors to the rooms close loudly, a staff member came in to unplug a light on a bed which broke the side of my bed and send all my toiletries down into the dirt, she then got a stick with tape for me to one by one pick them up. Obviously didn’t do it on purpose but it was quite frustrating and she could have communicated what she was doing as I was left to clean up the mess.

There were lots of little things that I wish were there, like curtains next to the bed, a shower with a lock, hooks and a stand for luggage in the shower, a stand to put shampoo and other things, hand paper in the restroom, etc. It was the most comfortable hostel I've ever stayed at. The showers and restrooms were all clean, and it was also helpful that the personal lockers under the beds were large. Towels were also free to use. It was also easily accessible from the station. The staff were friendly and I felt secure.

My bed was at the top of a ladder, which was a little difficult to climb, and I was a little scared that I might fall when I got down. It seems difficult to climb if you have bad legs, so it's better to contact the hostel in advance.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Room 501 has a balcony which is a bonus. If you're staying for a long time and need to hand wash a few things, you could bring one of those compact air-dryer hangers with pegs on to use on the balcony. I think bed C is the best - even though it is a top bunk, it has plenty of head room. The lower bunks (B & F) have the disadvantage of having the lockers underneath them, which can cause your sleep to be disturbed when people are rummaging about in their lockers late at night. The ladies' bathroom on the 5th floor was cleaned regularly throughout the day. I really liked Belleville - although down-at-heel, it is quite central, well connected on public transport, very cosmopolitan, and there are great, reasonably priced restaurants - Korean, Vietnamese, Caribbean, African, Tunisian, Algerian, Kurdish, Jewish. I got back to the hostel around midnight a few times and felt safe as the streets were still busy. Ménilmontant, a stone's throw away, has a great vibe in the evenings.

I didn't like Bed B, the lower bunk bed on top of the lockers. Some guests would return about 1-2 am and use their lockers beneath me, which would disrupt my sleep. There was an unpleasant smell of drains at times in the bathroom, but I think that was due to the plumbing in an old renovated building rather than due to a lack of cleaning. The grouting in the shower cubicles could benefit from a machine/electric scrubbing tool, rather than manual scrubbing, which I saw the cleaning ladies doing. The showers have been set to reduce the water flow, to save water I guess, so don't expect a power shower.

The beds were comfortable and felt private even though I was in a 6-bed dorm thanks to the privacy curtains. The lockers were plenty big for my bag and locks were sold at the bar to keep your belongings safe. The rooms and bathrooms seemed decently clean and I saw the cleaners multiple times throughout my stay which was reassuring. The bar was nice and had good drinks and delicious croques/toasted sandwiches. There was a Halloween party the first night I stayed which was fun and the other hostelers I talked to were friendly. Most people were pretty quiet which I liked as an introvert. The reception and bar staff seemed nice enough. There are a lot of good restaurant options around as well and not in a super touristy area.

A bit out of the way but very easy to get to central Paris by Metro. Area is not touristy and felt a bit unsure walking at night as a solo female traveller but that’s par for the course and I wasn’t bothered by anyone. A slight smell of sewage in the bathroom at times but not noticeable elsewhere in the hostel.

Excellent location, just a few steps from Couronnes Metro and Bellville metro (exit 6) with lots of shops and restaurants close by. It was easy to get to Louvre, Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coure by Metro. A beautiful indoor swimming pool, Alfred Nache , also a few roads away. Checkin was easy. Bed was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with socket to charge your phone , and lockers big enough for hand luggage (bring your own lock). Bathroom was spotless and cleaned several times a day. My roommates were respectful and kind. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

There was no iron to iron my clothing.

Unexpectedly very comfortable stay. Was afraid when recognized that it is a hostel, but turned very good and nice. We had a small double room at the top floor with access to common terrace providing good view and absolutely not noisy at evening and night. The room was small, but comfortable enough and who cares about the room size visiting Paris :) Coffee maker and kettle were provided and AC allowed to be comfortable during quite hot weather. Communication and check-in were simple and quick. The location is convenient being not far from Gare du Nord and close metro stations.

Everything was great . It was my first solo trip and location was safety and and chill (chill about worring in general this arr is so good for have a fun, bth if u wanna to know) .so near with matro station ( with two metro station). Maybe rooms were small but idont think so that make me some problem ,i was there only for sleep and befote sleep and idont think it make some bad sense … in the hostel somedays have events , which is so cool also (if u have know idea where u wanna have fun try „the people”) And last staff was sooo great nice and etc BUT RAMZI , idk what can i say about that boy just planing ur trip in paris and choose „the people” and u will see how GREAT AND SPECIAL IS RAMZI LIKE A STAFF LIKE A FRIEND LIKE A PERSON (in all way) Finely if u have solo cheap trip try „the people” <3
