Great experience, was upgraded without asking, team was exceptionnaly nice and always very helpfull. They create it 4 wonderfull days for me. Everyday, I had a present delivered in my suite !! The bar at the roof top is uncredible at night and team is top !

The room was a great size, lovely to get an upgrade. The roof top terrace was a very nice surprise. Very helpful staff, great service and snacks.

The breakfast room was very underwhelming. It was like a cafeteria, very disappointing in an otherwise lovely hotel.

We contacted the hotel a few days prior to arrival and they easily approved us to check in several hours before check in time. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. We had a family room (two connected rooms), which were nice and modern, but as most European hotels, sizes were a bit on the small side.

The hotel is located just a few blocks from Termini Station, which was very convenient if you plan on using the trains. The area around the hotel seems a bit sketch. Lots of rif raf walking around closer to the train station, so I was a bit hesitant to walk around with family in the evenings, but overall, I felt very safe in and near the hotel.

Review August 2024 - stayed here for 5-nights on a girls trip. Absolutely loved my room! I had a 7th floor corner room with two huge windows plus an oversized bathroom with a tub and shower. Gorgeous hardwood flooring. Desk. Dresser. Mini bar with fridge. And a king size bed. Lots of space! My girlfriend had a smaller room right next-door. It was not a corner. This chain has several hotels right in a row. The Genova, Atlantico, and the Mediterraneo. Plus, there’s one right across the street with a restaurant. The breakfast buffet every morning was fantastic and the selection was able to accommodate our vegetarian needs. Upstairs there is a rooftop bar with beautiful views to watch the sunset every evening with stunning views across the city, right across to the Vatican. We loved sitting up here! We found all of the Hotel staff super friendly and able to speak English. The hotel location was easily walkable to the Termini and hop on bus stop just around the corner. A couple streets closer to the Termini area are a little bit seedy, but if you go the other direction, there’s lots of restaurants and stores. 4th time in Rome, and I would stay here again.

It's location, easy to reach to the train centre. Staff was excellent specially Roberta, at The reception desk, She was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful, Not only she up graded our room to the junior suite but did listened to any issues and sorted them quickly/ smoothly and without any issues

Limited options in breakfast specially hot food options, no change in the variety, same items every day, A surprise came at the time of check out when I was asked to pay tourist/ city tax of 120.00 Euros which not only surprised me as I was not expecting and feel it was too much like even I had to pay for children also but I think it's not hotel fault

My stay at the Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo was outstanding. The breakfast was delightful, offering a variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near the metro station and restaurants, which made it incredibly easy to explore the area. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for maximum comfort and relaxation. I would also like to thank the front desk host, Albert Maria Grazia, for being especially generous by allowing me to check in early, so I could explore Rome's must-see attractions.

That I didn't have more days to stay longer.

It was very central to everything and the train was close by. We walked, took taxis and the train. We felt safe in the hotel. The front desk is exceptional and very helpful. The bed is comfortable and they supply a robe and slippers.

They did not have the best variety for breakfast it was the same thing everyday. The morning staff is also not so friendly. The room size is ok a little on the smaller side and we received an upgrade, so can’t imagine how small the original room was. The television only had Italian channel when we tried to go on the internet it didn’t work, called and no one showed up. The rooftop is nice, but is only opened in the evening. The drinks are a little over priced. The pillows need to be replaced as they are so flat and not comfortable.

Lovely 1930’s Art Deco hotel, beautifully restored, with air conditioning, comfy beds and elevators. The standard room was a bit basic but they kindly upgraded me when there was a problem with the AC. Breakfast was good, served in a gorgeous old dining room, and the evening rooftop terrace/bar was delightful. Lots of tour groups apparently staying there but that didn’t wreck the calm atmosphere. Excellent location to walk to the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona etc. in 15-20 minutes.

Wish the rooftop terrace was open earlier in the day.

Lovely room - quiet, comfortable, plenty of space, a table and chair, reading chair, space to open two large suitcases. Finally, a hotel that knows what a large fluffy towel is. Dressing gown and slippers to use. Delicious breakfast included with a large choice of options. Efficient, professional, and helpful staff at the front desk and in the dining room. Perfect location if you need to be near the train station in Rome. Near the hop on hop off bus if needed, or walk to everywhere if you enjoy walking. Large comfortable area to sit and relax near to the bar.

The hotel staff were friendly, upon checking in, they offered us an upgrade. When we got into our room, there were two bathrobes and slippers for us on the bed, drinks in the fridge and two bottles of wine. The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and there were tea making facilities as well. It is also very centrally located, right beside the main train station and metro and about a 20 minute walk from the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain.

There wasn't anything that I was dissatisfied with. The hotel surpassed my expectations and I couldn't be happier with my stay.
